Cyrdic Forthill |

Nodding a bit, Cyrdic stands up. "Lead the way, let's do this. Everyone, good luck. Hopefully when all this is over, this ship'll be a bit of a nicer place."

Cyrdic Forthill |

I was kinda under the impression that it was later...seeing as I went to sleep in my last post. My bad.

Slickjaw |

Okay. Makes sense. RYNJIN. Do any of the pirates want any weapons? If so, tell me and we'll just say Slick got them before going to sleep. Also, has Plugg been assigning people to watch?
At roughly one O'clock, Slickjaw wakes up and goes to wake the others.

Rynjin |

They should still have cutlasses from the boarding. Pretty hard to disarm a pirate when you've armed them, especially when you want to keep half of them armed anyway.
And ya should've asked about guards earlier. =)
The group enacts their plan, stealing through the night. The upper deck appears to be unguarded, save for Owlbear standing watch outside Plugg's door.
Sneaky sneaky/talky talky?

Cyrdic Forthill |

Cyrdic moves out into the open slightly, so that Owlbear can see that it's him. Before Owlbear can say anything, he speaks just loud enough that Owlbear can hear him-"Owlbear, I need you to be very, very quiet. Don't make a noise, okay? I need you to come over here very quietly, and then you can play with your crabs if you want. But you have to be very very quiet-don't talk or make a sound. Can you do that? Shhh, buddy. Shhhh."
Please be quiet, Owlbear, please...oh Besmara help us.

Rynjin |

Owlbear puts his hands to his lips with a great big smile and loudly goes "Shhhhhhh!" as he shuffles to the side of the deck as Slickjaw sneaks in.

Slickjaw |

Slickjaw checks if he can see any traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Assuming he sees nothing, he stealthily approaches Plugg.
Stealth: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (13) + 25 = 38
He then checks for traps again.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Rynjin |

Plugg continues to snore away, oblivious to the small goblin, moving like a shadow through his quarters.
Oh, I forgot to make this clear, Owlbear doesn't go very far, really. He's chained to the wall and can only move about 15 feet in any given direction.

Cyrdic Forthill |

Oh, he's chained to the wall...what the hell. As soon as Plugg's dead, we're getting him out of there. Let's just hope Slickjaw's okay, he's sure as hell sneaky, but if Plugg gets ahold of him...he should just hurry up already. Cyrdic looks around to make sure they're still alone in the hall, then looks at Lucy and raises his eyebrow, wordlessly asking if she's okay.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Lucretia Ivera GM Substitute |

Lucy catches Cyrdic's glance and nods, also in silence.
She then freezes, as Fipps opens the door to the Officer's Quarters and sleepily stumbles up the deck.
He doesn't appear to notice anyone as of yet as he stomps his way to te erailing and unties his trousers, letting loose a golden stream into the ocean below as he rubs his bleary eyes with one hand.

Cyrdic Forthill |

Crap, just we needed...Fipps. Where the hell is Slickjaw?
Cyrdic tries to hear if anything's going on in Plugg's cabin.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
...Nothing. Not sure if that's good or not. And I'm sure as hell not going in to check.

Rynjin |

Plugg takes the dagger to the throat, and his eyes shoot open, filled with rage.
Fort save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
With surprising speed he tumbles out of his hammock and draws his sword.
Dex check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
"YOU!" he screeches, almost incoherent, and swings his cutlass at Slickjaw.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
1d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
7 damage to Slickjaw.
I don't believe I ever provided a picture of Plugg. Here, have one.
On the deck, Fipps turns around with a bleary "Huh?", spilling piss all over the deck around him.
"Wha's goin' on?" he says, noticing Cyrdic, Lucy, and Owlbear.
Initiatives, pls.

Cyrdic Forthill |

Cyrdic jumps a little at the shriek coming from inside, then mentally sighs a bit at the commotion coming out of the room. Well, this could've gone better. Looking at Lucy with raised eyebrows, he turns back to Fipps and wearily says "Nothing, we're...dude, you're getting piss freaking everywhere. Over the side, buddy. Over the side."
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Rynjin |

Honestly? I was hoping to avoid using the lighting rules for anything other than pitch black because they just get confusing a lot of the time (especially when it comes to drawing battle maps, which will happen later). It's a bit of a double edged sword or boon here. It can impact your enemies, and you equally. On the one hand, it nullifies one of the advantages of low-light and your Darkvision (though leaves the others intact), but on the other it means everybody else in the party isn't going to have to roll 20% concealment every time you're in a cave, unlit building, or outside at night, though true your enemies will gain that boon as well.
I've never really used those rules because A.) I don't like them a whole lot and B.) I've NEVER used them (every GM I've played under has handwaved them similar to this way) and so often forget they even exist. If y'all want to use them, I can implement them from here on out, but if you have no preference I'll leave it be.

Slickjaw |

Spitting with fury, Slickjaw flips out, hurling two flasks of alchemical fire at Plugg (one, if they don't stack) as he exits the cabin and gets as far from the door as possible. He also triggers his regeneration.
There was a glitch with roll saving when I refreshed after Rynjin's post, but the too-hit comes out as a 15 or something.
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Rynjin |

I made a goof. Plugg didn't hit Slickjaw because he couldn't have drawn and swung as he got out of the hammock, only drawn (it's not an actual movement, just a Move action). My bad. Ignore that part, Slickjaw add back those 7 HP.
Plugg roars in pain and anger as the vial of fire hits him in the face.
Rubbing his eyes he notices Slickjaw slip around the corner, and charges out as well, coming out right behind Cyrdic and Owlbear.
"Owlbear, ye idiot, GET THEM!" he roars, and turns his back on the friendly simpleton, scanning the area fro Slickjaw.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Not finding him, he looks around some more, and notices Cyrdic standing there next to his door.
"What are ye doin' on deck after hours, eh!?!?" he screeches, half insane with rage, and pushes Cyrdic, shoving him toward the railing.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Cyrdic, you are pushed back 5 feet. You are now 5 feet away from the boat, and 10 feet away from the railing behind it.
You're up unless Ace rolls higher.

Slickjaw |

For when my turn comes around since I'll be gone tonight and exhausted tomorrow.
Slickjaw bolts out of hiding to stab at Plugg's weak spots.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Damage: 1d3 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (1) = 4
If anyone can do some sort of combat maneuver to him to cripple him - like stabbing out his eyes or hamstringing him or whatever, do it. I've got a bad CMB, so I won't try.
Also, if Plugg dropped his weapon, get it out of his reach.

Cyrdic Forthill |

Sorry guys, I've been sick for the past few days and I've basically been tied up in bed.
Cyrdic summons his soulknife, scoots forward a bit and swings as hard as he can at Plugg.
Outrage + Power Attack
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Damage (If Applicable): 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 6) + 10 = 17

Rynjin |

S'cool. I've been kinda busy for the last few days anyway.
Cyrdic hits Plugg as hard as he can, psychic blade digging deeply into his shoulder, just below the neck.
Plugg reels back, but otherwise does not react to the blow.
Fipps gapes at the scene and runs to the other side of the deck, screaming at the top of his lungs and banging on the door to teh officer's quarters.
"Mutiny! Mutiny on the deck! Them troublemakers is attacking the Cap'n!"
Soon afterwards, a stream of pirates pours out onto the deck, the whole crew, friends and foes alike drawn by the noise, either as an alarm or a signal for action.
Lucy leading the charge, your loyal crew members stall most of the rest of the crew, save Scourge who races to Plugg's side, drawing his wicked looking handaxe as he does so.
"I knew ye was trouble the moment I laid eyes on ye! Keep yer 'ands off Cap'n Plugg!" he screams, preparing for battle, and trying to cover his master.
Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
On the other side of the deck, the battle rages. Lucy laying into the enemy with abandon, ripping into people with her giant blade, Riza calmly standing at a distance, slashing at the enemy with her elongated pike, Kroop darting in at opportune times, hamstringing people with his cleaver so that batter fighters can finish them off, and everyone doing their part to wipe the other side off the face of the earth.
I will be resolving all of these mini combats later, but not at the moment.

Aaron Drachmen |

Owlbear looks from Plugg to Cyrdic, torn between his friendship with Cyrdic and his great fear of Plugg.
"Cyrdic, what do I do?" he asks, putting his fate in his friend's hands.
Owlbear delays until he's given orders. Talking is a Free action you can take even when it's not your turn, so basically just make a post whenever.
Just to clarify, Plugg's action takes place after everything else, and Owlbear's cry for orders and Slickjaw's actions. It's Ace's turn now, barring Owlbear un-delaying at any point between his own "action" and Ace's turn, which he will do so if Cyrdic tells him to do something.
Slickjaw
Plugg
Scourge
Ace
Cyrdic
Owlbear
Plugg: 29
Scourge: 0

Cyrdic Forthill |

Cyrdic's eyes narrow dangerously. "Owlbear...you don't have to be afraid of them anymore. We're gonna make them pay. If you want...you can help."

Rynjin |

Yes. You're flanking with Cyrdic.
'Kay. I believe we've reached the point already where a battlemap is a necessity. I'm going to be making an S&S Roll20 game, and invite y'all to it so I can put maps in detail up.

Slickjaw |

While you do that...
Slickjaw shanks Plugg again before withdrawing to his hiding place under the boat (assuming that they are distracted enough to attempt sneak).
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage: 1d3 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + (3) + 1 = 6

Rynjin |

Plugg reels, bleeding profusely, and comes to his senses.
He screams in fear and begins running away, towards the starboard boat, screaming behind him.
"Scourge, get over here and release this last knot, we need to go!"
Withdraw action, meaning he doesn't provoke from Slickjaw or Owlbear, but he leaves another of Cyrdic's squares on the way.
2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 1) + 10 = 15
Unfortunately, Plugg doesn't make it far. Cyrdic whips around and shoves his sword through the man's neck, dropping him to the ground. He's still breathing, but only barely.
Scourge stares at Plugg's body, dismayed.
"Ye've killed 'im!" Scourge cries. After a moment, he speaks again "Wait a minute..."
Diving to the ground beside Plugg, he goes through his pockets, digging through them until he finds what he needs.
"Aha!" he shouts, pulling out a vial, which he promptly shoves into Plugg's mouth.
2d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 1) + 3 = 9
But to little avail. Plugg looks slightly better, but is still down for the count.

Cyrdic Forthill |

As his blade drives deep into Plugg's neck, Cyrdic lets out a savage scream of exultation as blood gushes over him. "Hey Slickjaw, take notes-THAT'S how you slit a guy's throat!" Then, turning to Scourge, he points his slightly glowing, blood-drenched blade at him and yells "GET HIM!!!" at the top of his voice. As he begins to run back into the fray, he calls back to Owlbear-"Owlbear, feel free to bash Plugg on the head some more if you want to!"

Rynjin |

To clarify, Plugg is down, not dead. The reason I made a separate post for Cyrdic's AoO was because I'd already made a roll in that post, that later I realized Scourge didn't need to/couldn't make it anyway, and I didn't want to shaft Cyrdic by giving him that roll.
