TheGuyKnownAsAce |

Ace follows immediately behind Cyrdic
ranged attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
I assume I need the same throws as Cyrdic
climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
After some struggling, Ace climbs onto the deck, and gets in formation with Cyrdic.

Rynjin |

Ace arrives at the end of round 3/6. Doesn't really matter all that much to be honest. I think from now we'll just call it round 3, counting from the time Slickjaw was ready. If y'all had any buffs you wanted to throw up, assume you had 3 rounds to do so.
Cyrdic hops up on the Aft deck and shouts at the pirates, brandishing his blade in an intimidating fashion at one of them, who is suitably shaken by his posturing.
His friend looks on in contempt, and rushes at Cyrdic, his friend not far behind him. The lead sailor locks his fist into his left palm and catches Cyrdic in the solar plexus with his elbow, sending him flying backwards!
Cyrdic lands in the water, about 5 feet away from the boat. Hungry sharks circle the man, and one decides to take a bite out of him!
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Smells Good Yum: 2d3 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
Om Nom Nom: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Hurty Bitey Ow: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
12 damage to Cyrdic. I would suggest NOT being in the water next round or it could get nasty.
Ace gets on deck about the same time as Cyrdic flies backwards off of it.
Luckily for you, their Readied actions both triggered on "first available target", so you actually get to roll Initiative before you get jumped.

Cyrdic Forthill |

Cyrdic was so busy wondering to himself about what exactly 'gum' was, or what it could be, that he didn't even notice the sailor coming at him until he was in the water and being mauled by a shark. Understandably, this freaked him out a bit. He tries to swim back to the ship and climb back up.
Swim: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Cyrdic Forthill |

Cyrdic clambers back onto the deck and shakes himself off a bit. Looking at the man who punched him off the ship, he makes a mental note to go for him first.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Slickjaw |

Grinning madly, Slickjaw sneakily slithers into the hold of the other ship.
I auto-pass stealth checks, and need no cover or concealment to make them with blend (17 rounds left, I believe).
Once he's down there, he takes a look around for any valuables.

Rynjin |

Ooh, forgot something.
As Ace, Slickjaw, and Cyrdic finally make it onto (or back onto, in one case) the ship, the mists part for a moment.
Captain Harrigan, Scourge, and Krine charge across the ship, hacking and slashing their way across the deck to the captain's cabin.
The three see one of the sailors silently sneaking up on Harrigan, pulling back his arm for a killing blow...
Do anything?

Slickjaw |

Slickjaw, with lethal accuracy, hurls a dagger - his custom one, with "Slickjaw" on one side of the blade and "Your Name" on the other - at the sailor behind Harrigan.
To hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Rynjin |

Slickjaw drops out of his stealthy camouflage and throws the dagger. It twirls end over end through the air before finally burying itself in the sailor's shoulder.
Immediately afterwards he catches a burning glob of acid in the back.
He screams in pain, and Harrigan whips around, stabbing with his short sword as he does so, impaling the man before he has a chance to react, twisting the blade and then ripping it out again as the dead sailor drops to the floor.
Harrigan looks up at Slickjaw and Ace, and nods in appreciation before turning back to his actions.
That leaves Cyrdic with the only action this round, unless Lucy pops up somewhere.

TheGuyKnownAsAce |

Ace uses the force mage hand to grab the dagger, and hovers it back to the little goblin, and tosses it to him, smiling calmly.
Then proceeds to scan the area for enemies.

Cyrdic Forthill |

As Cyrdic saw the enemy sailor being felled by the combined efforts of his mates and the captain, he felt a rush of satisfaction. If anyone's gonna kill that son of a b~$+!, it's going to be me. Jerk had it coming. And speaking of jerks... Cyrdic resummons his mind blade into his standard two-handed position and swings at the soldier who originally punched him off.
Outburst.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage (If Applicable): 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (1, 3) + 8 = 12

Slickjaw |

Slickjaw realizes that going where he was supposed to go is silly, and heads down - stealthily - into the cargo hold.
Also, he decides now would be a good time to try that thing he'd been working on, and with a slight hiss, Slickjaw feels his wounds close partially (Spontaneous Regeneration).

Rynjin |

That's how much healing? 5 points I think?
Cyrdic lashes out with a mighty cleave at the sailor who pushed him off, and the mind blade bites deeply into his shoulder, nearly cutting all the way down to his heart.
The man falls to the ground, gasping and bleeding, knowing he is doomed.
Lucyyyy. Where are you?

Slickjaw |

Was in communication with Rynjin for this post.
Slickjaw observes a two lockers and a chest in the room. A dart trap on one locker and the chest... that doesn't make sense. They'd trap all three of them.
Slickjaw goes to work, disabling the traps on the locker and chest.
Take10 autosucceeds.
He then repeats the process - necessary or not - on the last locker.
And then he unlocks them all to see what's inside.

Rynjin |

Sadly, you cannot Disable something you don't know for certain is there.
Slickjaw unlocks the last locker, and an arrow pops out! It buries itself deeply into Slickjaw's shoulder.
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
6 damage to Slickjaw. Down to 5, I think?
He opens up the lockers and chest and sees a number of things.
-4 potions (3 in Locker 1, 1 in Locker 2)
-A shortsword (glowing, in Locker 2)
-An amulet (in Locker 1)
-A large sum of gold (exact count would take quite a bit of time, but an eyeball estimate is at around 3000. In the chest)
So what do you take?
1d6 ⇒ 1

Slickjaw |

I'll probably be pretty busy on saturday, so I'll just do the item stuff now.
First, Slickjaw attempts to identify the 4 potions.
Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Then, he checks out the sword to see if he can determine if it believes in magic.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6d6d1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + (16, 11, 2, 7, 4, 18, 4, 14, 7, 17, 6, 1, 16, 2, 19, 15) + 6 = 178
[ooc]How much gold can Slickjaw easily carry?[/dice]

Rynjin |

Slickjaw gets crackin' on finding out what the items are.
The first 3 potions are potions of Cure Moderate Wounds.
The last is a potion of Invisibility, which Slickjaw is very excited to see.
The sword is a +1 shortsword.
And the amulet is an enigma!

Slickjaw |

Slickjaw takes the sword and the invisibility potion. I'm sure Lucy will like that sword... Heh heh heh.
After a split second more of consideration, Slickjaw carefully takes the amulet after being sure not to directly touch it, and stows it securely in his clothes. In addition, he downs his potion of cure light wounds, and takes another potion to replace it.
Healing: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
In addition, he takes as much gold as he can conceal well, before relocking the locks and sneaking back above deck to the place he was supposed to go.

Rynjin |

So as it turns out, Corv has pretty much lost interest and would like to bow out. So, I'm going to GMPC Lucy for a little while, waiting for an opportunity for her to escape the Wormwood, or die in a heroic fashion.
I actually forgot, one sec.
4d4 ⇒ (4, 4, 1, 4) = 13
Man the dice hate you...Slickjaw, it takes you a total of 13 rounds to unlock the chests and reset the traps. I was nice and didn't roll the 2d4 for all 3 chests (2d4 to disarm, 2d4 to unlock, 2d4 to reset normally) because that's a ludicrous amount of time. You can halve that time if you don't reset them. So it'll be round 16 (battle just ending) by the time you get back on deck, or 9 if you don't reset the traps.
Lucy shimmies across her rope, wondering how she got herself in this mess.
I'm definitely not cut out for piracy. Just don't have the stomach for it. she sighs internally.
Hopping on to the deck she immediately heads for the aft deck, not far away from where she grappled on (and Cyrdic is shoved off the boat by one of the sailors.).
Round 1
Lucy heads for the back sailor, who seems to be frightened by something, and whips out her Falchion, taking a mighty slash at the man before he can react to her.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
2d4 + 9 ⇒ (3, 2) + 9 = 14
The poor sailor drops to the ground in a spray of gore!
Round 2
Soon after, Cyrdic drags his sodden body up over the railing again, and angrily slices the other pirate nearly in two.
We're caught up now, I guess. Y'all need to take out the men on teh Sterncastle, and the guard the boats on the aft deck (where you are now.
Unless there's an objection, I'll assume you spend 1 round getting there. It is now Round 4 (since you hit the boat, anyway).
Ace, Cyrdic, and Lucy head to the sterncastle, where four other sailors are waiting patiently for the first pirates to step up. As one, they fire their crossbows.
Lucy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Lucy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Cyrdic: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Crit Confirm Lucy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 confirmed!
A crossbow bolt slams into Lucy with deadly force, piercing her armor as if it were paper and shooting clear through her body!
2d10 ⇒ (10, 3) = 13
Lucy stumbles around in shock, still on her feet but only barely.
Initiative!
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Note to self, Lucy has Lesser Beast Totem.

TheGuyKnownAsAce |

inititaive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
meh
incase I dont get time later, Ace starts off with the hadouken burning hands (2d4 dmg)

Cyrdic Forthill |

As his soulblade cleaves the sailor nearly in two, Cyrdic and the man he just killed lock eyes for a brief moment. In that instant, Cyrdic saw all the pain and fear in the man, most of which he had just caused by shoving a sword through him. I...just killed a guy. Oh my god, I just killed a person. Swallowing hard, he sets his gaze to the sterncastle, refusing to look at the body of the butchered sailor. Shoving his revulsion and distress down, he vows to deal with that later. For now though...there's a job to do. In the back of his mind, a small voice seems to chuckle and say You're going to be such a great pirate...
As he dashes towards the sterncastle with his group, he deftly dodges a crossbow bolt aimed at him, only to hear Lucy scream in agony a few moments later. However, there's no time to think-not when there's orders on the line.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
I dropped the Outrage after I wasted that guy, I have 6 rounds left of it, I believe-I have 5 PP altogether, and you deduct power points at the beginning of the round after you start it.

Lucretia Ivera GM Substitute |

Lucy stumbles around for a second before blacking out into an incoherent Rage. The blood flow from her chest slows and almost stops completely as she screams into the sky for blood.
Running forward with her Falchion raised high, she unleashes a mighty blow at the sailor who shot the devastating crossbow bolt!
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Very confirmed.
4d4 + 24 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 4) + 24 = 39
Lucy's attack cleaves the sailor in twain, blood spurting everywhere as the other sailors look on in horror at the ruins of their companion.

Rynjin |

The sailors gasp in unison.
"Attack! For all our sakes, kill that beast!"
I was going to say "For the love of <Insert Deity Here> but these guys WOULD be from the ONE PLACE in the entire freakin' world where not only is their country's religion "None (Atheism)", religion is outlawed entirely. -.-
Two of the sailors whip out their swords as a third fumbles with his own in a panic, but both stumble and falter at the look of sheer fury in Lucy's face.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
It is PROBABLY Slickjaw's turn at this point, but you guys may post your actions first if you wish.

TheGuyKnownAsAce |

Ace bellows "KAMEHAMEHA......HADOUEKEN!!!!!" as he fires off the burning hands at the sailors.
(hope it wont hit an ally)
then stops afterwards and reminded himself to stop saying random things.

Rynjin |

When you cast a spell like that, would you mind putting the DC in parentheses from now on? Helps me out quite a bit, especially once things like Spell Focus and stuff start coming up. And roll your 2d4 please.
Also be a little more subtle about your pop culture references if you're going to make them. -.-'
Ace steps forward and fires a wide swathe of fire at the group, including Lucy!
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
So message me on steam or SubSPUF or something when it's my turn.
You're not on, or I would have. And it's "your turn" whenever you want it. If there's anything you wanna change about your actions to reduce the time, I'll allow it.

Cyrdic Forthill |

Cyrdic runs in just behind the wake of the flames, and with a scream mirroring Lucy's, swings at another sailor.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Damage (If Applicable): 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 = 9
Also, I'm pretty sure I already shattered the 'subtlety' rule when it comes to pop culture references...

Rynjin |

@Alex: That was a general request.
Ace's flame washes over Lucy without even touching her, merely enhancing her menacing appearance. Gotta love that racial Fire resistance.
The sailors are not so lucky. One manages to dance away with only a bit of singed skin, but the others start screaming in pain as their flesh crackles on their arms while they cover their faces.
Panting in pain, adrenaline carries them through.
At least two of them, as a third is struck down mercilessly by Cyrdic's blade almost immediately afterward, gurgling as he drops to the floor.

Lucretia Ivera GM Substitute |

Lucy, exhaling steam from her nostrils, stands wreathed in flames.
She roars again, and drops her blade, growing powerful claws in the process.
She lashes out at one of the sailors, then the other, but fear gives them speed and they dance out of the way, inches from the sharp claws of the barbaric Tiefling woman.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Rynjin |

The two sailors press on, knowing nothing but death awaits if they surrender anyway.
"Bring that creature down! For Rahadoum!" one of them cries, as he swings his sword, but his sword just bounces off of Lucy's armor and tough hide.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
"She's not the only danger here! Look out!" the other cries, too late to save his friend from Cyrdic's blade. He slices at the man, who deftly blocks the blow.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
