Those recruits invited to attend a welcoming party can meet both the old guard as well as the up-and-coming leaders. But the party's not all talk; the PCs learn of four exciting escapades in Absalom, through which they can kick off their adventuring careers!

I vote that we investigate the shipwreck first. Frustrated as her friend might be, she should be safe while she remains petrified. The smugglers might be up to no good.

GM, is there a way for you to issue chronicles? This has scenario has lasted more than half a year.

I am good with chronicle sheets being issued to us. Not that I get a vote. This is a tremendously difficult scenario to GM at a regular table setting, let alone on a post and play site like this. GM Nevynxx you are far braver than I am to attempt to GM this in this format.

Personally, I know that I wouldn't be any better GMing this due to real life commitments. Also I am highly unlikely to play any other PF2 games so I am happy to wait. However I understand if others don't want to wait.

Hey, I feel like I'm way overdue to say this. I know a lot of people that I share a virtual table with are involved in the healthcare industry.
This is to all the doctors, nurses, technicians, eldercare specialists, all of those folks that spend their lives caring for the health of their fellow man.

I am curious as to what we are presently doing with this scenario. I have been asked about my Cleric PC to participate in other scenarios but under organized play guidelines you can only be in one scenario, quest, module at a time.

I had emergency retina surgery on Monday and found d out today that schools in NM are closed the rest of the year.
Has someone contacted a Venture person? I think that we have been more than patient with having our chronicles given. Characters and players need to be able to move on.

Hello. Looks like I owe you all a bit of an apology.
Things slowed up, I was set to start the third of four parts to the module, and then Rodlas asked if we could effectively end things, and Titus agreed. No one else had posted to the thread in a few days, so I presumed everyone else wanted to stop (my bad). I also basically stopped visiting the Paizo site, as this is the only thread I actually come on here for these days.
I needed to chat to a VC about chronicles for a part complete module, which with the current state of the world and my life too longer than it should.
When I did check back, there's lots of people wondering where I've gone and expecting the game to keep going.
So for those of you who are wanting to stop (Rodlas and Titus?) I will drop you a PM with information. For everyone else, could I have check in please and we can get up and running again.

Westgate: Calisro Benarry has made some weird friends over the years. One of the weirdest—a long-lived naga with unparalleled occult knowledge—was unjustly accused of a crime, punished with the Charge of the Gorgon, and left petrified in Westgate.
Calisro’s bribed someone to get permission to restore her friend, but it’ll look a lot more official if a third party takes care of the details, and the PCs are a perfect fit. She gives the PCs a greater salve of antiparalysis with explicit instructions that it be used only on the target.
She also gave you a minor healing potion.

While you converse in character here are some rules.
This is essentially a skill challenge unless you make it into a fight (which is always possible).
There is a crowd, and there are leaders. You are making skill checks to persuade the leaders to stand down.
You can use Intimidate (hard) or one of the skills below tied to the individual leaders background. If you can roll into that some roleplay, all the better.
Barrister => Diplomacy or Legal Lore
Acolyte => Religion or Lore corresponding to a specific deity
Smith => Crafting or Guild Lore
You can Aid another, and the "Quick Coercion" and "group coercion" feats could be handy if you have them.

OK, my friends, all I have in that list of skills is Diplomacy. I have neither of the Coercion feats, either. Happy to try to be the face and see what they are about, but wanted to alert you to my limitations here.
