Kelvin Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (16) + 17 = 33
nearly a minute goes by and Kelvin looks over in horror. His eyes follow a very thin wire that travels underneath the door and in on of the floorboards all the way down to the lathe.
It snaps up as one of the men in the room putt the wire up into view and the overwound springs in the lathe let loose.

Cuthberwyn begins a story.
A dark story.
A story about a foolish man and his equally foolish three friends, who chose a path of lawlessness and abduction, and were wholly unprepared for the reckoning to follow.
(Dirge of doom cantrip, 30' emanation, foes in the area are Frightened 1 and cannot reduce their Frightened value below 1 while in the area.)
Through the rainbow pattern, Cuth can clearly make out Hueberk and he focuses his attention on him, channeling his anger into a morbidly amusement, compelling the bully to laugh at his own fate.
