No problem, we can bot you buddy!
Ezrek runs into the room and grapples the giant two headed dire fiendish porcupine swarm.

I am out of town this weekend on my kids fall break. I can't access the map from my mobile, so I am at a loss of a course of action.
'sall good, weekend posts are just a bonus anyway. I took a screenshot of the map for a simple picture if that's at all helpful for you.
Also my game today got canceled from lack of players so I'll be home painting minis today instead.

I wanted to get a ruling on something from the GM, as my planned action isn't quite clear by RAW, and I can't find any clear answer about it.
If I use Reach Metamagic to alter a communal spell, like Communal Protection From Evil, can I still deliver to my multiple targets but at range Close instead? My interpretation seems like you can, but I wanted to get your opinion before I post my action for the turn.

This'll be my second time GMing Bonekeep 1, My 5th time Gming Waking Rune (this pbp is my 4th) and my 3rd time GMing Siege of the Diamond City. (This last year I've gotten into super prepping things and then running them repeatedly)
I haven't played Bonekeep 1 and am not really sure I'll ever get a good chance, and I'm so far unfamiliar with Bonekeep2 but will get a chance to play it this weekend at Gamehole Con in Madison

When I played Bonekeep 1 at GenCon, I didn't have a group to play with. While talking to a V.O., he told me about a group of five Lvl 4's needing a sixth. I had a Level 5, so I figured, hey, low tier, should be OK! When I got to the table and asked what classes were being played....all pregens! Of course my level 5 had 2 levels of terra-cotta monk with trap-spotting, so I was nominated to lead. Fortunately we all survived, but did not finish the entire complex due to running out of time. We avoided the central room and missed the "lower" corer and back. Funny enough, since they were playing pregens, the other guys would rush in, while my PC (whose other three levels are in sorcerer) would sit back and chuck spells, though there was some grappling at first. (Whoever has played it should know what I'm talking about.)
Too bad about the table requirement or I would run it for you Rob.

Getting ready to fly home. If my turn comes up today, continue to have elemental attack.
Otherwise,mIf we get to the point of opening the crypt, Hugo will buff by activating his rune tattoo, inspiring word, death ward, and casting silence on coffin from a scroll. He has adamantine axe if anyone needs to hack emerald or coffin he can loan. If any rounds remain on elem have it grapple occupant of coffin if one emerges.
I should be available tomorrow.

Since it looks like we are just waiting for something to come out of the coffin, I'm going to list buffs. Ezrek has a haste and an elarge person to hand out. He'll take another Haste, Shield, as well as his Dex Mutagen, Cat's Grace and Bomber's Eye as time allows. Also have an Earth Elemental Gem, but do not speak Terran.

Hugo will likewise activate his tatoo, then divine favor. The last action will be to cast silence from scroll - either on the wolf or the casket. With any luck there are still a couple rounds of the air elem which remains ready at the side of the coffin waiting for it to open.

![]() |

Agreed. Putting silence on Romulus makes good sense... provided the GM will still allow Fletch to direct the silenced wolf to attack.
Herr GM?

![]() |

If not, then silence on something removable. Like tied to collar or a carried item might be better.

there is a little known rule on page 174 of the CRB:
Ineffective Weapons:
Certain weapons just can't effectively deal damage to certain objects. For example, a bludgeoning weapon cannot be used to damage a rope. Likewise, most melee weapons have little effect on stone walls and doors, unless they are designed for breaking up stone, such as a pick or hammer.
While as a player I naturally loathe and detest any rule that stops me from breaking the game, as a GM, I will now sing your praises because that is a rule I've wished for many, many times! Thank you, sir!

I apologize about my slow posting recently. My work duties have increased significantly over the last few weeks, and I don't have nearly as much time to check the boards anymore. I'll keep popping in to finish this out, but I just wanted to apologize now for my slow progress for the remainder of the scenario.
