A natural stone bridge crosses through the upper reaches of this room, directly above a large pool of crimson liquid.
To the north, where you came from, stands a large mirror, its warped surface framed in iron.
The warm scent of wet fur is overpowering here, and a furtive shuffling echoes down from above.

Hearing the strange sounds, Ghirrak peers up, his eyes piercing the gloom, narrowing as the sees that they are , in fact, not alone.

Well, that's the full 24 damage taken.
"Don't let them grab you! They'll try and teleport you away," Marius warned, frantically running through his prepared spells for something decisive and coming up empty. He'd been genuinely hopeful about lightning spells, given their success in the last fight, but no such luck.
Instead, he unleashing the old standby of his enchanted ring. Sooner or later, probably sooner at this rate, he was going to expend all its charges. Hopefully that wouldn't put him at the absolute mercy of this cursed island.
Expending 3 charges from the ring of the ram on the closest demon. Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4) = 9 Plus bull rush attack at DC20
Flipping back a few pages, Marius was going to keep the Gargoyle Crown if nobody else wanted it, and no one put their hand up for it. Now seems like the appropriate moment to invoke the crown's 10 minutes of DR5/Adamantine.
And now we find out if the demons' stat block says their attacks count as adamantine. Surely not, right? Right?

You are reasonably sure from the literature you remember that these demons attacks don't count as adamantine.
And you suddenly realize, looking at your metallic skin, that for the next ten minutes, your hands count as magic and adamantine.

He missed the first swing, but connected with a series of powerful ki infused punches and kicks which beat the demon bloody. But he’s still up.
Bryson’s eyes turn blood red, his fangs and claws lengthen, and he grows in size.
Bryson is now berserk.
He screams and leaps!
He hits demon 2, Ghirrak’s opponent, and bears her down waist deep into the pool of blood. He proceeds to tear into the demon with serious damage.
Burian’s hair lashed out and attacked demon 4, it only cause moderate damage, but managed to grapple the demon.
Bar-Igura 1 took the time to recover from being stunned from being slammed against the wall, then stood up.
Bar-Igura 2 tried to fight back against Bryson

Once there deftly quickdrawing a pair of her wushu darts. She stuck one into the creature’s right ear, dealing serious sneak damage. But a flinch from the creature caused her to miss the other one completely.
Marius took a step forward to focus its attention on him before hurling a cloud of glittering dust in its face in an effort to blind it. He beat the demon’s SR, but the creature blinked at the right moment and was not blinded. Still it was coated in glowing sparkles, clearly outlined in the semidarkness.
Bryson froths at the mouth as he cuts and bites and claws at #2.
Bearing the demon backward, the demon shrieked in sudden fear, and then Bryson completely tore it apart. Blood fountained high into the air, covering Bryson nose to tail.
At the end of the round, Bryson looked up and around, searching for another target for his berserk rage.

Taking a step forward, Ghirrak continues his relentless series of attacks, augmented by his internal power.
Three of the five powerful blows land hard enough to deal significant damage to the suddenly unhappy demon as it bleeds suddenly, jolted out of her feeling of superiority.
(npc) Burian’s hair, grappling the demon, lashed out again and again, drawing blood, though much of the fight is hidden by Sunny’s smoke bombs.

On the one hand, bar-lgura 1 is closer regardless. On the other, Marius is oh so very temptingly squishy.
Crown or no, Marius was looking very much the worse for wear, and had no interest in sticking around to be whaled upon some more, especially with a decidedly bloodthirsty-looking Bryson bearing down on the bar-lgura.
Instead, he transformed himself into a whirlwind and rose up and away from the fight. He would take a moment to collect himself and check for any other enemies which might be lurking about. Then, given a clear shot, he could start raining magic on their enemies from above.
Using Change Shape to take the whirlwind form of an air elemental and rising 60 feet into the air (or up to the ceiling, whichever comes first). Currently on 12 HP.
