The Half-Dead City
(1 of 6): In Wati, the half city, the church of Pharasma holds a lottery allowing explorers to delve the tombs of the city’s vast necropolis in search of the nation’s lost glories. In the course of investigating dusty tombs and fighting their ancient guardians and devious traps, the heroes encounter a rival adventuring group intent on keeping one tomb’s treasures for themselves. At the same time, the heroes learn that a potent artifact, potentially capable of animating the dead, has been stolen from the tomb. Can the adventurers defeat their rivals, or will they join the undead defenders of the city’s necropolis?

The group heads back to the entrance to the estate. You decide it may be time to retreat before facing more dangers. A trio of adventurers meet you in the street. They seem to be taking notice of your group.
One of them seems a pudgy, middle-aged native wearing an entertainer's outfit with braid at the sleeves. The other two seem to be thin and alert and notice your presence while their more pudgy companion seems to be using a ten foot pole to push the ground.
They all seem to be wearing pins of dragons encrusted with amethysts. You notice an embroidered dragon the entertainer's outfit.
"Ho, How things going in there." The elder of the trio seems to be doing the talking.

"Which was the goal, right?"
They nod to the Penteru Estate. The pudgy one speaks: "Some bad creatures in there, I would guess. I guess it looks harmless enough from the outside."

Knowlege check to see what the dragon pendants mean?
Very bad creatures indeed. Decapitated vampire heads whose screams can freeze a man in place were among the tamest. The dead are restless in that crypt for certain.

"Indeed, some were incredibly resistant to my magic and blades. A bad place to be, for sure."
