WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
As most of you are aware, the majority of the GM’s have not received their scenario support for the Convention to include a good portion of the Specials. With Tonya occupied by other duties this weekend, we realized as a team that we are very unlikely to see the remainder of scenario support drop by Monday the 26th. Multiple avenues were discussed and what seems to be the best solution is to push Gameday back by two weeks. This will allow enough time for the GM’s to receive their scenarios and prep them.
BUT WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SCENARIOS, CAN WE START THEM?
Please hold off until the new start date to be able to eligible for your boon rewards. I understand this is a large inconvenience, we are doing everything we can to make this work. Part of that is to have everyone one the same start / end times rather than scattered.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we want all our GMs to have a chance to shine.
HOW DO I NOTIFY MY PLAYERS?
Go ahead and post the news to your tables. Feel free to copy this email if you wish. We will be posting notices in all the PBP lodges as well as the Gameday VIII Announcement page.
I know this is not what we hoped to do, and I’m sorry. Thank you for understanding that we’re scrambling to fix this.

Hi everyone, I wanted to apologize for my absence Friday and over the weekend. I had to rush out of the office Friday because my wife was extremely ill and couldn’t care for our 3 month old by herself (she’s freelancing from home at the moment). I ended up spending all weekend taking care of both of them. I have updates coming.

You get to choose the tier you play in. If you go high tier, your level 1 might get killed, but he will earn out of tier gold if he survives. If you do low tier, you might steamroll enemies, but the level 4s will get out of tier gold. Regardless, the level 3 is always getting out of tier gold.

Shayna Therinor makes a 5th player, but they are also level 3, so it doesn't change our ability to choose a tier.

I mean, I don't wanna end up dead. But, I also saw the levels of everyone else on the sheet ahead of time.

I think I'd prefer high tier for the same reason. Besides, this is a Season 0, right? That means it was originally made for 4 characters, IIRC. With 5, we should be fine.

I've had my fair share of almost loosing this character, but if there truly are 5 of us, I'm down for high tier. Sorry for the delay on my end...Just finished up moving. Took a bit more out of me than expected.

This is the final encounter and its unlikely you'll lose here, so I'm perfectly fine passing out chronicles and reporting this scenario as complete, especially since you did the optional swarm encounter in the beginning.
