Ah, that would be a task for another one-shot character of mine, a cerebral (but still quite mighty) samurai in a Runequest game who effectively defeated a mujina by achieving a critical defense against its maddening gaze attack.

Rosa talks like this, all very reusable, helpful even. You understand you have to be educated, punishment is not enough, what you have to do acceptance of your fate, happily, gleeful and go to your end knowing its what you need to make you better.
