I'm glad you brought this up. I'm not sure how most PBP games handle XP, but from what I gather, many if not most GMs don't formally track XP with these adventure paths.

Instead, 'when the time is right', the PCs go up a level. Each volume of the AP has suggestions as to when leveling should occur, so I'll probably just go by that. Tracking XP in these kinds of adventures seems to be a waste of time, but you guys tell me if you disagree.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been sick the past few days. I should have a new post up later this evening.

Hopefully you feel better soon. A few people here at my job have been sick as well, and it's not fun.

Apologies on the delay. The long and the short of it is that I've been estranged from my wife for a few months while she took 3 months away. She returned today so the weekend was spent in painting, cleaning etc in prep for her home coming.

She's suitably happy (though I am bone tired from the long hours and hard work) and it seems the marriage is at least again pointed in a positive direction.

Normal game play should resume tomorrow.

I promise after Halloween, I'll be a lot more regular with postings. Right now, I'm slammed for the next few days. It's going to be Saturday before the next update. After that, though, expect them to come no later than every 2 days, if not daily.

OK, now that Halloween is over, i'm gonna pick up the pace. We should be back to our old frequency, turns very 1 - 2 days. My apologies again about things being so slow for the past month.

I dont think we have ANY arcane characers - this could be interesting. I AM glad we have Lldeir - too often rogues are overlooked and I think they are valuable in their own right.

Since paizo's site was down most of the evening yesterday, I'm going to be late with an update ... i should have something for you later today.

Very adept handling of the kid Selia. I started to post about that three times and canceled each time. I'm glad that I did. Your solution was way more elegant than what Ned wanted to do, some variant of "Get off my lawn!"

I thought that one of you couldn't use Maptools because you only access the forums via mobile devices. Is that no longer true? If everyone can use a PC and can install Maptools, then I should just have a session running so you can move your mini on the board.

This is fine with me, but I just need to reiterate the fact that I can only update the map of week days while I'm at work otherwise I'll make specific move descriptions and I'll need someone to move my piece for me.

Ziltmilt, I don't think we had a chance to discuss this before. How would you like me to handle my summons? I have a character created for Selia's eagle and, with your permission, I would like to scale the eagle up every Summon Monster level if possible, as opposed to summoning a different type of monster each time the spell changes.

OK, that's fine, I think. How exactly do you scale the eagle up with each summons? is that a special feat or something?

It would just be reskinning a Summon Monster II to be an eagle, and to fit thematically. There are no bird summons at II, so it would probably be a matter of adjusting the stats of the I summon up a small amount.

This might be a lot of work, though. If that's the case, I can just use the summons on the lists.
