In addition to spending a round on that, Hector will spread out as suggested. That’s about all the prebuff he has. GM, I am going to use a boon, “Liberty Never Rests” from #6-05 that lets me roll twice for initiative and take the better one.

Start of Round 2
The enormous dragon flies closer to the scattered pathfinders, quickly descending until it is only 10' above the ground, and just close enough for Caduceus' prayer to Iomedae to be heard by everyone but Heccan. Caduceus' readied action goes off, moving him to the top of the initiative order.
The dragon, however, appears unaffected. Perhaps it is not a devotee of Iomedae?
The dragon seems to smile back at the paladin before it belches out an enormous blast of fiery magma, targeted straight at Caduceus and Hector!

The paladin holds his shield aloft, The Inheritor's emblazoned image shimmering in the sky. A burst of energy erupts from the man, healing himself and Hector.

Caduceus takes the full blast of the dragon's breath, while his friend Hector is more agile and doges the worst of it. This uses up the temporary hit points for both of them. The paladin quickly heals himself and his friend fully. Both Caduceus and Hector are at full hp again.
Hector moves forward speedily, preparing the engage the monstrous dragon. Everyone, please show your movement path when moving around the battlefield.
Anen attempts to hit the dragon with a magical mass of gruesome fleshworms, but unfortunately they go shooting off into the trees, missing the barn-sized creature. Anen, it's normally a move action to retrieve a rod (unless you have it in a wrist sheath) which, unlike wands, can't be drawn as part of the move action to move. To keep things simple we'll just say that you had retrieved it during the rounds of prep, but fyi for the future.
Heccan peeks through the trees and can just glimpse the dragon enough to get his spell off. A blast of fire engulfs the dragon, who appears unfazed by it. Indeed, if it was smiling before, it may now be said to be grinning. If dragons grin.
Tytus is up!
Everyone, no word from Tytus since Sunday night. I PM-ed him last night but no response so far. I'm very hesitant to put him on delay for a fight like this, when I think you may well need the whole party. Does anyone else want to take care of botting him until he shows up?

Ouch. Need to get some damage on this thing ASAP. Tytus, assuming I survive, would you like to get teleported directly behind the linnorm? would let you get a full attack off, with flank from Hector? He's a bit outside my range for acid spray at the moment, unfortunately.
Heccan Abraxi |
Heccan blanches as the fireball bounces off the terrifying giant lizard. His eyes go wide as he sees his comrades hit with another burst of magma. Cursing himself for not hasting the party sooner, he moves into a better position. Frantic, he tries a desperate ploy to try and buy his fellow agents some much needed time.
Heccan hurls his hand forward. A stream of shimmering dust shoots forth and smacks the creature in the snout, a glittering cloud gathers around the linnorm's head.
