WoW! The submissions were so strong, and the RP so intense there for a moment, I thought I didn't have a chance.
Thanks a lot for taking me on board TreasureFox. Happy to be here with such an impressive cast ;)

My pleasure, Helgarr! You had such an incredible story, and I felt like I could really work with it! Plus, we REALLY needed someone who could smash things into a pulp XD
Speaking of smashing, I have a note here that says you're currently under a 25 point buy. Would you mind updating that to our 20 point buy?
Vandra Geaux |
Vandra Geaux, at your service. I'm a 16 year old Spirit Binder Wizard who will specialize in Transmutation and Illusion spells.
Beside me is my mother, Jeaux Rai. Please forgive her for not speaking. Her soul resides in the body of our pet wallaby. It was my first real act of magic and I have regretted it ever since, though she doesn't seem to mind all that much.
Maria the Great |
Maria is sitting there tossing a knife up and down while eyeing Vandra's shin. I don't think I'd like to be in a wallaby's body, but seriously, I didn't even know that was a choice for that kind of thing.
Vandra Geaux |
It was a...spur of the moment thing. Doubt I could do it again, nor do I really want to.
(Seriously, look at the class. I've never seen a class actually BUILT for a tragic backstory before.)
Korak The Boisterous |
oh i checked the archetype back during the roleplay, just not the most recent familiar list
Alandrian Verium |
"Aw do I have to..? But everybody knows who I am..." A furry paw like hand clips the young boy on the ear. Ali pouts and sighs before beginning to speak again. "FINE! I am Alandrium Verium, my friends call me Ali, if I had any that is. This is Azerie, he is an Eidolon so basically he is hear because I have an imagination. And I can cast magic and stuff. Yeah!" He doesn't look at anyone when he is introducing himself, spending the time instead looking up and away.
He begins to chuckle softly to himself before openly grinning and looking up at Azerie. "Sorry. I'll stop misbehaving now. I was just joking anyway!"
Vandra Geaux |
Yeah, it's one of the few Small-sized familiars you can get without the Improved Familiar feat, introduced in the Familiar Folio. It's also one of the few Familiars, period, that can use weapons, and since the Spirit Binder gives your familiar some stuff based upon it's previous favorite class (which was Polearm Fighter for Jeaux, thus the glaive).
And happy to meet you, Ali and Azzy.
Korak The Boisterous |
And of course maria is the psychotic toy maker.... oooh! That's another good one I can do with the tinker class.
DM TreasureFox |
Hello all! I need to dash off to work, so I'll make this quick.
Welcome once again welcome to the game! I have a good feeling about this group. For those of you who are familiar with this adventure path, please don't let down your guard. There are going to be plenty of interesting changes to the game. This is a lethal game by the way, although I have a few rules that I make myself follow. Such as you can't die (unless you try to) within the first level, and all deaths require at least 2 defenses to fail (such as hp, saving throws, AC, etc). So you won't have to worry about sudden death without getting a chance for survival.
About myself, I hail from Western Canada, and am fairly young. I started playing pathfinder 3 years ago, but my group at the time was terrible. Feeling the need for a better experience, I set off and became a DM despite knowing nothing about the system, and built a strong group over the years. I've done Rise of the Runelords twice now. The first one ended at the end of book 1, where the party nearly had a total party kill. (They tried to sleep next to their arch enemy). The 2nd group is still going, and they are half way through book 2.
Vandra Geaux |
I was in a campaign that nearly had a TPK.
Of course, I was the betrayer that nearly killed the other two characters.
Actually, I did kill them, a couple times each, but the GM did something to keep them alive that I couldn't remember. Nobody expected me to be able to kill them since I was against an Aasimar Half-Celestial Cleric(?), I think, and a Foo-Creature Oread Monk.
My GM was always fond of giving us templates and stuff. I was a Devil-Bound Tiefling Vanguard (a 3pp class that was basically a spontaneous Magus who forms a bond with his weapon.)
Plus, we all had Mythic tiers and I was the only one who kept remembering what all my abilities did.
Vandra Geaux |
What a coincidence, I plan on moving to Canada within the next 15-20 years.
No, the amount of years is not in reference to a stint in prison. I'm just poor and have too much responsibilities to do anything sooner.
But one of these days, it'll be "'Ello, mounties!"
Korak The Boisterous |
It's not so nice when you're the one being threatened with being skinned and having your skin worn. And I'm being dead serious there. He made that threat well over a dozen times.
Vandra Geaux |
I always prefer to threaten to cut off someone's head and wear it as a hat while on a cross country trip, like Steve Buschimi's character on Con-Air.
(Note: Not really, just love the movie and Steve Buschimi.)
Cleo Gingerberry |
Hi, I'm John the voice behind Cleo. I'm old, and a southerner in the us, but please don't hold either of those things against me. Cleo is utterly and completely happy she'll actually make it to Sandpoint (which I will eventually call Sandport cause I can't seem to get the name right in my head). She hopes to find meat on a stick there, a fanciable delicacy one of her uncles told her about.
She will do her very best to keep you all healed up and alive, once she meets you all that is.
Treasure, hope you have a decent night at work.
Cleo Gingerberry |
Hey, Cleo's the only non-human!
Cleo Gingerberry |
Well besides Jeaux and Azerie... Did I mention before I'm a horrible speller, so I do apologize if I butcher their names.
Korak The Boisterous |
Vandra, I feel that often, and the fact that I got that and realize how long it's been since I heard of her, yeah. I feel old.
DM TreasureFox |
Hi All!
Hope to have a nice epic adventure with you all.
DM T'Fox, hello to a fellow canuck! I'm just east of Ottawa myself :)
Oh hey there! I have some family in Ottawa, so I've been there a few times. I'm in Calgary myself, that's in Alberta btw. ;)
I'm Irish, but kinda moving to Canada at the end of August. Well... Moving to Newfoundland at least. Haha
I've never been to Newfoundland, but winter notwithstanding I hear it is a truly beautiful place. The down side is nobody understands them ;)
Don't rub it in, I'm Mr. Forever Alone.
I was alone for 7 years before I met my girlfriend just two months ago. She's now a half elf sorcerer (brass dragon) multiclassed with Draconic Disciple. She's blasting down everything that moves and has more health than our bloodrager.
Korak The Boisterous |
I'm good, but I think I'm the only one around.
EDIT: And that's not for much longer.
Cleo Gingerberry |
Travelling today, so... ugh.
Korak The Boisterous |
Unfortunate, I hope it's at least to somewhere semi pleasant, but, it is late, and I must pass out.
Helgarr |
Well, Helgarr is updated to the 20pt buy - had to make some decisions regarding feats, and ended up taking Iron Will. I think it will pay off in the long run ;)
Also added some gear - think she's about done.
Vandra Geaux |
I think I'm good to go. Not really anything I need to do with the characters.
Oh, yes, one question: Since Jeaux could kinda be considered a reincarnation (like the spell), would you allow her to have traits? Maybe a combat and something else? Figured she wouldn't qualify for a racial trait since she's now a wallaby instead of human, but I could see her keeping at least one trait.
Helgarr |
Hmmmm, I had considered the chance of making Helgarr a Bloodrager instead of a Barabarian. Been wanting to try that class for some time now, but I guess for now I think I'll stick to her 'as is'.
Vandra, I wonder what kind of racial traits we could come up for a wallaby? 'Amazing jump kick' and 'Hop and hide'? :D
Helgarr |
Perhaps you mean Lightning Reflexes? Reactionary only boosts your Initiative ;)
