Sargon The War Sage |

I haven't seen this combination of spells before: dazing aqueous org, then hungry pit. I know the foe is dazed and unable to take an action but I think he is still entitled to the reflex save. Anyone know the answer or have the citation handy?
Yeah he gets a save, however he is dazed for 3 rds. So...Sargon rolls the ball into the pit again(Ref 27)

baldwin the merciful |

Dragox hacks and slashes at the creature inside the watery ball, he is chants a holy war hymn as his strong arms attempt to deal the deathstroke. to his disgust only one attack hits.
Mewanwhile, Sargon tries to push the large watery ball into the pit to crush the foe.
reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
But the watery grave is apparently too large for the pit.
RD 4: Baddie
He is does nothing but his in activity ends this round.

Sargon The War Sage |

Sadly I cannot view the map at work, if possible Sargon will roll the Aqueous Orb down the hall looking for any other nasties

baldwin the merciful |

Rey studies the creature.
Spirit nagas delight in places of death and desolation. Battle-scarred ruins, untended graveyards, despoiled forests, and tangled swamps all attract these repulsive creatures. Where guardian nagas favor places of innate sanctity, spirit nagas seek out places of fundamental corruption, sites they believe to be imbued with dark magics. The crypts of long-dead tyrants, the death places of great heroes, and the ruins of nefarious keeps all attract these wretched serpents.
Most spirit nagas believe themselves to be the inheritors of some mysterious dark favor, seeing their innate magical talents as evidence of such. Most commune with vague powers of death and devastation, working profane rights and seeking grotesque auguries from cultic forces. To aid them, spirit nagas often use their enchanting gaze, changing victims into fawning fanatics and would-be sacrifices.

baldwin the merciful |

Omar you search the snake like creature and realize that it does not wear or possess any equipment. This creature was using it's natural abilities to fight. In searching the large room you do find an ornate brass and ivory chest that is propped open. It is overflowing with coin and gems.
An appraise check.

Sargon The War Sage |

Sargon will cast Detect Magic on the chest and it's contents

Reyondelee |

As Rey solidifies back into her physical form she breathes a heavy sigh. Ahhhh, do you know how hard it is for a woman that has made her living by her voice and dance to be trapped in a form of vapor?! She asks no one in particular. This creature you killed, I've actually encountered something akin to it before, and have studied them before. It is a spirit naga. With that Rey conveys as much knowledge as she has about the dead serpent witch, helping her comrades in arms to understand the nature of the beast. Please see the Rey spoiler in this post for full details.
Omar, be careful, the bottom of the chest could be trapped unto itself.

baldwin the merciful |

Rey speaks her warning to Omar but he is quite confident there are not traps under the chest or visible for the exterior.
Essentially you have an open chest filled with coin and gems which has is radiating magic from under neat the coin/gems.
I'll wait a bit to see if Sargon is doing anything else before Omar digs on it.

Sargon The War Sage |

Sargon will inform the group that the chest does have a spell on it that has all the markings of the conjuration school (His specialty)

Sargon The War Sage |

Omar, what it means is that there is an aura of the conjuration school somewhere in that chest, If you wish I could rummage around in it with the same spell I used to pick up the first key
Mage Hand

Sargon The War Sage |

No Problem, let's all back away a bit from this chest Sargon will cast Prestidigitation and begin scooping out the contents of the chest.
Sargon will put as much of his body around the corner as he can
Sorry,I cannot see the map at work

baldwin the merciful |

Sargon starts to scoop out handfuls of coin and gems, then midway into the chest the straps wound around a leather bag emerge. With a bit more digging you can clearly observe the sturdy looking folded leather bag. there is bed of coin and gems under the bag.

Reyondelee |

Reyondelee examines the bag as carefully as she can from a distance.
Appraise: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
She also jots down a few notes on her map.
Craft Mapmaking: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Sargon The War Sage |

Did my Aqueous Orb Hit anything else as I rolled it down the hall we are in?

baldwin the merciful |

Dragox |

"Can we dump all that good into the bag of holding? There's no way we can travel through all of these traps lugging a huge chest like that."

baldwin the merciful |

Omar turns over the open bag and gives it a little shake. Out topples a wand, two dark leather scroll cases, a small oak and iron box.
On examination of the scroll cases you can that they are waterproof and handsomely made. Each are engraved with scenes of great battlefield scenes.
The small oak and iron box is lacquered but is otherwise plain.
The wand is made of mangrove wood.

Reyondelee |

After examining the coins, Rey looks to Dragox and says, Dragox, I think we're looking at about 1,200 worth of platinum all told between the various coinage and the gems.

Dragox |

"Well, that's a worthy amount of treasure right there! A few more chests like hat and we will be taking the WorldWound by storm!"

Sargon The War Sage |

Sargon will cast Identify on the items
