Thank you, Malvo. That leaves me to a different idea.

Apologies for the delays but will need to extend a bit. Doing some political work that's taken over my evenings but builds to Thursday at which point life returns to normalcy. Thanks for your patience!

Loot tracker is updated with everything you've found. Take a momnent to ensure items are claimed (zero out the amount and make a note of it if they are). There is no way to sell the items so unclaimed loot will simply remain in your inventory until there is a way to vendor goods.

GM SpiderBeard |

And yeah the psychopomps do not recommend taking downtime of any serious sort beyond a single rest. You're very very close to the end of the chapter however.

Basically it's a Tien afterlife that's the site of an eternal battle between Yaezhing and General Susumu. Short of it is because your parents were ninjas there's some worry that they may go to an evil afterlife to take part in an eternal war between two evil deities. Yaezhing is the the Tien God of murder and patron of ninjas and assassins.

Spiderbeard, what's your ruling on Taking 10 on Spellcraft to copy spells into my book? Also, I don't see a ruling saying that I can't copy spells while walking. So, I would try to do some copying while resting at Salighara's, walking back to Umble and Thoot, and while resting at Roslar's. To copy all of the spells I don't know would take an hour each for a total of 12 hours. Also, preparing my spells for the day only takes 15 minutes.

I'll make a claim on the Heavy Mace. +1 to hit, and it's pretty much the same as a Morningstar, just without Piercing damage.
Ditto the healer's kit. I believe Artyom already has one, so I would like to claim this one as well.
Already have the Pearl of Power noted.
5 CLW potions? I say everyone takes one.

Alright folks, I'm in a serious period of burnout thanks to RL stressors.
Normally I push games through Christmas at reduced posting rate but I am going to place all of my games on hiatus until January. We're making good progress and I hate to do this but APs are years-long commitments and part of doing these successfully is recognizing when I'm at burnout risk and taking appropriate breaks.
So with that said, I'm going to cease all postings until the week of January 3rd. I will PM you all when the game gets going again.
Thanks for sticking with me, I love this group and I'm not going anywhere. I just REALLY need a serious break from even small obligations like my PbP games.

Malvo |

I know I completely understand. I had several PFS games I was running PbP, and for years I kept a constant stream of 2-3 at a time. This fall I had to let them wind down and not start any more because I just didn't have the brain and emotional space for it.
I look forward to seeing where this goes, but only when you're up for it.
Happy holidays, whatever your flavor may be!

Artyom Julum |

Perfectly understandable! Take the time that you need! I look forward to continuing when you're ready!
Happy Holidays!!

GM SpiderBeard |

AND I'M BACK HI EVERYONE!
Thank you for your patience with this long break. I'm a very very tired boy as I adjust to sleeping schedule so will try to get my posts up this evening but if not it'll come tomorrow.

Malvo |

I'm a very very tired boy as I adjust to sleeping schedule
Just post-holiday, or is your schedule changed from what it was before?
Regardless, looking forward to resuming once you're back on track! :)

Artyom Julum |

Hi Spiderbeard! Welcome back! I'm ready to go whenever you're ready.

Malvo |

Yep, that post-holiday "get back into routine" fatigue. I know it well. ;-)

Malvo |

Did we lose folks in the Paizo server fail?

Brother Tornell Alderwyn |

I'm here and accounted for. Deleting my cookie on my desktop was easy. Trying to do so without logging out of everything else on my portable devices was... well, couldn't be done, so had to relog in a bunch, but I'm set there.

GM SpiderBeard |

Hey everyone. So the week of forum hell seems abated and I guess it's time to come clean.
I'm gonna hang up my GM hat here on the paizo forums and discontinue the play by post games I'm in including this one. I've been running this game for several years and just recruited two more of you to come on but real-life commitments with my union have severely sapped my free time and energy to run games like this.
This is the third campaign I've run with members of this group I think. We go back years and years and I hate to give this hobby up but I simply do not have the time. Maybe once I'm done as a union prez I can return and start something fresh.
Thank you so much for sticking with me, playing your amazing characters, and just being great fun to be around. But the week with the forums down felt like a huge relief to me, and even after coming back from a holiday break - I knew that was a sign it was time to retire.

Brother Tornell Alderwyn |

That is truly unfortunate, but as life changes, we have to decide what's important.
Best of luck to everyone.

Malvo |

Completely understandable. I've actually been coming to a similar realization about my no-longer-ftf-game that we've been playing via Discord.
Take care of yourself, and maybe we'll see each other again some time!

Artyom Julum |

It's completely understandable, Spiderbeard. Take the time that you need for yourself. Your health always comes first. I also apologize if I haven't been posting enough and been holding the game up. Thank you for everything and I hope that we all can get back together in the future.

Nah this isn't on anyone in particular I run like five games and play in two others. Take care everyone and thanks again for the years together! See you around.
