I appreciate everyone's concern. Things are going just fine for me and mine. Just a bit of a scare and then a hectic weekend, kids and all that.

@Dol: If your concern is a TPK: I still want to keep playing with you folks if the group wipes. New characters, obviously, but the story continues.
If your concern is some of the players not checking in regularly: I do agree that it slows down combat, but beyond that it won't be an issue as long as you main 4 are staying consistent. Thanks for that, by the way.

I'd rather keep them within 100 ft if possible. If they get further away than that, Toot is diminished considerably. If we need to go one at a time over the bridge, that's probably okay, as it'll just be for a few minutes.

My barbarian archetype is invulnerable rager. Titan Mauler has some...balance issues so you'd certainly want to confer with the GM before going that direction.

Bumbo got Summon Monster II and Augment summoning. Toot got improved damage on his bite and combat reflexes.

Bumbo is honestly becoming more excited than scared right now. He feels that he is finally finding a bond with Toot beyond the seemingly forced one that they'd previously had. And, perhaps he's proved himself useful enough that Toot no longer looks at him with disgust.

As for everyone else, he now counts them all as his extended family. He'd most certainly die for them.

The thing I am most excited about for this level is Flameblade. I don't know how good it will be in the "real" world but I love the imagery of it.

Razkiv is still shaken from his encounter with the goblin druid, so far in these encounters they have only been fighting people trying to live their lives. He is questioning this push. But the goblin did state there was something tainted in tunnels below. He wants to face an enemy that he can feel good about beating.

New Feat: Deific Obedience (setting up for Evangelist prestige class). Torag's benefit is +1 with warhammers.

Head Space: There is a piece of work to do. Keep pounding the iron till it is shaped. Forging is not a gentle process, and Torag must have confidence in the quality of the metal.

I still need to crunch the numbers but this is a very exciting level for Loth.

First up: He gets dex to damage with his daggers now! My damage modifier just went from a -1 to a +4!

He also gets Danger Sense and an extra Sneak Attack die, so this is a good level up for Numbers Go Up.

As for my feat, I'm gonna be a little boring and get Extra Rogue Talent to get Underhanded, which gets me full sneak attack damage if I attack during the surprise round.

As for Loth's current mood, he's probably a bit worn by these big battles back to back. Also a little bit inadequate: his stealthing ahead failed him and during the last battle he held the line decently but got pretty hurt and barely damaged anything in return. So he's probably pondering how to be more effective to help out the squad, and kinda working out his level 3 stuff. The fact that he's supposed to be kinda adverse to adventure after what happened to his granddad is completely forgotten.

@Dol: What is the specific obedience for Torag? What do you need to do every day?
Also, Evangelist? Is that the one that you lose one level to the class but then get everything for both the Prestige class and your normal class for the rest of it?

@Razkiv: Correct on the first. The slots are available for use with spontaneous casting, but you can't fill them with spells of your choice until you prepare spells again. It is still early in the day, so you'd have to wait and rest until the next morning.

@Aventail: Let me know what questions, if any, you come up with. I had a player once who went with Titan Mauler and it is (as Mizzug said) fun but unbalanced.

@Bumbo: I love that you've essentially created a character that is condescending to itself. Is Toot actually just a representation of Bumbo's own insecurities? Let's explore that, shall we? Tell me about Bumbo's mother.

@Loth: Hopefully Loth will find more chances to use his sneak attack soon. And Dex to damage is a wonderful, wonderful thing. I presume you chose to apply that to daggers. Any idea what the level 6 Dex to damage choice will be?

@Mizzug: Invulnerable Rager? More like.... (insert pun) rager.... am I right?

I really thought I had one there, but turns out I didn't. So yeah. you smell bad.

Will go Armored Hulk. That’s probably the one I was looking for.

As for headspace, Aventail has mixed emotions - she shares Razkiv’s reservations about the indiscriminate slaughter of sentients, but also reacts when attacked - see her reflex backhand of the goblin-dog.

Given there seems to be a greater evil at work, Aventail shares Dol’s desire to temper the problem swiftly and with skill, efficiency and puissance.

Obedience:
Obedience After reciting a traditional prayer to Torag, either

Correct! Though that does beg the question: Does it apply on the Medium-Dagger-That-We-Agreed-To-Treat-Like-A-Small-Shortsword?

I've not put that much thought in the level 11 (not 6, as far as I can tell) choice just yet, though, but a rapier could be fun, I think. By that time our armoury will have probably expanded greatly, so I'll base it around what we've got on hand, I think.

Well, mum had her own pursuits - see, she loved the Sanos Forest and more often than not would delve into its deeper recesses to dig for secrets and open new paths of knowledge. The few times she did see her son, she'd dote on me, perhaps making up for lost time. But, when Toot came around, she'd often be distracted, wanting to study this great beast. Toot took it as a form of fondness...even love, perhaps? It created further tension between myself and Toot - as if we were both vying for mum's fleeting bits of attention.

Gain constant Endure Elements for cold weather and Cold Resistance 1. Gain Ferocity ability while using longtooth shift. Other than that, gain 2 more rounds of rage and a 2nd use of the shift ability.

Mizzug is starting to see her companions as an extention of her tribe, though some of them are a tad on the...soft side. Sees a kindred spirit in Toot (Best Friend mayhaps?). Is thrilled to be able to have some honorable combat, though they seem to all be "little people" and not the large ones her tribe reveres fighting. All in all, she is quite pleased with how things are going.
