Ignoring the consumables for the moment, I could take the +1 short sword if no one wants it (I currently have a mwk hand ax as my backup weapon), but I'm usually going to be using my fists.

Similarly, I'm considering the +1 spiked light fortification studded leather. It'd drop my AC by 1, but give me spikes and light fortification. But if someone else wants it ...

Holding off on any consumables for the moment, though I might claim some later on.

I've gone ahead and added Pila's attack into this combat, but it brings up something I've not dealt with before.

Alright I emptied out the loot sheet and assigned everyone their gold amounts. I created individual sheets for everyone and this is where I will put the gold you get after the split. I will also copy over items you have claimed so we can keep track of them. If you want to go ahead and add the rest of your gear and any existing gold, it will help to show everyones WBL to give the GM an idea where we are in case he is interested. Otherwise, if you don't want to use it just be sure you track your stuff somewhere.

I also created a Party tab and a Survivor tab so we can keep up with general gear we have kept for anyone in the party to use or stuff the survivors are using like weapons and armor and such. I still need to move the old Party sheet stuff over to the new one and update which survivors have what gear at some point.

I apologize for being absent all week. My schedule has been odd with time at my computer somewhat limited and a project is competing with my time when I do have access to my computer. Still, I've been trying to keep up. Somehow I failed to notice the posts piling up. I'll do better.

I specified which tricks Emil would teach Pila and made animal handling rolls and tracked dates when the tricks would be achieved. Attack was the first on the list but I did not double train her to allow her to attack unnatural beasts. Perhaps her experiences with her previous master as an undead would make her less easily spooked by unnatural creatures.

This post has the details.

My character sheet and the loot sheet are updated. I've removed the steadfast gutstone from my status spoiler, since I assume it's been a week since I used it and its duration is up.

Also, I have a +1 chain shirt (1,250 gp) up for grabs with my change to the spiked leather. If no one wants it (Emil? Jillian?), it can be sold.

I've got 1,000 gp to burn.

GM, I assume you're OK if I get some handwraps? I think I'd like to get mwk wraps (300 gp, 1 sp).

It doesn't really detail how much it would cost to get coins/metal bars on them to give them special materials, but if possible, I wouldn't mind trying to get at least cold iron (and maybe mithral) that I could weave in as needed. Maybe treat those as if I were buying separate brass knuckles of those materials?

I'd like to try to acquire a lesser topping metamagic rod (3000 gp value), since I can't craft those on my own.

I'll send out the word I want one--let me know if/when that is possible.

Also, anyone have any crafting needs? I might make something small for myself (still looking), but should have time to make Wondrous Items for someone else.

I would love a Lesser Rod of Silent Spell, Thael. I think that would pair nicely with my Silence Spell to allow me to give enemy spell casters a really hard time.

Emil has just enough gold to commission the crafting of a Headband of Inspired Wisdom (2000 gp). Time to make: 2 days.

If anyone wants armor or weapons enchanted, Emil can do up to +1 enchantment bonus right now at cost of 1000 gp (for weapons) or 500 gp (for armor) and 1 day time, plus the additional cost of making the item Masterowrk, if it is not already masterwork.

He's going to make his scythe +1 for starters and probably get around to his hammer as well as his shield with future loot.

I suppose we should decide if you are staying and crafting and waiting for the trader to come around or are you hitting the road for the rangers. If you are staying, how long will that be approximately?

I say we wait the day for Emil to do his thing and then have Aubrin or one of the other NPCs handle dealing with the trader if we are not around. With the scouts report Jillian would be anxious to try and find the rangers sooner rather than later to get the group to a safer location.

My thought would be to spend maybe another week here while we send out our scouts. We could craft and potentially have time to trade.

Yeah that sounds like a good plan to me. We don't have to wait in the caves for Father Emil to enchant weapons. He can spend up to 4 hours a day to get half that amount of time for magic item crafting while adventuring. Also masterwork weapon is apparently a druid spell as well so Selde will go ahead and spend 300 gold to slap that on her bow. Marked on Selde's inventory.

I'd say we spend a few days recovering, crafting, and making sure the group is safe.

During the evacuation of the town, we found 150 gp worth of silver dust.
At Gristledown, we found 400 gp worth of silver dust. Emil made one flask of holy water from the first lot. This would leave enough to make 10 holy waters using the Bless Water spell, which is a first level spell so that would take 3 days, since Emil can cast 4 per day. If Selde has Bless Water, she could do some.

I'm assuming the value of the silver dust was lumped into the GP totals, which means we could take 500 gp from the party loot. Or we could do a smaller number and leave the rest for replenishing the supply. It's always good to have a flask of holy water for each PC to deal with undead and haunts. The folks staying in Mistholme could keep some in case they get attacked by undead as well.

Does that sound good?
