Looking at character sheets Zoren is the only one with points in diplomacy but no rolls are required just yet so you can just proceed with roleplay

He nods "I will speak to the druids and have them visit you. Their healing powers are great they should be able to restore you come inside and..." The elf ranger pales looking at something behind you "A Bone Crawler....It must have been tracking you! Now is your chance to prove yourselves. Help me repel it!" Your turn around and see it approaching thought it is still a hundred feet away. It is difficult to notice at first as it as the white mass doesn't stand out much on the white ground.

When it is encased in bone armor, the bone crawler appears much different. When still, it resembles a 15 ft. diameter mound of bones, piled haphazardly together. A canny observer may note fleshy tendrils or roots webbed through the mass. Once it begins to move, the armored crawler is a whirling nightmare of interlocked bones forming a 15 ft. diameter central mass, with bony tentacles extending out from it in all directions.

I am not sure it is undead my friends. It may be using the bones of others for armor.

The wizard looks about for other threats and tries to recall what he knows of these creatures. He asks Jerald's The creature is well outside your forest. Do you mind if I use fire to help put it down?

Note, Ilithial is not delaying. I only want to know what he knows of the creature before acting.


"It is an Aberration. Weak to sonic attacks but resistant to everything else at least until it's armour is destroyed. We repelled one before but we lost a friend in the battle." says Jeraldus loosing an arrow at it and it bounces of the hard bone shell barely making a scratch.

The dc is 22 to know about so what Ilitial knows is pretty much what Jeraldus said. You also know the creature is blind but has blindsight at close distance and can sense bones from a long distance. It's armour has separate hp from the creature within they even have separates saves and while the creature has spell resistance the armor doesn't. The armour howsoever takes half damage from all energy attacks except sonic and has Dr15/adamantine. It is also very difficult to hit the creature inside as it has full cover from anything outside the armour. You can make an attack to strike the creature inside directly when it uses certain abilities however.

Jerald's did not comment about Ilithial's use of fire so I will assume that they are not opposed. If the druids were opposed and said so Ilithial could convert the damage to Acid or Electricity.

Ilithial takes off up into the air, rising 20' off the ground, his hand pulling a certain rod from his belt. and a small seed of fire flies from his hand to strike the creature. It blooms into an impressive burst of flames.

Empowered Intensified Fireball: 11d6 + 26 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 6, 5, 6, 1, 5, 2, 2, 4) + 26 = 73 +23 for Empowered for a total of 96 points of Fire. Saving Throw Reflex DC 23 for half. if you fail you catch on fire.


No so long as you do not harm the groove there is no issue it is far enough that there is no danger

I believe this is purely only against armour and have to break armour before able to attack the creature. If attacks do strike the creature she would use her nanite abilities too
