Me too.

@GM - Would it make more sense to keep the pace going to just script progressing through the rooms? Camil could say work left to right on doors, checking for traps and moving forward?
Just trying to keep it interesting for everyone, and its been a lot of "Camil moves up, looks for traps, opens door" - which isn't as much fun for others.

@GM - Isabella didn't take an action this round. Are you having her delay to give more time to post or are you going to bot her? Can I suggest she channel energy since all of us in melee are about at 50% max hp?
Isabella Monstrance
If we're starting round 4 then why does the DM's initiative tracker have the arrow near the bottom, just before Nualia at the end of the round?
Regardless, unless the map situation has changed, I'm stuck in the back around a corner, and channeling doesn't go around corners, so I can't use it to help the front line. (Roll20 is currently not loading for me, so I can't see if the map has changed at all.)
If you think the front line is going to fold, my best bet is probably to cast my battle spells now in anticipation of having to fight in melee. Even if I step up over the fallen bodies of comrades, once I channel I'll wind up in the same square with a conscious party member (unless someone dies outright) which causes other problems.
Channeling makes sense if there's an open space that I can get to where I can get line of effect to our front line, but again, I can't currently load the map, as the page just hangs for me.

There is a perfect place for you.
Currently it looks like this
.
.
.
XXX
-O-
XXX
Where the Xs are PCs, - are walls, the O is the corridor and open, and you are the PC in the lower left.
From where you are you can see all of us, barely. From the O you are right in the middle of the group. A perfect location for a mass touch spell or a selective channel.
Isabella Monstrance
Great, so I should be able to squeeze through the friendly space to the right, then step to the middle open space, and channel from there. Should be able to exclude our foes from any putative channeling.
Assuming the DM can load the Roll20 page that seems like a reasonable move.
Runt PbP
I took care of you. You are now in the middle of the pack on Roll20.
Isabella Monstrance
My wife has decided to have family over in spite of the pandemic, so I'll be away through the weekend.
Runt PbP
I think we are OK. Runt is actually a martial character, though she has been taking a back seat for now.
But I don't mind a 6th and it would protect us from more attrition.
Ironperenti
I'm going to let you all vote on the new member. I will collect them all next Wed. The question has been asked if you would prefer a melee or a ranged combatant. I said melee but thought I would check.
So far we have:
Male Human (Chelaxian) Ex-Paladin (Vindictive Bastard) 1/ Vigilante (Brute) 1/ Monk (Martial Artist) 1
half-orc Paladin (divine defender) of Iomedae.
Male Human (Shoanti - Shriikirri-Quah) Druid (Goliath) 3
Runt PbP
Definitely a dedicated front liner.
Runt is a decent front-liner, but will probably split her efforts between combat and summoning; Lavenor is focusing on ranged; Isabelle is focusing on spells if her stats are any indication; Camil is competent but looks to be focusing on tricks like tripping rather than damage. I think we should have at least one PC that focuses on dealing melee damage and taking hits.
Camil D'este
Camil was going to focus on tricks, but he's flexible - so a front liner would probably help the party the best. Honestly, I'd rather keep Camil as a skills and ranged combatant at this point in time.
Isabella Monstrance
Yeah, definitely a melee frontliner. While Isabella does frequently get into melee, she's not ggod at it—both her AC and her attack bonus are poor—and as we gain levels she'll be spending increasing amounts of time just casting spells.

The submissions so far:
Arioch Bellimarius: Male Human (Chelaxian) Ex-Paladin (Vindictive Bastard) 1/ Vigilante (Brute) 1/ Monk (Martial Artist) 1; unarmed flurry.
Anthorg: half-orc Paladin (divine defender) of Iomedae. Sword and shield out of combat focus on diplomacy and sense motive.
Mahuffma: Fankir the Male Human (Shoanti - Shriikirri-Quah) Druid (Goliath) 3; intimidating with scythe
Jarl Purrun: Unchained Barbarian (dreadnought/invulnerable rager) 3; two handed weapon warrior
TheLoneRook: Tohkar, Oread Barbarian/Warpriest/Hellknight; two fisted brawler
Forest Hunter: Fighter 3; Weapon and shield two weapon fighting
Runt PbP
Fun stuff on offering there.
We could pick from these and halt submissions if you would like.
Ironperenti
submissions are as listed. I prefer simple builds and we want to focus on martial capability so I recommend:
Anthorg: half-orc Paladin (divine defender) of Iomedae. Sword and shield out of combat focus on diplomacy and sense motive.
Jarl Purrun: Unchained Barbarian (dreadnought/invulnerable rager) 3; two handed weapon warrior
Forest Hunter: Fighter 3; Weapon and shield two weapon fighting
I await your vote and then I will begin to work them in.
Camil D'este
I'm pretty okay with any of the three honestly. Each brings something different, Paladin has some self-heal, Barbarian has great damage output, fighter has lots of feats and sounds like decent damage...
Runt PbP
I like forest Hunter.
Ironperenti
Camil neutral, and Runt goes with Forest Hunter. Sounds like a winner to me. I'm almost two days out so I will post our winner.
Just noticed, Isabella voted outside of discussion. So we now have a tie:
Anthorg 1
Forest 1
Need at least one more vote and I will announce or there are enough party members to pull in a different option. I'll break the tie after lunch if no one gets a chance to hop on between now and then.

I liked his character a lot and he seems like a reliable poster, but he's already in 2 games of Rise. I prefer to give someone else a chance to play. Also, with your build rules, it seemed Crisischild was going to be able to play a concept he normally would not be able to.
Runt PbP
For me is was the thought of going for a two weapon style and the high AC. He was more engaged in the submission process. Gives me hope he will keep up with the game.
Also there was more detail in the submission, even though Anthorg did offer to add more so that was not a deciding factor. Still, it might have shown a bigger commitment, though you all know that the same characters tend to get submitted so the work could have been done for a different game.
For me, a lot of time, I come up with a character concept for an AP and I keep building on it until it gets accepted. This was not Runt's first game/attempt. She has been passed over a couple of times and was in a still-born RotRL and a still born homebrew before landing here. If a character was in a campaign that lacked legs, I feel free to retry again with the same character add detail as I go along. You can come up with some pretty rounded characters that way.

I just don't like characters that can't be bothered to have a name. "Forest Hunter" is a hobby.
Nothing wrong with Jarl, I just felt that Anthorg had a stronger story reason to work with us. Jarl is running from something while Anthorg is running to something, if that makes sense.

Thanks for the invite. RotRL was my first experience with non-PFS pathfinder. Been to level two twice when both games died, so I’m not missing much of the story coming in now. Like I said in the recruitment, I actually applied in the original recruitment but the character I had in mind wouldn’t have played well in a large group. I normally play martial characters and Ironperenti’s rules make plain Jane martials more viable, so this game is pretty much perfect for me. I’m heading to work now. I’ll put up another post in the morning.

That’s literally how I named him. Years ago when I made Forest, my brother was giving me this diatribe on profession based surnames in Europe in the middle ages, so that’s what was on my mind when I named him lol.

Forest went with the sheriff and some of the militia to deal with a goblin blockade to the south of town. They had jumped a group of dwarven merchants earlier that morning. After dispatching the goblins, the sheriff was feeling better about the town's situation but felt the heroes who went north may need assistance. He asked for volunteers from the group who had assaulted the goblins to follow behind the heroes and assist if necessary. Forest and two others volunteered. Upon arriving back at Sandpoint, the sheriff went to Jubrayl Vishki.

Vhiski is finally convinced to help and leads everyone to a private boat house. Inside is a black hulled sailing boat with dark blue sails, Nightingale etched near the prow. He introduces the backup team, Forest and the two militiamen, to the boats pilot, Sparrow. Everyone boards the vessel and you finally depart about an hour and a half behind the original team.
The boat is fast and Forest begins to think it is enchanted. They make good time, definitely closing the gap with the original team, when the storm strikes. Sparrow does what he can but just as you come in sight of the spit of rock that is the Thistletop stronghold, the Nightingale strikes a rock. It is a bad hole and the boat goes under quickly in the storm. This is horribly terrifying for Forest who is in plate armor but he manages to grab onto a piece of the hull and use it as flotation. Just able to make out Thistletop, he kicks for all he is worth.
This is where I will move it to the Gameplay tab.
