Good deal. As an aside, please do not lurk in the other game. The other group will be doing things that run counter to what your side is doing, and at a certain point it becomes hard to keep character knowledge separate from player knowledge. I really believe that you will have more fulfillment learning about things organically.
Okay, enough of that. I'll have the first gameplay thread up shortly.

626 |

Ok. I have more than enough castings to cover them all as my spells refresh every short rest.
If you don't want to think about role-playing all that I am perfectly okay with doing that in spoilers over here Or where ever you deem appropriate. I just don't want to cause an undue burden with my shenanigans.

Ya, if nothing else I'll keep running this game for a bit. I'm going to give it until Saturday before closing that game down (which I am not thrilled to be doing). If it comes to that, I'll copy all of the creation stuff from the game info on the other thread and then close it down. If it does come to that, would you want to keep going as a solo game or recruit some more people?

Vrog Skyreaver |

@626: I am going to have the two people who were still participating in the other game (simile and hypatia) join us here. I am making an announcement in the other game that I am closing it, then I'll move the info from the game info tab and shutter the game.
@ the new people: Welcome. I'll do some vignettes to wrap up both storylines that were running, probably on Monday. feel free to discuss amongst yourselves and we'll get started then.

S¡m¡lé |

Well, hello there.

Hypatia Kuningatar |

Hello again.

Vrog Skyreaver |

I have updated the campaign info tab and closed out the other thread.
I might have some stuff up tomorrow, but I have monday and tuesday off, so I plan to get us going again on Monday (again, posting Vignettes). Ideally, right now I see three possible sides to this conflict the party can go with:
Stick with the Rat/Rapture and try to bring down the league;
Stick with side of the league and try to stop the Rat/Rapture;
Go your own way and try not to stay out of the way of both sides.
Let me know as a group which way you'd prefer to go and we'll do that.
Thanks.

Hypatia Kuningatar |

Hypatia is inclined to take the middle route. She dislikes the Rat but has no love lost for the league either so would like to cause trouble for both sides if she could find a way to gain some benefit from it and not get insta-splatted.

626 |

626 would be with Hypatia on this. He has spent decades opposite the league as his master's insurance against live escapees, so joining them is a step that will only happen in desperation. On the other hand, he also hates a leash. The Box was paradise for him because he was finally out of the reach of his former master. Then the Rat came along and stole that from him and put a leash back on him to boot!

S¡m¡lé |

Simile genuinely wants to help people, though she's not entirely convinced the League is the best way to do that. Particularly as forces behind them have shown themselves to be... untrustworthy.

Guys, I have a confession to make, one that it took me a while to work up the nerve to make: I'm not really enjoying running this game. I was pretty excited at first, but as time has gone on I've come to enjoy it less and less, and I've actually started to dread updating it for some reason.
Please do understand that this is nothing to do with you all, but I have to admit that losing over half my player base in the first mission was pretty disheartening.
So here's my proposal:
I would be happy to run a different game with you all having seats at the table (so to speak), but I really don't feel comfortable trying to continue the game.
Let me know what you all think and we'll go from there.
Thanks.

626 |

Thanks for letting us know man. The GM's fun is important too, so I'm not upset. It's important that you speak up.
Right now my life is getting busier, so I'm good if this one just goes quietly into the void.
It was a good premise and a good start. Let me know if I can revise the role of 626 anywhere. :)

Hypatia Kuningatar |

I understand completely. Losing players does put a damper on things. As 626 said it was a good premise and an enjoyable game while it lasted and I would be interested in playing a different game with you.

S¡m¡lé |

No worries, I'd be pretty bummed out at dropping about half the players so early on.
And there's little worse than feeling you have to continue a game when you're not feeling it.
