There's a homebrew dungeon i need playtested, and 2 out of 5 haven't reported in, after a week's notice of me opening gameplay.

Ya I decided to put all my income and purchases into excel for better book keeping, turns out I had about 100g too much so I made the adjustments. If you need any details let me know.. it also is handy for keeping track of weight.. I think Mr Peppers is a medium load now due to damn rations! If you've ever done any long overnight backpacking trips you know how true that is!

I use those Item Tracking Sheets but they're a little cumbersome for online play. Excel has the added advantage of fun formulas and what not.

You can roll your day job now, I'm likely going to start and perhaps finish chronicles today.

I typically first build my PFS characters in excel anyhow so adding in another tab is a no brainer. Then I copy paste the format from an old character into a new one and fill out the info. Excel is handy too to mess with character planning and ideas that you don't want on your online character sheet.

There you go. Some of you will level up, others won't. Uesugi, sorry, but I won't have yours until this evening. I started working on the sheet last night but was waiting to see if you wanted to roll a day job, so it's on my other computer at home... Surely you can understand? Hides from katana

Oh and since this was my first time filling out chronicles in their entirety, there's bound to be an error or two. Let me know if you find any and I'll get them fixed.

For the brown mold boon, I crossed off one box because the trap wasn't disabled, it was set off. I thought about crossing off the entire boon because the second sentence says you took a sample, but according to the rules for this module, as long as the first sentence of a boon applies "On your way up to Highfort, you encountered a trap made of bottled brown mold," you get the boon.

I'll be sure to go over the chronicle completely when I get home and have access to my excel file to be sure. Many thanks Red, sucks to not level up but it must be done!

On a side note... its very likely that I'll be out of town and away from the internets most of Friday and all of Saturday/Sunday and the first half of Monday on a fishing trip.

Thanks for the Chronicles, GM! Reviewing my chronicles, I should have started with 8 fame and ended with 12 after this scenario. My fault, I told you I had 5 fame. Can you please update that?

Now I get to agonize over my level 3 feat! And second level spells!

That is always a difficult decision. I sat in front of my excel sheet this weekend a bit pondering similar, but I won't have to decide until level 5.. but both an exploit and a feat. I think I have at least the feat decided and the exploit perhaps. I'll be dipping my toes into metamagics and the world of level 2 spells at that point.

GM Red, you did an error on mine.

Starting prestige/fame should be 2/10, and final prestige/fame should be 2/12.

I spent the -2 on each of the previous sheets for wands. Goodness knows I will be getting another wand with the prestige from this adventure, so we'll leave the -2 on prestige spent.

As a member of the exchange, when you reach 20 fame you could get yourself a title of Trade Prince for 1 PP.

Or you could pick up a Herald now for 1 prestige, to herald you into events and announce all your titles.

Cup is considering becoming a Grand Lodge Instructor. I think that would be very appropriate for her to gain some scholar followers (research assistants!) later in her career.

Jasmine Wu picked up a Jade Wayfinder. She's a tien character, and also liked the idea of being able to cast Guidance. (A spell not available to bards.)

Many Investigators and Alchemists grab the Discerning Wayfinder so that they can cast Detect Magic and identify items.

To add to the confusion some Wayfinder Enhancements have to be bought with gold rather than gotten as a Prestige Vanity. One notable example of this is the Shining Wayfinder. For Two Grand, you can get your Wayfinder to Detect Evil. I wish that they had made it a prestige vanity like the other enhancements so that they would all work the same way.

There is also a Smuggler's Wayfinder that can bought for 2K but for the same effect I think that the Pathfinder Pouch is a better deal.

Also, Ioun stones can be slotted in Wayfinders, and they have resonance powers. In PFS, our leaders have decreed that all unflawed stones have resonances powers and all flawed and cracked stones do not.

You have to click on the Ioun stones individually in that list to find out their resonance powers. The clear white spindle is a very popular purchase because of its resonance power.

Cup, I literally want ALL OF THOSE THINGS!!! A herald would be especially appropriate. I'm imagining something like a boxing/wrestling announcer: "Now entering the lodge..." The Trade Prince title is interesting, but Gallix really doesn't do enough wheeling and dealing for that to be such a huge part of his character. He'd be more likely to open an underground business, probably a fighting ring where he rigs all the fights so he wins. Haha! Now I just need to pick up those resources so that stuff is actually legal for me. -__-

Yeah, I'm just 27, so I guess that makes me a young'un. I really just made Gallix the same age for ease of role-play. It's a bit easier for me to get in the head of someone my own age.

My alchemist uses gloves that cast prestidigitation and detect magic. Detect magic is such an amazing spell, while the former no self respecting caster could live without... no more runny egg stains on a shirt right before work! Arcane powered toothbrush? Yup! No time to shower? NO PROBLEM!

Uesugi: I think I qualify for the first boon off the card now as well.. nothing great, but man the last one is very very group friendly! Go back to a site to complete a missed prestige point for the entire group!

Damn, and here I am always used to being the youngest. I'm 31 and the group I GM is all 40-45+. I occasionally get flak when they start talking about films and TV from the 70s and 80s and I have no idea what they're talking about!

As an aside, thanks for making me research this a bit more.

I just realized that my GM Baby Bubbles the Hellknight needs to switch to Dark Archive since she has never been played. I've been worrying all this time about how to qualify for the Hell Knight Prestige Class, and now I see that there is a vanity that would let me just join the Hell Knights anyway for Dark Archive folks.

This way I can devote my resources to being an awesome shaman who happens to be a Hellknight instead of wasting a whole bunch of feats to join a prestige class of which the only thing I want is the title.

OMG Hellknights do not sing party tunes be forewarned!

Maybe we'll have to -make- hellknights sing a merry tune.

Or in the very least, have them sing a tune about arresting evildoers.

PS, I'm very jealous of you all that leveled up. How important is it that I even out that .5xp I now have? I would think that for the most part we all should be the same level at the end of this next module correct? With maybe slightly different xp totals?

Uesugi and Sirettis would also be able to level after this part. The three of us actually started at the same time, so we have the exact same amount of experience. Come to think of it, Uesugi and Gallix have been together their entire careers, for all the same missions. I'm sensing a bromance!

Peppers, don't feel too jealous. Level 3 is largely stat bonuses for Gallix (improvements to CMB/CMD on Dirty Tricks, FCB to improve CMD vs trip/grapple, etc.). I did pick up a style feat which will make Gallix even more deadly when he starts stepping around enemies, though. That's mostly table-setting for level 5. Then shenanigans will really kick off. Level 4 will bring some fun new effects on my mutagen too.

What sort of mutagen effects? Level 4 gives me lvl 2 spells which makes me happy. Level 5 gives a good power boost with the exploit and feat. At some point I'm going to need to put more resources into survival... hp levels with an 11 con and a d6 is... frightening.

At 4th I'll get low-light vision and +10 to my base speed when I use my mutagen. The low-light improves to darkvision at 9th, and I'll get a climb speed.

HP levels are definitely scary as a caster, but I'm kinda terrified at the prospect of Mr. Peppers with lvl 2 spells.
