"If this goes on... I might have to have a word with this pompous idiot when this crowd disperses. Don't wait up, and make an excuse if needed. This might take a while"
She sighs where she stands. Looking at this idiot. He was digging a very big pit, only to test it's depth himself. She might have to pull him out. If he wants to or not.

Jenya P. |

You gots some fine words Grigori Jenya speaks up to add to what Miyuki said But this is a hard land, more suited for people who do rather than talk. Were you here when the bandit lord who made living in this region impossible was killed and his bandits driven off? Did you bleed and nearly die to do that like Raven, head priestess of Pharasma, did? Were you here to help build the castle alongside all the people of Emermark like all of us Founders did? Were you here when we expanded the settled lands of this place and seeded farms all the way to the Sycamore Tree? Were you here when the dragon and the worg who preyed on us were hunted down and destroyed by us to ensure all of our safety? When a merchant on these very streets was saved from the werewolf? Were you here when our Councillor Chief White Eagle went out to search as soon as he heard of Tig Tonnerson being lost and how our Treasurer Sebastien nearly died to save him? No. You weren't. So's as far as I'm concerned you can take your pretty words and shove them up your backside. Jenya horks and spits to the side to show what she thinks of the bard.

Kyras LeBlanc |

He was digging a very big pit, only to test it's depth himself.
Figuratively speaking yes, but yours truly can make the pit a reality, liking the idea if this fatman goes on.

Zartana |

"Now now, let the man speak, I like to hear as every shovel full of dirt is thrown, every syllable dig a pit. He is very amusing at this point"
She gives the bard a smile. A smile with a promise

Too easy ;)

Zartana |

"Nope, i think this guy is nuts or just new. If there was anything like this in works or brewing, i'm sure i would have heard of i t by now"

Anton Medvyed |

Coming to the unusual meeting, Anton quickly understand there is something going wrong, and decide to speak to the crowd too.
"Brothers, Sisters, you surely know that we spent a lot of time in this land, exploring them first, opening them to be settled by chasing and hunting dangerous beasts, like the dragon that Lady Miyuki, I and others Founders, killed in the last days. You know that I, Anton, serve you as High Priest, and not only as member of the Church of Erastil, helping you in the farms that provide us food, hunting in the forest, giving you all the spiritual aid you should need. Ask Tig Tonnerson's parents who rescued their child, ask everyone who lives around here, ask yourself, if the founders aren't working here shoulders to shoulders with you for the best of all the community.
Diplomacy: Aid Miyuki: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Grigori is unable to refute Miyuki's claims, especially with Jenay laying the ground for her in advance.
"Well friends," he calls out."It seems I'd better move on for now. Your vaunted leaders aren't so keen on hearing what the people have to say.
He gets down from his box and begins to make a hasty retreat. As the crowd begins to disperse you hear several people grumbling, but not all are in support of the Founders, it seems more than a few of the citizenry were keen to hear what Grigori was telling them.

Matsu Miyuki |

Speaking low "Zartana, I would be quite displeased if this chap were to have any accidents on "our" land. On the other side, I think he deserves a decent shadow and you are so very capable of doing so!"
Speaking louder"I can see you still feel that you need our support. Rest assured for the next days I and everyone willing will join you and together we will build something new for our town. I might not be the strongest man, or the craftiest carpenter, but I am sure I am able enough to help with the stew and clean the pots!"

Raven of Bonespire |

Raven nods at her heart-sister.

Unmolested Grigori leaves the castle courtyard. a few townspeople, stop him, they appear to be his supporters and encourage him eagerly.
He heads along to a guest-house. This simple home is not so accommodating as an inn, but since the town has none of those it is the closest thing travelers have to rented accommodations. In fact, members of the Worg Hunters quickly note this is the exact place Kundal was staying.
He heads inside as night falls, and does not set foot outside until morning.

Jenya P. |

To the other Founders in Private.
Man's obviously not a 'wandering bard'. Met a few of those and they ain't as finely dressed or as fat as he is. Is someone trying to undermine Emermark? Who owns that guest-house anyway?

Zartana |

"I personally think this is an insurgent. This was not brewing. This might have been planned before he got here. Hence i did not know of it."
To Raven
[b]"You know me. Careful. I wont make a mess. Professional i am. Or i think i am. Dont worry sister.

Sebastian Callen |

"Occasional? I think not. We need to know who he is and where he came from. Now. Emermark hasn't done anything significant enough or grown to be a threat to anyone. To the North, we have our charter from Restov itself. East and West, we have open spaces. To the South, Mivon exists, but there is a lot of territory between us and them as yet. No, this man was sent here with a purpose, and we need to know what that was."

Zartana |

Test: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Jenya P. |

The next morning.
So wait, he never came out of his room? This stinks of magic. Can we make sure that's the case? Nothing we say will convince folks that've convinced themselves we're engaging in some conspiracy but we've got to figure it out for ourselves

Kyras LeBlanc |

Leaving his room, he catches Jenya's mention.
"Hn, i tought i 'eard sometin. So 'e disappeared 'uh, while it's logical to look at de ones a disappeared person opposed, to look beyond common sense is just stupid. We'd gain nottin by makin 'im disappear."

Jenya P. |

That's real reasonable Kyras. Any chuckle head that was taken by the fat man's fool words left reason behind a little while ago though.
Jenya will ask their retainers if they have any insight on Grigori.. where he might have come from where he might have gone.

Jenya P. |

Realizing she's no good at that sort of stuff Jenya will ASK if someone else can ask their retainers about Grigori Jenya ain't no diplomat
I'm not exactly personable, but I am pretty good at spotting stuff. We need to go to his room and search around. Anyone else feel like coming? 'specially someone who can figure out magic tricks
We can take 20 in the room right?

Zartana |

"I can see magic, but i can not deceipher them. I will come along. This makes me curious too. Maybe we can find some clues about him and his motifs"

Sebastian Callen |

"I would suggest that our leadership meaning the folks with Diplomacy gather the people and speak. Reassure them that Grigori came and left of his own accord." The warpriest pauses, thinking about his next words.
"In the larger picture, we need to decide if we will allow all free speech, even that which may be critical of our rule. If not, then we need to make that policy clear to the people. I for one, do not believe that unfettered free speech is a good thing. Letting the mob be swayed by anyone with the personality to move them cannot be good for our fledgling fiefdom. On the one hand, we can allow them to air their grievances, but open rabble rousing must be kept in check."

Lorald Orlovsky |

Lorald and the others return to Freewater. He speaks to Natalya concerning her condition before being approached by a Green Feather, reporting the recent arrival and disappearance of a wanderer. He thinks it best to get Natalya help before dealing with any other issues. But he intends to catch up on things, it seemed returning was the right choice. Things were getting out of hand.
Hey guys :)

Natalya Artemisa |

Natalya's horse trails after Lorald's, and she looks much the worse for wear as she dismounts. Dark circles under her eyes and a gaunt, drained look about her.
She smiles tightly at any founder she sees
Nice to be back, believe me!
she looks around
So what has been happening here? There seems to be disquiet...and can anyone point me in the direction of Raven please?

Raven of Bonespire |

Natalya finds Raven canvassing Freewater, especially her faithful, regarding the arrival and departure of Grigori.

Chief White Eagle |

sorry all fro the silence, there was not much CWE could have offered concerning this gregori fellow, however Elangomat would have kept watch all night on where he was staying so. should I make any checks if he saw anything?

In the morning CWE receives word of this speaker's disappearance.
He checks with Elangomat for any information that he may have found and then follows any leads. tracking the man to see where he is headed.

Natalya Artemisa |

Raven...
Natalya greets the cleric, her voice rather quieter than Raven last recalled.
Would you have a few moments please? In our last patrol we ran in to some fey, with her dying breath this dancing lady told me my strength would fail me, and it has. I feel weaker than a kitten right now
she looks glum
Lorald suggested I try to seek the aid of a priest, but my first thoughts were of you rather than those of Erastil's church, I know not why. Tell me, do you recognise the fey in question or the effect her words have had?
Natalya recounts a description of the Dancing Lady and the ensuing fight and her dying words

Carter Ma'Anubis |

Carter has spent most of the day helping the farmers with a problem in the soil.
Feel free to make something up.
He is still on call if needed, but other people seemed to have things well in hand.

Jenya P. |

Jenya approaches Carter. Hey Carter. I ordered in some weapon blanches. Pretty sure I know how to melt em over my bullets. But I think it'd go better if I used some better equipment than my kit. I think you're better equipped. Mind if I borrow some of your stuff?

Anton Medvyed |

Anton will resume his daily routine as Erastilian priest, praying in the morning with small community rites, and then going out helping in the farms or hunting; to help the locals families in need, giving counsels and so on... He will left the investigations to the others.
Sorry guys, I'm a bit overwhelmed with the exams studies and the class lessons in this days.

Carter Ma'Anubis |

He stands up from collecting a jar of dirt.
"Ya. No problem. I'm heading back to my lab to test this. I can help you out, if you want."
He pulls a bandage off of his wrist and ties it around the jar to keep the lid on.

Jenya P. |

Will someone magical help Turin with investigating the room? And are we fine with just barging in to search the place?
Sounds great. It's been a while since I worked with anything proper. Jenya heads with Carter to where he's set up his portable lab.

Matsu Miyuki |

Miyuki will dig into the reports with a vengeance, working first light till dead of the night to get a clear picture of the land, conferring with sebastian, other two leaders and the councellor how to best gain as much resources to develop their realm further.

Carter Ma'Anubis |

He leads to their dormitory building, and then to his room.
"Don't quite have much of an office yet, so I work from my room."
He props the bed on its side to make more room.
"The lab stuff is here. Don't touch anything that glows, moves, or has a bandage around it. Everything else is fine."
He sets the jar of dirt down on his desk.
There are two large tables in the room, a bed, a chair and a nightstand with a lamp.
One desk has a bevy of alchemical equipment, many of which are liquids in glass bottles, regualr equipment and a few books. The equipment is an even mix of biology and chemistry.
"There's a crucible and burner behind the jar with all the scalpels and leaves."

Turin thoroughly searches the room. It seems Grigori left in a hurry only a few clothes are missing, no note was left, nor was the bed made. This simple lodging does not offer much in the way for furnishings, but Turin finds that the work rug was several tread patterns on, indicating there were perhaps several people in here the night previous.
Raven asks up and down Freewater about Grigori's comings and goings. It seems he arrived just a few days after the Founders left last. We arrived from somewhere in the west. He never seemed eager to share details about himself. He played and sang for the people, always ready to spend coin on a round of drinks. It seems his orations built up slowly after asking pointed questions about the founders, and their activities. Most people find it very suspicious that he disappeared, without any notice, mere hours after verbally dueling with some of the Founders.
Elangomat kept a sharp eye on the rooming house, but saw no one come or go. Darkness is not his forte after all.
