Seelah of Iomedae |
"For a moment I saw a light ... Iomedae was reaching towards me, telling me I could leave this world of turmoil ... and rest ... it was peacful and quiet ... then, I was torn back into all this violence ... maybe it was just a dream."
"In any case ... thank you for your assistance ... my work here is not done."

Go ahead and prep yourselves.
Assuming you want to go through the door you havent been through yet...Even after millennia of decay, this room’s decor indicates that it was more important than any other in the shrine. Tapestries and rugs show Thassilonians at work, at rest, and at play, as well as giants hauling massive blocks to construct monuments to their lords. In an alcove at the rear of the room, a seven-sided chancel rises two steps off the ground. Atop it stands a statue of a six-winged, half-snake, halfhuman woman with a Sihedron disc for a head. That same rune glows red-hot on the handle of the whip she holds in her outstretched arm. Thassilonian text is chiseled all around the perimeter of the chancel.
There are 2 Sinspawns and a middle aged human in the middle of the room who turn towards you intruding on their inner sanctum.
Seelah of Iomedae |
Assuming no one else wants the plate, Seelah will don it ... (unless that will take more time than you all want to take).

Thoth: NO weaknesses, no DR, special attacks include a sinful bite
A creature bitten by a sinspawn is overwhelmed with sinful thoughts (DC 12 Will save negates). These emotions are so powerful that the target becomes sickened for 1d6 minutes. An affected target that is bitten a second time is staggered for 1 round if it fails its saving throw. Calm emotions, remove curse, or break enchantment negates the effects of sinful bite. The save DC is Charisma-based. This is a mind-affecting effect.

The sin spawn's spear slides under Seelah's loose fitting, borrowed armor, gashing her shoulder (51/67), but she just steps forward into it with a five foot step ...

Quelion |
Quelion calls up an air elemental and directs it to attack everyone in the fog.
Don't have control over it beyond "attack my enemies" but I'm hoping it will use its' whirlwind to dissipate said fog. If not, I'll roll attacks for it. Medium Air Elemental. Also, delaying on that for my own action.
Seelah of Iomedae |
"Thanks for the heal ..."
As soon as the fog parts enough for her to see the foe Seelah charges ...

Quelion |
Argh! Sorry, hard week at work, pretty much spent most of yesterday either asleep or catching up on life.
The Elemental spins up into a whirlwind and attempts to grab the spellcaster with its' form.
Not a true grapple, caster needs to make a Reflex save (DC 16) or take 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 damage and needs to make a second save to avoid being caught.
Provided with a target, Quelion himself launches magic missiles at her.

Searching the man you find a letter carrying the correspondence from another Lissalan ally who informs him that the ally's followers have discovered the location of Krune's runic archive and will son have the keywords to activate the refuge tokens.
The only other thing of interest in this room is the statue that remains unapproached.
Seelah of Iomedae |
"Well, that is not a statue of anyone you'd want to take home to the family ... likely nothing good would happen to one of us for disturbing it. Since I am not keen on needlessly sending things to their torment I recommend we attempt to discover what we can using [i]traditional/i] ways before sending in the canaries."
