Next mission: Facing the Duergar of Slave Mountain!
It's been about 2 hours since the last time people cast buffs, so all have worn off.
As you don't know exactly where to find them, you won't be able to precast buffs with a duration shorter than 15 minutes. Also, it is pitch dark in most of Slave Mountain, so what do you do in regards to light sources?
Boros Anwemane

Boros' golden eyes glow in the pitch black of the mountain, but those same eyes carry angelic blood, and angels can see in the dark.
"Shall we free some slaves from their bonds?" he says to his efficient companions.

"Well that was all very exciting. Who knew that someone's mind could come up with all that awful? Glad that I am traveling with such a skilled group of adventures. There were many times that I was going to step in, but it seems that you all had it in hand. I am sure that it was partly because you knew that Nugats has your back.

Boros pulls out his callistrian holy symbol and casts a spell of heroism and expeditious retreat on himself as the group gets ready to move forward in the darkness. He flaps his wings once, longing for the feel of enough strength to lift himself up from the ground without magical aid.
It's close, I can feel it...

As you don't know exactly where to find them, you won't be able to precast buffs with a duration shorter than 15 minutes.
Expeditious retreat has a duration shorter than 15 minutes, so you're free to cast it, but it would be gone before the encounter.

Oddly Sparky has nothing for darkness other then an oil of Daylight which he has no need to use right now. Lots of grabby things in the dark so Sparky will drink his freedom of movement extract.

Incoherent murmurs and groans echo through this large, dark cave. Tall stalagmites emerge from the cave floor surrounded by shallow pools of water. Ahead, a dim purplish light emanating from a multifaceted black gemstone the size of a human skull illuminates several humanoid forms heaped around the stone.
As you are approaching as a beacon of light, the enemies will get a surprise round.
Three duergar quickly scramble into the darkness, while their cloaked leader attacks one of the humanoid forms on the ground.
Damage: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (5, 8) + 5 = 18
The circle is dimly lit by the glowing gemstone, but outside this there's only the lightsources you brought yourselves, so unless the duergar are within your darkvision, you can't currently see them.

Boros raises his bow, but knows he is at a disadvantage with the range of his darkvision. Instead of getting a shot ready, he prays to his goddess, and his fickle mistress grants his weapon awe inspiring power.
"Get them away from the prisoners!" he says with some urgency to his companions as he moves to the east in the hopes of seeing one of the evil dwarves come around the massive column.
Keriassa
|
Keriassa speaks in an arcane tongue and twists her fingers to give everyone good hope then begins to speak of the downfall of the whispering tyrant to inspire their violent tendencies.
Cast good hope (7 minute duration) as a standard, then begin raging song (with guarded life and reckless abandon attached) as a move action. 5-foot step back.
Affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +2 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.
When starting an inspired rage, the skald chooses which rage powers (if any) to add to the song, and all affected allies gain the benefit of these rage powers, using the skald's level as their effective barbarian level. The skald uses his skald level as his barbarian level for the purpose of selecting rage powers that require a minimum barbarian level. If the rage power's effects depend on the skald's ability modifier (such as lesser spirit totem), affected allies use the skald's ability modifier instead of their own for the purpose of this effect.

CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, F (miniature shovel costing 10 gp)
EFFECT
Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect 10-ft.-by-10-ft. hole, 10 ft. deep/2 levels
Duration 1 round + 1 round/level
Saving Throw Reflex negates; Spell Resistance no
DESCRIPTION
You create a 10-foot-by-10-foot extra-dimensional hole with a depth of 10 feet per two caster levels (maximum 30 feet). You must create the pit on a horizontal surface of sufficient size. Since it extends into another dimension, the pit has no weight and does not otherwise displace the original underlying material. You can create the pit in the deck of a ship as easily as in a dungeon floor or the ground of a forest. Any creature standing in the area where you first conjured the pit must make a Reflex saving throw to jump to safety in the nearest open space. In addition, the edges of the pit are sloped, and any creature ending its turn on a square adjacent to the pit must make a Reflex saving throw with a +2 bonus to avoid falling into it. Creatures subjected to an effect intended to push them into the pit (such as bull rush) do not get a saving throw to avoid falling in if they are affected by the pushing effect.
Creatures who fall into the pit take falling damage as normal. The pit’s coarse stone walls have a Climb DC of 25. When the duration of the spell ends, creatures within the hole rise up with the bottom of the pit until they are standing on the surface over the course of a single round.

Neutral, as you didn't need to spend, but you also didn't kick him below 0 as he went down due to the subdual being more than his actual hitpoints. Unless you continue your full attack on the unconscious Duergar.

The sequencing is a titch odd on this one since I don't know if/when the Duergar are dropping. So... priority queue instead.
Narayan will begin by attacking the prone one. The first attack he makes against each Duergar will be stunning; the first hit against each one will be nonlethal and intimidating. He'll make his Medusa's wrath attacks as soon as possible, which will be once he's made them stunned (DC 18 fort) or flat-footed (via hitting them once they're already shaken), so just weave them in whenever they were allowed.
