I'm going to drop out of the recruitment, Tri-Gestalt mage has kicked my ass and crushed my love for the character concept. I think he's more of a normal gestalt playstyle. Not to mention I love the thought of an actually hard campaign, but putting so much work into a character to have it potentially offed for a small mistake is really worrying. Good luck to the others in recruitment, it's sure to be a fun game!

So, I've been thinking about my approach to tanking and I think I'm going to focus less on survivability and more on forcing things to attack me (and trust my brother to keep me alive)... I haven't figured out exactly what that will look like but I'm probably going to completely overhaul my build... I'll still be a guardian but probably some kind of arcane caster...

Should be about done, save for a last check that I didn't forget anything or leave bad math.
For secondary roles, I'd probably remove blaster from my list. Mythic allows for some very nice debuffs, and I ended up building more to that.
Also note that while I super love the theming of kitsune's magical tails, I do know they're not ideal mechanically, so if need be I have a very flexible feat list since I can just remove as many as is needed.

Well, I've been through 3 completely different builds since I decided the last tank I posted wasn't going to be able to draw enough attention, and now I'm back to my very first tank idea. I know we're kind of crowded with the dragon disciples but it is what it is...
race: Aasimar
origin: (working on it)
first class path: Enlightened Paladin 12
second class path: Primalist Bloodrager 5/Dragon Disciple 7
third path class: Sorcerer
mythic path: Guardian
main role: Tank
secondary role: melee, utility casting
campaign trait: ??

Placing the summary of shoremoth:
Race: Tiefling
Origin: back-ally noble
First class: Arcanist (occultist)
second class: Alchemist
third class: Brawler
Mythic path: archmage
Main role: Utility (conjurations, illusions and 'mundane' tools) and (knowledge) skillmonkey
Secondary role: flanking buddy
campaign trait: Fragments of Someone Else

Malfurion, The Crimson Lord wrote:"I was the first of my kind! I will be the last!"Typical ego of a creature with Dragon Blood ... :-)
"I got some of that. It's in a little vial in my bag. Poor white dragon. Shouldn't have been trying to eat me. Sometimes I pop it my canteen for a cool drink."
| Flint Blackwood |
"Oh very much so. Have you ever met one of their disciples? Good cleanser though." If anyone was going to be firing shots Flint was not going to back down. That was his job most of the time.
Feel free to stop me if you don't want to clutter the recruitment. Getting antsy with the cut off still a week away.

The format is fine - it doesn't need to be HL's, just something as clear as possible. As for feats, anything from Paizo official material is game (as per the recruitment instructions), feel free to run anything specific by me if you think it might be something I might rule against.
We have just some more days to go. I don't mind the RPing here, just please don't clog the thread too much. Being sincere, I'll just plain ignore such posts :) we have already some excellent applications but maybe a lot is still fairly incomplete. When the date comes, we will see if things are looking good for the recruitment or if we should extend a little more. ;)

Mythic Options is not actually a paizo product (though it was written/published by Owen Stephens who's worked on a number of paizo releases). I asked partly because I've seen a bunch of GM's allow it even though they weren't allowing any other 3pp content, and partly (mostly) because d20pfsrd mixes those feats right in with the actual paizo feats so if you're not allowing them people have to make sure to check the feats they're picking (if they're using that site).

Double checked my mythic feats. Had to replace one I think mine is done though. Terrifyingly complex but an absolute monster too. Should be fun to see what he can do.

I am working on my backstory still. I hit writer's block, but I'm back to working on it again. Crunch is more or less done, though he'll be an elf and his name will probably change to something more appropriately elven. Should be done by the end of the month and hoping to be done in the next day or so.

Assuming we all finish our sheets and backgrounds, I should be looking at the candidates and picking them by Sunday at some point - so, right now, I'll propose Saturday 04/02 as the last day to submit anything. Send me a PM if you feel you might get late. I imagine next week will be used for our last adjusts before starting the adventure :) Thanks for all the interest, guys.

I never disallowed Blood Money. Here are my exact words:
Blood money isn't banned. Any effect that has a cost, however, has to be actually paid to work - so someone with DR will have difficulties using the spell, for example.
If you can't take the full damage from Blood Money (the regular 1d6 or the strength damage), then the spell won't work.
It's okay to redo some of the spells after the party is picked.

Speaking of sorc spells, blood money was disallowed a few pages back. I too would like to fit my spell selection to the party, though with wild arcana most this will be available regardless.
Mythic Color Spray and Confusion. The worst or funniest color run ever.

Taking the damage isn't the issue. Just so you are aware of the shenanigans.

Every other post in that thread is why it's not possible, though?

You could get pretty far just with Marionette Possession which is a low level option. Malfurion, The Crimson Lord has 36 Str off the bat and 40 with a simple Bull's strength. Only 4 is through a class ability so that might not rollover. Only 2 DR means there is a decent chance the spell won't fail. That's a lot of money.
