Kendren casts his spell, protecting his mind from evil thoughts. Then using the air walk spell, he moves over the lava towards the possessed priest. As he goes he calls upon his power to enhance his weapon and ensure he can subdue the priest without hurting him.

Even if he had 100 HP (about what we all have), a crit of 122 points of "non-lethal" damage is enough to kill any of us outright.

And if he started with 100HP, then the first hit didn't drop him, then the second, a crit, kills him. Not much you can do about that.

And as I said, you hit him twice and killed him. He did not die on the first attack, he died on the second. He was a small town priest. You can't very well imagine him to have many HP (under 50).

You recognize it as a Shachath demon, but you don't remember any details beyond that (CE outsider).

If I need to spend a standard action to suppress the merciful ability I put on my weapon with divine bond, then I will spend a mythic point for an extra standard action. The description for merciful says it can be suppressed on command, but not the kind of action it is.

AC is 30, Touch is 17, Flat-footed 28. Resist Fire 20. Saving Throws Fort +15, Reflex +14, Will +13.


Generally a command to a magic item is a standard action.

The demon dies, but before it does "Yes, I will still laugh. I lose this shell, but I will still have his soul. "

Breath of life is able to keep the priest alive.

Whats up with the smoky crystal?


"I seem to be much better than I thought i would be. " as he seems to have fairly minor remaining injuries.

The big crystal seems to be a sort of tomb, and there is a figure inside dressed in armor, bearing a bow.
