Yeah, age and responsiblity have decimated my rpg life over the last 20 years.
Last time I played face to face was about 10 years ago, ran a Ptolus campaign to completion, but is was a slog, keeping the players playing, took 3 years to finish.
After that , found the Paizo boards 3 years ago and never looked back :)
As for hunting , guns in Canada...cant's help with the firs, but with the second, do your research. Our gun laws are much more strict than in the US , especially if you're thinking of bringing them across the border.

And yeah I have done my research in to the laws, I am looking to get a hunting rifle and license, and join a Hunting club. I couldn't bring anything with me anyway, I'm Irish. No border hopping here.

Huh... So 50% of the party is under 20. Probably 50% of the part is under 5ft and I just realized that 4/6ths of the party is female.

So here's how the race will work.
We'll enter initiative as a team (aka I'll take the average initiative). Every time you move, you'll need an acrobatics check.
You'll then decide either to book it as fast as you can (a full round action) OR you take your time (a move action). If you take your time, you can use Aid Another to help each other.
Mar'a is competing with Hannah.
I'll roll her initiative and pair it with Hannah, but Mar'a'll need to post the following things:
- If she wants to take her time and use Aid Another
- If she wants to book it as fast as possible
- An acrobatics check
- An aid another check (if she's using it)
Let's say Mar'a and Hannah get an initiative of 13.
Mar'a decides she wants to run, so she and Hannah spend their full round action running. I'd need an acrobatics check.
If Mar'a decides to help Hannah, she'll need to include an aid another check with her acrobatics check. Note that I'm altering the rules slightly on aid another. For every 5 you get over DC10, you add +1 to the bonus your target gains.

Is the bonus for aid another for every five on top of the +2 or is it +1 at 10, +2 at 15, so on? Just curious more than anything since Cleo isn't racing.

It's on top of the +2, or +4 for Cleo because of her trait. This is simply to encourage players to use it, and to reward them for exceeding the DC. I might even throw in an additional bonus if they manage to beat the actual task's DC as well, but we'll see.
If Cleo and Helgarr wouldn't mind, I'd be happy to see some character info just under your name. Much like Mar'a, Ali, Maria, and Vandra have done. You can do this by editing your profile, and putting your stats in your "class/levels" section. Feel free to make the format look like any of the other characters.

I was wondering if you want to be part of the high striker competition. It's very similar to the carnival games where you hit a small teeter-totter that sends a ball as high as possible to ring a bell. It's a strength challenge. I think Helgarr would do well there =D

Man and I really liked the group we had. That just blows, on his first PbP too.
It sucks, but that's just how things go. I'd be happy for him to come back sometime.
In the meantime, we could invite someone into the game, or we could just continue as is. I'd like everyone to weigh in, please. It's as much your game as it is mine. :)

In that order too.
I'd like to take Mary off that list just for the sake of rebalancing the party away from kids and females. My big picks are Tsakua and Kent, Tsakua would make a good friend for Maria given his circus background and her aspirations, while Kent was going to try and be a big brother for all the kids.
That was my backing for both Tsakua and Kent too, both of them were the big burly defender type. I put Bruden down for his powers and what he added to the toolkit.

Possibly, but we have a witch and a summoner, I think we need a front liner more.
Though we seem to be missing ranged damaged dealers, namely archers? I'm ok with having someone else up front with me though :D
we can all be archers in a pinch, heck, my given specialty is not feat intensive and I can go ranged if the party wants it, right now our meat shields are helgarr and Azeri, everybody else is squishy

I think it is a good idea to get another male character, just to maintain the balance. Also so Ali can have someone to go "Jeez why are girls so frustrating?!" to.
