The Last Prophet of Azlant

Game Master Tyrn Jade

This story takes place in the year 4720 in the world of Golarion, six years after the current year in the Pathfinder universe. Our heroes are field commissioned by the mysterious Pathfinder Society to find a series of artifacts and a Taldan boy who is believed to be a descendant of Aroden. Their motives are unknown but the pay is convincing enough to attract even the noblest of individuals. Enjoy a setting where fanatical dwarves uncover the mysteries of firearms and explosives, and the reclusive Technic League emerges as a recognized power in the Inner Sea Region. This campaign will take you all over Golarion, full of extensive or abbreviated dungeon delves, immersive exploration, shocking and interactive battle mechanics, and an overarching plot that will bring to end an unwritten chapter in the Pathfinder universe. This campaign is rated R (sex, use of drugs and alcohol, gore and violence, and swearing).

Please post all major out of character (OOC) comments in this thread. Exchange ideas, discuss battle plans, or just talk about yourselves as much as you want!

Nice! I like the picture. Very fitting for your character :)

Floating glimmering translucent neon butterfly trail ;)

Grant, if ya don't mind, can you post what you have written here in the Gameplay tab? That way your profile gets added to the Players tab.

Player Character coming shortly...

We live in the Age of Stars, the Golden Age of the Cosmos!

K so I'm a newb and realized my stargazing sorc should be an alias not my profile. So I created Kajiiata Aurora to be him and renamed my main account Kajiiata Zero. I get it...
PS Robin thought a graduated cylinder was a bong earlier this evening.

Whaaaaa?!?!?! Hahaha. That's beautiful.

"'Dat ware shmoke cum frum, HMMM!"

So Grant. Before we get postin', I'll give ya kind of the typical way to post, such as posting dialogue, inner thoughts, "out of character" dialogue, and so forth. I can care less if you want to use these standards. It's just a little helpful to have it consistent with all players.

So, for posting dialogue, I like to use quotes and make the text bold for the parts that are actually spoken out loud. If you want to express "inner thoughts" or just things that would be going through Kajiiata's head, then those are usually just italicized. Normal text would be just the narrative part of the post. For comments that are coming from Grant and not Kajiiata, you want to use the "out of character" html, which will be shown as "ooc" where they show you the coding to use. I think that covers the basics. So in summation...

"Dialogue."
Inner thoughts.
Narrative of the post.
Out of character comment.

But like I said, you don't have to if you don't want to. It's the least of my concerns.

There's this too:

**Linky-poo**

Idk. I checked this out a while after I had been posting but it's still pretty helpful. Some of it doesn't apply cuz, well, this is our f~&&ed up little game and we can say/do whatever since we already know what is/isn't offensive.

Enjerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, byrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrchez!

Well I see I did dialogue kind of wrong... I used the HTML but it seems to work for that multi character post I did. Yeah so.my first post lacks.substance and story, but I think it's good to role play a little. I love dialogue lol. I'm tired and as I lack a Ring of Nourishment or Polypurpose Panacea IRL my next post will have to come.tomorrow or Saturday :(

No worries, guy. It reads good! When this ball gets a'rollin' you'll have a better example of the conventions Marc and I use. You can choose whether or not to conform to those standards based on your own styles.

Here's my alias, b~%*%es! Get ready for some Lannister-esque Lawful Nuetral cuz I'll be playing it up. HARD!

You're good, Grant. That was very readable and that's really all I care about. John, I'm digging this gentleman. Can't wait to toy with your sense of honor... >:-D

WABAJUBUWABALU!!!!

May have done the damage for the second arc wrong. The description is confusing... but the way I did it is iffy because potentially the second arc could do more damage. So I say dismiss my second arc roll and just halve the original. Or whatever you think is best. I am a newb and I ain't know after all.

Hahaha. Yes, you would just do half of the first (and only) die damage to the second goon. You wouldn't roll separately for each one to my understanding.

Yeah that's what I originally thought. I just got confused because the description reads:
"Therefore, at 9th level, your burning arc deals 9d6 points of fire damage to the primary target, then 4d6 points of fire damage to a secondary target, then 2d6 points of fire damage to an additional target."

I guess the second and third dice rolls are assumed to be 4d6 and 2d6 because they do half and a quarter damage respectively. But the language there almost makes it sound like you're supposed to roll again, bringing on the potential for secondary and tertiary doing more damage than the arc that proceeded it and omg I'm engaging in a discussion about the queer rules of DND.

Half damage makes sense, the GM declared it to be true, End O'Story.

Though I revoked that statement via text with you. The book rules STAAAAAY!!!! ::calls down thunder::

Whelp:

Burning Arc wrote:
Blah... It deals 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 10d6). For every additional target the discharge arcs to, reduce the number of damage dice by half (rounded down)... blah blah.

I think you did it right the way it's posted, Grant.

O man, Grant, it gets even better when disagreements on arbitrary words and interpretations boil into personal attacks! The boards on here are filled with crazy s@#$ like that. It's pretty great. I f!!*ing LOVE D&D!

Marc - give up your flower drawing classes and post, y'turrrrd!

I don't think I've EVER drawn a flower for my academics. I did draw a mushroom.

I will probably post tonight. Once I get my article done. No worries, gents. John, I'll get ya up to speed. Your intro won't be as long as Grant's. His is kind of a tutorial so it's taking a little longer, plus, I accidentally threw some decent enemies at him. The best way to learn is the hard way. I'm t'rowin' his ass in the fire.

There's also this... F*&@ing crazy b~!~+

Yeah, I've asked you a hundred times what your major is but all I can remember is something about a report on pot. *shrugs*

And, dude, that video is probably the greatest thing that happened to me today! I made my coworkers huddle around my computer to watch it and it was f!$!ing awesome!

"Don't make me assume my ultimate form."

Just... WTF? I don't even... It's just brilliant! Thank you <3

Yo yo yo. Please let me know if this link works :)

Glorp!

Hey so not only is my new super Phablet on its way, but my boss's mom gave me her ancient computer which actually runs decently! So hizzah, I can post once more!

I've reclaimed a small portion of my life from the abyss (not having a PC for 17 months), time to rejoice!

Also, your map link works for me now. It didn't work on my phone, of course. And trying to load that on the old PC was not feasible. Nice work!
