Skiron ducks into the adjacent corridor, and his servitor lets go of the boulder, leaping upward to cling to the ceiling, when the way is clear.

Simon Demarkus |

Simon check door in East and North Doors for traps and/or locks.
East
Perception: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (11) + 23 = 34
North
percep 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (11) + 23 = 34
Moving to the south door is the boulder completely blocking the passage?
Edit: I promise I did not copy and paste those rolls. I typed them individually.

DMTFY |

Simon: You find no traps on the east and north door and neither is locked.
However you do discover a trap(not trapped) door on the floor just on the other side of the northern door.
I have marked it on the map.
The boulder is completly blocking access to the southern door.
The last thing I am worried about is you cheating.

Ta'ruk |

"Whew, no more traps for awhile. Since the norther door is trapped, it may be holding something important. Let's knock out the east door first to make sure nothing gets the drop on us, and then once its cleared, head back to the Northern door." Ta'ruk opens the eastern door and peers inside.

Simon cautiously proceeds down the hallway looking for traps until he can peer around the corner.

DMTFY |

Simon: There are no traps in the corridor, at the end is what appears to be an opening to a natural cavern. Beyond a roughly circular opening of uncarved stone is a thick veil of silvery mist with occasional threads of gold. The mist is opaque beyond a few feet but you can hear the sound of water splashing quietly against rock.
I have revealed the entire cavern, keep in mind you can only see 10' ahead

![]() |

Skiron's Lurker Above slides across the ceiling past the party and into the fog.
So what happens to it? Any skill checks that might apply to this spectacle? Would Simon or Ta'ruk care to detect magic?

![]() |

Skiron laughs hysterically for a few seconds.
"Of course, of course! What happened?!? Can anyone see?"

Simon takes a deep breath and raises his head. When he exhales he lowers his head and intense light radiates from his eyes, mouth, and face. It streaks out in a beam of bright sunlight towards the creature.
Sunbeam SLA. I'd like to target the 60' line to cross the banshee's path, but preferably not my companions if possible. I don't think banshees are specifically harmed by bright light, but if they are let me know. Other stuff happens. Might actually be blinded too if such a thing is possible with undead.

Simon: You will notice she has a distinct dislike of your light spell
Your spell says it does double damage against undead and she has sunlight powerlessness. so not a good thing for her
Skiron: In her weakened state she screams(not wails) in pain from the assault of force missiles hitting her.

Skiron's creatures advance into the mist, Skiron himself a few paces behind them.
"Pretty laaady, come ouuut..."
The nagas ready actions to blast the banshee with magic missiles as soon as she shows back up, and Skiron takes a full defensive stance.

Simon Demarkus |

Simon moves up slightly, Casts Daylight on a small pebble, and throws it as hard as he can to the other side of the room.
The daylight spell won't hurt her, but my hope is she might not initially realize that and run away from it toward us. Regardless, it may make it easier to see in the room.
Mirror images: 7

DMTFY |

Simon: You hear your pebble hit stone and then you hear the "kerplunk" as it hits water. The silver and gold threads in the fog stand out a little more against the background of gray.
Skiron: The fog is thick and you and the nagas are up to your knees in water. (Vision is reduced to 5')
Ta'ruk: You do know that from 45' away it is impossible to see the cavern yes? In order to see the mists you must be within 10' Do you wish to be 10' away?
This ends Rd 3.

Skiron and his minions continue their cautious advance.
We move a bit, and keep the same actions as last round. Recall that I've got protection from Evil for the next several minutes.
