Nevynyxx, I do not see anything by on the Paizo pages, is there something under google I should search for? I do not see any hyper links, etc...
Did you get a private message here on the Paizo boards from Nevynxxx?

You should have gotten an email when I granted you access to the google drive, that should have the link in it..

Lore 1d20+7
Having a look at your profile now, you don't seem to have a "lore" skill (which you should have gotten from your Background). You don't seem to have a background..... You have an Ancestry, but don't seem to have a heritage.....
Lore is never a skill on it's own, like the PF1 "knowledge" checks, it's always focused on something, and you should get that *something* from your background. Or you can spend a skill point to train in a lore....
I'm going to ignore this roll for the moment. Let's get your profile all sorted. If you want any pointers, just shout, we will get there between us.

Ah... I see, Strictly speaking "Society" is a skill in and off itself, what I mentioned was "Lore (Pathfinder Society)" which is knowledge of the Pathfinder Society, I can see where the confusion came from. We'll go with that then.

That is port one officially complete. Though feel free to continue to role play.
During this, you have earned yourself 2 Treasure Bundles (1.4gp for 1st level characters and 2.2gp for second level characters).
Now you need to decide which of the 4 missions you want to do first.

We can use the items we got so far in any mission, right?
What about resting between the missions?
Based on the mission briefs I would probably be inclined to do Fola's mission to find the missing Pathfinder first, then the dangerous ritual, then the petrified Naga and finally the Nexian smugglers.

Yes, the things you have been given you can use for the duration of this game.
You will have time to rest and fully heal between the different missions.
None are time critical in game-play terms, you wont fail due to the order you do them in, just how successfully.

I am happy doing them in that order.

On Secret Checks:
So second edition specifically calls out "secret checks". The rules state that they don't have to be made secretly, but the logic behind why (there are failure conditions that just don't really work if the PC knows they failed the roll) makes and awful lot of sense.
Which is a PITA for a PBP. Normally that gather info check I would put in a spoiler with the DC, and then let you roll and trust you to only read it if you succeed. Now, I need to wait for everyone who wants to roll to tell me (which slows things down) then hunt your modifier out (which is a pain) then spoiler some info for you.
If this wasn't a PFS game (where we should stick to RAW as much as possible) I'd probably do it differently. But this feels like a decent compromise.
If anyone has any options for speeding up that "Do you want to roll this" part of the process, I'm all ears.
TLDR: Please don't look at GM only spoilers

Would it be fair to assume that everyone who is at least trained in a skill would always roll it? Kinda like passive perception checks? Or are the secret checks triggered by specific actions by the players?
Some of the time, yes. Passive perception checks are good example of where I will just roll it and move on.
It's things like Gather Information, Trapfinding etc etc where a PC really needs to decide "I'm spending significant time doing this." where it becomes an issue in PBP.
This check for example, takes 2 hours; it feels rude of me to assume that?

At least maybe we have to adopt a new forum convention - maybe we could put all of our skill modifiers at the top of the profile or into the classes/levels sub-header to make it easier for the GM to look up? Or put them into the slide deck?

I'm not too fussed about pulling them from profiles, they only change after level up, so #I'll probably end up creating a doc with the main ones. If you have conditions in effect that change them, it may be good.
This is part of why I want the little spoiler on combat posts with conditions and stuff, it will help if I need to double back. As much use as the "stats" lines are, they are as they are *now* not when the post was made, which can be a pain too.
My main problem though is the delay in needing to ask "who's doing this", rather than the mechanical stuff in the background.

Just a question. I can see the map in the google drive, but I do not see any icons that represent us. Normally I have seen party members represented with icons that can then be moved on the map board much like a mini on a real map at a table top game, do we have icons to move around on the map?
I only ask in case I am missing something.
Nevynxxx

You aren't missing anything ;)
For the moment the effort/reward of putting icons on there is not really worth it.
Once we hit a point where we need init, and there are enemy things to worry about I'll worry about that. For now theater of the mind should be fine.

Hey there seems to be some debate on healing spells and feats.
Heal, on page 343 of the Core Manual states that a 2 action heal, can heal for 8 HPs and range of 30ft on one target.
As a FEAT , a Cleric at 1st Level can take the 1st level Feat Healing Hands on Page 121 of the Core manual. When this feat is taken and heal is cast, d10s are rolled instead of d8s. I am making a small jump in logic here, but if a one action heal now heals for 1d10 at first level, it seems logical that a 2 action heal would heal for 10 HPs and not 8 HPs.
The only prerequisite for the feat is to have healing font, which Titus does.
I am happy to ask this in the rules blog and i get eh impression you all think I might be trying t pull a fast one, which if that is the case, I am happy to withdraw from this scenario.
