Ta'ruk follows behind and breathes a sigh of relief when Simon discovers the pit trap ahead. He moves to the edge and peers down to see what terrible fate was waiting for him. He looks to see if it possible to climb down, cross, and then climb up the other side or if they need to find another way across.

Skiron bids one cube move forward; when it falls into the pit, he bids the other move on top of it as the previous continues moving across for as long as it can; he watches in fascinated glee.

Those behind Simon see him stop suddenly in the hallway and examine the wall. To Skiron, who I believe is closest, he points to the outline as he examines it and says, "Hidden door."

Simon: There are no traps on the door, inside this chamber resembles some kind of burial chamber or funeral site. There are several rotting sofas, throne like chairs, urns, braziers and vases.
The place seems to have been looted at some point in the past. 6 large trunks lie broken and empty but there are many smaller iron coffers, scattered about that seem to still be locked.
Both the east and west wall features large tapestries depicting underwater scenes. There is also a doorway in the northeast corner of the room.

Skiron turns away from the tapestries, a bit disappointed, and picks up one of the iron coffers and attempts to open it.

Skiron looks at the coffers scattered about the floor, and the gold in his hand, and a nervous tic emerges on his normally expressionless face.
"This is too easy - let's get out of here!"
He speeds toward the secret door, and bids his cube sweep up the remaining coffers before following.

At Skiron's alert, Jeneva is quick to move through the room and out the secret door, following on the heels of the alchemist and his remaining ooze. She keeps her weapon in hand as the group descends down the next revealed hallway, following along behind Skiron and Simon and expecting something - anything, at this point - to leap out or pop up and attack. The dancer's eyes twitch back and forth, scanning the walls and floor, as if wary of every stone and symbol to be an attack or trap in waiting.

Ta'ruk moves up to the pit trap and peers down. "Hmmm, how deep is it do you think? I wonder if we can use one of those old rotting couches in the last room as some sort of make shift bridge we can use to get across. We either span a corner. or drop one in, to use as a stepping stone. I suggest we try the hallway on the left first."

Skiron's cube deposits the coffers it collected somewhere safe, and Skiron collects them, stowing most but opening one more to see if its contents are any different from the first.

I'm ok where I am at. But the office where I work is closed due to flooding. There is about 3.5 of water surrounding it, but hopefully not in the building.
Ta'ruk begins dumping debris into the pit trap to make it easier to cross. When he is done, he heads down the hallway to the left. Keeping a wary eye out for danger.

Skiron: All these coffers contain the same stuff. I am going to assume the last cube disappears as you pass through the secret door.
The countdown was how many rounds you had before an earthquake hit the room, turning those 2 tapestries into 10' x 20' green slime.
Ta'ruk: I filled in the pit on the map, When you say you are going left. You mean north? You will have no issues making it to the door.

Ta'ruk picks himself up and brushes the dust off. He looks at the boulder in their way. "Is there way around this thing? If not let's try out one of the other hallways. This time, however, I'll let one you more perceptive folks lead the way. My method of trap detection may not be the safest."
