Seeing that the cold breath has little effect ont eh group at the moment it takes to the air to buy it some time till it can recover its wits and focus on a better plan of attack.

It circles around the clocktower to the south staying out of sight of the dragon hunters for the moment.

Good guys up but dragon is out of sight. You can move onto the ledges of the clock tower though as they are 5 ft wide.

As the dragon flies away, and having shrugged off most of the cold damage from its breath, Helgash tries to swing again - "Face us, coward!"

The Paladin then takes flight, exhilarating from the amazing feeling he has never experienced before - a smile crosses his face as he moves effortlessly through the air and after the dragon. But soon again he focuses on the task at hand - "Hide Logrovich! We will chase you until it is all over!" - he roars.

Flying after the dragon - if I can reach him:

Yes you would get the AOO along with Sheelah Helgash. I need a fly check though to be able to turn and change directions in mid flight. The dc I believe is 15..

Reflex save 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 success for half damage total of 11

Helgash gets a strike in as Logrovich takes flight doing more damage. Jetro moves up the ladder while Beck moves onto the ledge and hurls flame at the dragon. The gusting wind though keeps him from hitting.

Venja flies over and releases a lightning bolt striking the dragon but Logrovich was able to move out of the way of the deadliest portion of the bolt. By now he is looking very haggard and scales are loose on his body.

Another round of this and he will drop for sure. If Helgash makes his fly check it will be close already and I will have to double check the math.

Sheelah would be dangling from a leg waaayyy up in the air.


Sheelah gets a good bite on the dragon but can not hold on as the brute strength of the dragon is able to rip its leg out of her mouth.

Helgash tries to spin in the air to follow the dragon but his armor and lack of previous magical flight make it impossible for him to recover and move gracefully in the air.

Logrovich flees away from Helgash and Venja around the corner of the clock tower out of sight of them and away from the openings on the ledge.

Good guys turn. remember if you are flying you need to make a fly check to change direction. Dragon is currently out of sight.

Duardlara glances around the tower, both to see if there are potential sniping locations and to see if there are other, less-obvious openings that might be used to spy the dragon as it circles, as she assumes it is doing.

But her focus is on delivering an arrow when next it appears. Unless her perception check reveals something useful, she will maintain her readied action.

The squares with tracks on them allow for someone to get to the outside ledge if that is what you are looking to do Duardlara. Otherwise the gears block line of sight from inside to outside and vice versa.

Helgash chases after the dragon intent on not letting his prey escape. Coming around the corner the last thing he expected was the dragon ready for him lashing out with its bite!

D'lara cannot help but feel some relief at her friends' safe return. Upon learning that the dragon has fallen, she agrees with Jetro's sentiment. Saying nothing, she turns to its hoard and casts detect magic and begins searching.

Venja flies down to the fallen dragon and casts detect magic, since they are intelligent creatures, it stands to reason it is wearing any useful magic from its hoard. If it has any, she will collect it and fly back up to the others.

Venja you find nothing on the dragon. Howver as you fly down you see 2 trolls come out and look at the dead dragon. Looking up at you and down at the dragon they drop they greataxes and flee away to the west. Looking downt he street you watch them go and then realize that someone has set off a pair of fireworks that could be seen by the entire city. Those up in the tower can easily see the fireworks as well!

Venja flies back up to the tower and alerts the others... "Two trolls spotted the dragon and then me... they ran away to the west... someone set off some fireworks that I'm sure the whole city saw."

Venja holds up the ring and asks "Does anyone mind if I acquires this item? I'd like the owl as well, but won't quibble if someone else wants it more."

"I can use the wand of cure light wounds but the other casting items are difficult for me to use, though I could try... Let me know what you want to do with them..."

I would like to have the scroll and the short sword and trade in the longsword. I would not turn down the arcane wands. Hmm, the sleep arrows might be a good option for a sneak...
