My "Table Rules" -
0 - RL > Game. No other rules trump rule 0! :D
1 - I'd like it if everyone posted once a day Mon-Fri. Friday night through Sunday night is eh-whatever (I am in US Eastern Time, for reference). I'll try to post when I can over weekends, but I know people have lives and won't always be online, so no worries.
2 - If you don't post in the middle of an "action" scene for a day, you get skipped once (or botted if your action would be super obvious or you leave a note to me or another player "proxying" your character). If you don't post a second time, you get "botted" by me to do something simple (usually just attack or aid another). If we get into the 3-5 range, I'll probably drop you a line off-list to see what's up. If it goes on too long...well, I hate dropping people from games, but it unfortunately happens :(
3 - When you've got a saving throw to make, roll that first before posting anything else.
4 - Feel free to roll perception and sense motive whenever you want, and if you have a reroll, feel free to use that anytime as well.
5 - Have fun! Rule 5 trumps all other rules! :P

So, I logged in to get this game going, but noticed that only two people have posted their information here. Checking your characters here in the discussion thread is sort of like "attendance" for my games - once you've posted, I know you're ready to go!
With only two people checked in, I can't really start things off...so please do so soon! Once we have at least a legal table, I'll begin in earnest. In the meantime, I'll post a little preamble for those who are ready.

Just fyi, my apartment's comcast "high speed" internet has been down for several hours now, so it's unlikely that I'll be able to post to the game itself tonight. As a further note, this scenario has a lot of "little sandboxes" (so to speak) in it. Because you're being filmed, you can embellish your characters' actions to your heart's content! Every time there is a prompt for checks/actions/reactions, the crowd on Zo!'s ship (including the First Seeker!) will be watching and having reactions of their own - to you! :)
Just FYI - with my local convention starting in about 24 hours, my plan is to make a post in the next couple of hours, and then hopefully another one tomorrow mid-afternoon. After that, I'll be offline until Sunday night at the earliest.

Heads up. The con was fun. I kinda burned the candle at both ends on Friday trying to get ready to go, and then we had a fun time on Saturday. TheDireGM ran great games.
I am not 100% certain on if he is checking or not, but I can say that it is likely he is pretty exhausted from the con (all the pre, actual con and pos con), and when he gets that way it is hard for him to get much but RL immediate important stuff done. Also, I believe he has a trip to see his family in the next couple days, so hopefully the game will be back on after that...

Heya, all. So, pursuant to Hmm's notes about the PbP convention, thanks to all the site outages and such, there is no way we're going to be finished by November 19th. As such, I plan to report the game so we still get counted as part of the con, but we can still edit things afterwards if changes are needed.
As such, this works out as a great time for boon rolls! Everyone has a 10% chance for everyone to win a boon for each table you play or GM! A roll of 19 or 20 wins, and for SFS tables, a 1d2 determines which of the two boons you earn.
To keep things fair, my modus operendii is to roll for everyone at once, in alphabetical order with myself last. So, good luck to all, and here we go!

Just a heads up about this coming week. From Saturday the 17th to Saturday the 24th I might not be able to post too often each day. As my wife and I are going to head to Florida to see her family for Thanksgiving. I will do my best to post probably in the AM sometime, but if things get dropped into a furball (say a combat), the GM has my permission to bot me as he best sees fit.
I suspect this will be the case with many people. I, myself, will be traveling on the 20th until the 24th, but in theory I should be able to make posts from my folks' place. We'll just go slow and steady as we need to! :)
Rahdokama - I just noticed that you never did your "sign in" stuff here. If you get a chance to do this in the next 24 hours or so, it would be a big help. Thanks in advance!

I believe you can get tech out of the main book of your Level+1, so you could get a weapon fusion when you reach level 2. Level+2 if you have it explicitly on a chronicle sheet. If it's on the allowed resources list from another source, like a weapon fusion from the armory book, I think that's limited to your level (although I haven't checked the new version of the Society guide to see if those rules changes).
Gab is correct. Your level or lower from all boons, your level +1 from the Core, or your level +2 for items on your chronicle sheets.
I hope you all enjoyed the game! Each of you need to vote (or, rather, at least 4 of you need to vote, and if you all vote the same we don't need the last two) before I can issue chronicle sheets, but other than that, we're all done! :)
