Skyfall- An Only war story (Completed) (Inactive)

Game Master Solar27

Map of current fight
This is a Warhammer 40K story set on the world of Skyfall, where 5,000 years ago demons and angels warred in the heavens and broke the sky. Now pieces of that war rain down upon the land and you are the Scavanger teams sent to reclaim those pieces of lost technology that might survive, from an area called the Skybreak.

This is your life and it's not an easy one, the Skybreak takes as much as it gives but it gave you hope of better times.

At least it did, until they came

What!?

But while his mouth opens, no words come out.

"What proof can you offer me that you won't go back on your word?"

Davien thinks for a moment before giving a small shrug.

None really sir, except for the fact that we seem to have a dangerous common enemy now, and your aid was crucial in us surviving against them so doing anything to lose that aid would be rather foolish. I know that isn't proof, but its a good reason for us not to break our word. What exactly would you ask for proof?

Let me know how you want to plan this attack, finding an good ambush point with natigation, setting traps with survival or tech use or just anything that you can justify

on the way there, after getting a fair distance away from the camp and before meeting up with the other group. Davien turns to the others.

Apologies for not telling you all sooner. I had not made the connection as to who the man I found was. Nor did I tell the general everything, for I do not know exactly what happened, but... based on my research I fear that I know the reason behind the lord Dominastrum's pallor complexion, and if I am right about that, I worry even more about our relationship with General Hallerman. He pauses for a moment looking to the others.

There is an... entity within the comm tower. I believe it to be the one we encountered. I met it when I went back to investigate the area. I had been researching it as best I could. I believe it to be a deamon of sorts, a being of the warp by what I read. It offers deals for sacrifices, but leaves those that deal with it drained of energy and life unless you know the proper ritual to force its obedience. Or so the books I found said. Unfortunately I have yet to find anything stating on a way to remove this creature. I had planned to tell you all about it after our mission, but now it seems more prudent to say it now, even if it poses a distraction.
