Ibram lands a pair of devastating strikes. The first blow chops open a large rent in her shoulder, his second blow hammers the same spot slicing down through her chest and into her black heart!

Her lifeless body slumps to the ground, her scimitars fading away to nothing.

The trolls stand dumbfounded.

Using Kentaur's dimension door and Tirnel's time stutter the rest of the party jaunts back to Ibram's location just in time to see him hack down they felonious fey!

There are still about 80-90 trolls present. Four of them seem to be having an animated discussion over what to do.

While this is going on a pair of lightly armored scouts of the March approach at a quick trot longbows in hand. They both salute Ibram and the older one, breathing hard, offers a report to Ibram. “Your majesty, the Fort Milo militia and the Hand will arrive momentarily.”

"Umm, the Lady Svetlana of course. Begging your pardon your Majesty, but you look like you've been through it, did one of these trolls ring your bell?"

You can now here the sounds of the militia approaching.

Ibram looks at Tirnel questioningly

A mature looking female troll moves forward alone, stopping about 30' from the King and addresses him.

"The nymph queen used us. Her magic bent our minds. By killing her you have freed us from enthrallment. We do not belong here. Our lands are far away, we will leave and will not return. Your lands we will not harm."

All the trolls leave.

Well, that's one less thing to worry about. They definitely didn't cover this in paladin school. Heh,heh.

Lady Svetlana walks up as the trolls depart and Ibram questions Tirnel.

"Well this might be a first, Lord Tirnel at a loss for words, might be I will have to cook him a special meal and he will be his old self again! My my Ibram, you look like hell, what have you been up to? Whatever it was must have been interesting, how did you convince the trolls to leave?"

Tears well up in Ibram's eyes, he rushes forward and wraps Svetlana in a big hug. He turns and toussles Kentaur's hair, winks at Kieran and says I think Tirnel's saving it up for a really big explanation. Hahaha, I can't wait!

Ibram is like a young lad again, his spirit is overjoyed at the return of his friends and subjects. He bounces around and greets each watch member by name, grinning like a great fool as he does it. Grilk, great to see you. How's your wife? Boon, you gotta get that growth looked at or you'll never get a wife. By Erastil, it is good to see you Frond...

Kentaur grumbles, straightens his hair, than smiles as he looks at Svetlana You are a sight for sore eyes. As soon as Tirnel starts speaking, you'll understand a bit more.

Turns and kicks Tirnel in the shins. The Lady's waiting, ya daft dunderhead! By Abadar's beard, Elves are slow.

Tirnel recovers from the shock of seeing Ibram victorious over the Kingdom's primary nemesis and a horde of retreating trolls, plus the sudden appearance of so many he had thought lost. His mind retreats into an analytical shell focusing only on the problem statement at hand.

One must surmise that Briar was somehow able to not only transport us somewhere, but some-WHEN. Nyrissa revealing her power on the prime material plane must have brought the First World closer to our realm, allowing a mix and surge of magical energies thus resulting in the time-teleport jump we have just experienced. How about a meal Svetlana? I find myself suddenly very hungry....

Svetlana gives Tirnel a big hug!
