When we return to Oleg's Tirnel will want to craft:
Pearl of Power-1st; 500 GP
Cloak of Resistance +1; 500 GP
Amulet of Natural Armor +1; 1,000 GP (assuming he can find someone that can cast barkskin)
The above would take about 2 days to craft.

Not sure if any of those would be of use to the rest of the party but Milo would definitely want a cloak and amulet as well.

Please bot Quinray and Randtam.
I am very busy with other things right now. Sorry.

Back Sunday with poignant and gibberish posts.
R & Q

DM Darkvision |

Tirnel,
1. Who is casting barkskin for your amulets?
2. To create magic items, spellcasters use special feats which allow them to invest time and money in an item’s creation. At the end of this process, the spellcaster must make a single skill check (usually Spellcraft, but sometimes another skill) to finish the item. If an item type has multiple possible skills, you choose which skill to make the check with. The DC to create a magic item is 5 + the caster level for the item. Failing this check means that the item does not function and the materials and time are wasted. Failing this check by 5 or more results in a cursed item.
Need to make your creation rolls for each item created:
Amulet = DC8
Pearl = DC6
Cloak = DC8
Should be easy based on your spellcraft but if you roll a 1, you failed and lose your money.

Good thing I had brought this up earlier (the barkskin issue)! :D
No idea if anyone we have encountered at Oleg's or in our travels would cast barksin for us. I'm thinking the priest of Erastil-Jhod or maybe Bokken?

Tirnel Stargazer |

Pearl = DC6
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Cloak = DC8
Ibram: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
Kentaur: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
Milo: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31
Tirnel: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
Amulet = DC8 (if I can find someone to cast barkskin)
Milo: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Tirnel: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

DM Darkvision |

1 is just a fail, item not created, your gold wasted.
However, I will humor you and your 20:
Milo's cloak also provides resist energy cold 5.
Since Jhod is a cleric of Erastil I will let him have the plant domain and he will cast barkskin for you.
What a nice DM. Or perhaps I am just pumping you all up before the TPK!
How is Tirnel affording his 3 items at 2000gp if you only have 1835gp each?

Tirnel Stargazer |

Sweet! That probably just means we will only be fighting fire or electrical based energy attacks moving forward. :)
Can't wait for the TPK, I was thinking about rolling up a summoner...
Tirnel 'borrowed' the GP from Milo and I actually have -165 GP written on his (Tirnel's) sheet.

Tirnel Stargazer |

It's funny you posted that as I was contemplating roleplaying Tirnel demanding an 'offering' to Yuelra that would cost his companions 75% of the cost instead of 50% but then decided that I would instead roleplay him as thrilled to craft. It is his passion and an extension of the time he spent learning to be a bowyer. Now he can apply his magical studies as an extension of his crafting passion.

Flank if possible
LB: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 2 = 24
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
sneak: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6
Flank if possible
LB: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 9 - 2 = 21
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
sneak: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

That looks cool, when's it going to start.

Quinray Quantreant |

Have had issues getting in to the site. Will mot even let me access...web page stopped. Not resign in agiain.

Maqej Lek |

me too

Quinray Quantreant |

half elves are multitalented and can add a skill or hit point at each level taken in favored classes. Adding 3 HP to total.

Balator |

cheater!

Tirnel Stargazer |

Elixir of Armor +1 (allows you to permanently change one non-magic armor to +1 armor)
Elixir of Armor +1
Elixir of Weapon +1 (allows you to permanently change one non-magic weapon to +1 weapon)
Elixir of Weapon +1
Handy Haversack
If Kentaur is planning on keeping the dwarven breastplate he should use an elixir of armor on it.
Same for Quinray and his mithral chain shirt. If he is going to keep his rapier he should take a weapon elixir and Milo should take the other for his falchion.
Not sure about the haversack.

Quinray Quantreant |

Going out of town until Friday.

Quinray Quantreant |

Quinray can use both elixirs.
Milo should use his also.
Tirnel should get the Haversack.

Maqej Lek |

All good for me

Quinray Quantreant |

I am open also for Different dates on IRL. Let me know.
Just making sure I am not the guy who stopped playing our game. I have seen no activity n our boards.

Quinray Quantreant |

GO JON GO!!!!
New character will be barbarian cleric!
New character will be unchained rogue cleric

Balator |

My phone died and will not charge so was unable to post until now, back in SD.

Balator |

7/29 or 8/26 should work for me

Maqej Lek |

Pat said he's good with the 26th. So 8/26 it is...

Quinray Quantreant |

Apoligies. My misunderstanding or inability,to play a rogue in front should not be in gameplay. I am struggling when I open a door and fall to my death. Thought I had a certain skill set but apparently do not.
Looking at character progression and I need to take things just to stay alive. Not 10 levels later. Which makes it cool for me but may hurt the entire group in the end.
Best example. Second level Dornamic looks at his friend Carowyn. "You sure can RUN fast. Get away!!!" At the time the best feat choice ever.:)

Tirnel Stargazer |

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/unchained-classes/rogue-unchained
"Trapfinding
A rogue adds 1/2 her level on Perception checks to locate traps and on Disable Device checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps."
So to speed things up you could post to use any perception roll also as a locate traps roll and just note the amount to add to the roll for the locate trap action.
Example:
"Quinray survey's the room before advancing.
perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33 +1 to locate traps."

Quinray Quantreant |

I cannot stop laughing. Thanks Milo and the minus 53. Sorry.
Never open a door in this camaign. It is painful unto death.
