I was also looking at purchasing some equipment, or rather, purchasing an enchantment to put on some existing equipment. Namely, I'm planning on putting an elemental enhancement on my adamantine cestus, but can't decide which one to go with. I actually do really want this to be effective against demons and various other things. Would you guys recommend Flaming or Shock?

Demons typically have low level fire resistance, but often no lightning resist. At least according to the rules. I took the liberty of having MR Peppers know about the general characteristics of demons, I don't remember what he rolled up for knowledges way back then, but I'm sure the GNOME certainly made those checks.

I've finished running one Blakros Matrimony table, and one of the fights included a darkness spell. Now considering our party's lack of darkvision, and it coming up without a doubt at some point, were you planning on getting light spells in the future?

Dispelling doesn’t work so well at our level since some monsters have Darkness or Deeper Darkness at will.

This is about the time my cleric took Heighten Spell so they could make heightened continual flame Ioun Torches. He has been very popular with a number of people he has played with. You can’t buy a Continual Flame heightened to 4th or 5th level, you need a PC to cast the spell for you.

Some people prefer to have the spell on something else, but I really like using a dull grey ioun stone.

Saves on how many Oil of Daylight pots you expend.

Many also have the option of buying the heightened daylighted gemstone from... one of the starting scenarios? Not confirmation, the other popular one... the wine bottle hunt.

I do plan to pick up heighten spell soon though. Maybe that'll be the one I replace my other metamagic with, toppling spell.

We've gone three-dimensional, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to toss a map up, but I may not use a map at all.

You're in the center of a sphere that's 100 feet in diameter, so you'd be at 50 feet from the edge. The tentacle demon is 30 feet from the bottom along with the cleric's body.

If we are to do 3-D, I would suggest a circle for the battle area and a sidebar with heights listed. We each then have two avatars, one on the height bar and the other in the circle.

The other thing I would do assuming it doesn't mess with the encounter tactics is to make the area a cylinder. That way the X-Y plane is always the same size.

I would suggest a height map alongside an overhead map. That's how I tend to do these.

Now that I see how everything is clustered together, perhaps splitting the Z axis into slices of X-Y planes would be a good idea.

Keep the Z-axis to track height, but have at least a high and low plane with a place marker to help orient people.

As for the search, spaghetti monster would have probably worked!
