Everything I know says your familiar starts from the base statblock, which includes feats. So yeah it'd have skill focus perception and weapon finesse.

Okay. I'm getting close to the end of the crunch. I'm just having trouble deciding on a Campaign Trait. I was thinking about Lawbringer. But, we already have someone with that trait and my charisma isn't high enough to make much of a difference.

Well, I don't know your character's backstory, but there's no rule on having multiple people with the same traits. On the other hand, I do get the idea to be something differet.
Artisan seems like a good choice, especially for a spellcaster. I don't know your concept, but the idea of a perfectionist wizard who takes pride in his dweomercrafting probably wouldn't be all that disruptive. May even provide a bit of extra colour if you were looking for something to flesh him out more.
Outsider seems fairly generic, depending on your backstory. Not fond of the bonus it gives, though. Leastwise I've rarely seen aid another actions done on PbP.
Snoop to be a rumormonger or gossip, and Word if you want to play a more religious figure, which could be interesting as a wizard. It's far too often that people leave religion for those with Divine spell sources. So, overall, I'd think Artisan is a solid choice.

Turns out I testify tomorrow, lol. Ah well. Gives me time to review everyone's characters:
Artyom - Looks good, I love that you have a big family muahahhaa.
Malvo - No issues here, and digging the fact you're mechanically a bard but rp-wise a sergeant knightly type.
Ridill - Crunch looks good (I'd prefer if it was arranged like a conventional statblock but no biggie) and waiting on your appearance/backstory. Although neither are required to start, you can fill those in as we go. A fey-touched nature knight will be a really interesting take in this campaign.
Tornell - Alls well, I love this character.

Alara looks good, and I dig the little plot hook about where the Whispering Way will strike next. Also the first-person background was a fun read.

We've all played together for a while, so you know that I am not the "direct everyone's actions" type, but since Malvo is a military officer, I'm playing him that way. He's taking charge because that's his job ... respond as appropriate to your characters. :-)

Also, I'd like to add my own apologies to the group for Tornell's acerbic behaviour, since a few of us seem to be doing that. Let me know if I'm going a bit too far with him. Question on Ridill's alignment since I never saw a backstory. Ragadahn is a CE deity - you're all trusted players so if you wanna go with that you're absolutely free to. Just want to make sure your character and deity correspond and if there's a different it's accounted for.

Spiderbeard, how big was the shield we found in the altar? You didn't specify if it was a small or large steel shield.
