About Kwen

Kwen lost his parents when he was only five years old, by a wasting sickness, or so he was told. In fact he barely remembers the men who came to kill his parents, they were a group called: The Crimson Rose. He was raised by his 'uncle' who was in fact the leader of the order, that was the way they recruited new members to their order. Trained in the way of being not only a rogue, but specializing in taking jobs as assassins. All the while the order worked at indoctrinating Kwen as the years went by, Kwen looked into the order's records and found out the truth after receiving a brand that he had to burn into his forearm of a rose. Kwen managed to keep a better moral compass then others, something keep driving him to find the truth of what had happened to his parents.
Once Kwen had gathered all the information he decided to leave the order and get some revenge in the process. One of the other recruits who was also a half elf tried to kill Kwen in an attempt for better assignments. Kwen survived and used the Karmithdor's body as cover, using poisons and other flammable liquids; he burned down the keep, and killed a number of other members of the Crimson Rose.
Since then Kwen has spent a number of years learning how to survive on his own, not trusting too many people and losing the tip of his ear in his first year due to another's betrayal.
In the last few years he has started to hire himself out as a "Free Agent" enjoying the thrill of locks and a curiosity of what could be in other's coin purses. Kwen keeps his tools in better care, then his weapons and will at times forgo eating to make sure he has the tools he thinks he could need.
Kwen has run into trouble with one of the local guilds, as they are not too pleased that Kwen doesn't want to join. He offered to give them a peace offering so they would leave him alone for a while... He missed that dead line by a month not out of malice, his luck hasn't been the best.
Kwen does worship Brittlebane, not as well as he could, but he has spent a few nights there in the past.
