Responding to hounds with hounds makes a great deal of sense, and so celestial archons in the shape of dog-headed humanoids appear and attack.
Summon Monster 6. For the sake of sanity and since the Hounds are immune to poison, we'll say Mr. Imp isn't doing much after all.
Summoning 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Hound Archons. One will be summoned near Seoni and Quelion and ordered to ready an action if a hound gets within reach. This will preserve the hedging effect of its' Magic Circle against Evil for the casters if they count as summoned. They also all require a DC 16 Will Save for Aura of Menace as usual (multiple failed saves do not stack).
The remaining Archons attack a single hound with power attack, the first two appearing intentionally in a flanking position. Also for the sake of sanity, I'm just gonna peer at the stat block after I've rolled to-hits to start getting my damage rolled without too much clutter. Dice behind spoiler.

Four corridors converge orthogonally upon an octagonal
space roughly thirty feet across in the tower’s center. In the
place of more bronze panels stand eight open, rectangular
doorframes adorned with metal studs, each doorway’s
contents obscured by cool, gray mist. Embedded into the
floor in the center of the room is a large numeral one crafted
of red marble. A small niche in the southeast wall
houses a hand-sized, polished granite statuette of
a muscular dwarf wearing robes and hefting
a hammer.
The pathway to the north and west remain unexplored. There is writing above each of the bronze panels (this will require DC20 linguistics to translate)

"It appears to be a very archaic form of Thassilonian, Haruka dialect to be exact. Proceeding up the stairs could be dangerous, we may be dealing with an actual Runelord, or at the very least a freshly resurrected one."
Thoth steps out of the way letting the martials take the lead.
"Shall we?"
Thoth the Constant |
he isn't sleeping here in fact thoth. But the command word should be. ok then let's move taking the west passage
"Perhaps I should have been a bit more clear. We could be dealing with an actual Runelord's minions, who have recently resurrected the Runelord of Sloth."
"hmmmm How can we obscure the one by primal sight?"

"Well ... seven is the only prime number, all the rest except for one are composite numbers. One is neither composite nor prime ..." Seelah glances around at the sidelong looks she is getting, "What?! You try hanging around with Ezren and not have some of that malarkey rub off on ya ..."
"I say we take door numbered seven ... but that ignores the second half of the verse."
Seelah of Iomedae |
"Hidden now by factors few" ... (or is that part of the prime riddle ... assuming that's correct)
19 is again prime
1 has the fewest factors
21 is the only number with 7 (from the prior step) as a factor (with 3, maybe used later)
Doesn't relate but 1 and 64 repeated.
Or are we on to "A century I wait in night"
19 and 81 are 100/century
I say we go with the prime number again ...
