...Rock me like a hurricane!
West of Freewater, along the Skunk river is a section of the Narlmarches. It only takes a few hours on the roads to reach the edge of Emermark, beyond that you enter the forest. It takes you most of the day to explore the hex.
As you are mapping the the riverbank you hear a noise coming from the underbrush and a sounder of 5 wild boars crash towards you.
Initiative
Group A: Boars!
Group B: Raven and Natalya
Anyone else who chooses to jump may do so after Raven and Natalya act.
I'm going to assume that you are mounted. The positioning doesn't exactly matter.
One of the boars runs past Raven's horse, throwing it's head about but the horse skirts around the boar's attack.
The other boar crashes directly into Natalya's horse, knocking it over and sending Natalya sprawling to the ground. Natalya please make a Ref save vs DC 12.
And then you are free to act.

Raven of Bonespire |

Raven draws her divine weapon and sends her will outward, visible in the dark energy eminating from her.
Channel Energy, exclude Natalya and Horses.
Channel Energy DC 13: 1d6 ⇒ 1

ref save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Natalya rolls out of her saddle and lands on her feet, one hand gripping her large blade. She runs towards the boar and slashes mightily
greatsword PA: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Oh bother >.<
melee fumble: 1d52 ⇒ 9 Pulled muscle doing: 1d4 ⇒ 3 strength damage
Her overzealous assault after all this time cooped up in a council chamber leaves much to be desired, as she completes her enthusiastic swing but has to hurriedly wrench the blade back on guard at the cost of her own screaming muscles to stop the boar chomping her leg with its teeth.

Hi all, just a quick note to say that Dunedin here in NZ has had record-breaking levels of flooding this last 24 hours so I've been otherwise occupied dealing with various minor-crises! Normal service will be resumed shortly ^.^

Natalya Artemisa |

Thank you for your best wishes :)
So a couple of days back we had literally 24 hours straight of heavy rain, it was 160mm total during that time! Apparently that's a 'once a century' event. An interesting middle to a week that started with a 4.7 quake 30km away and less than 5km deep! (Only lasted 10 seconds and at first I thought it was an animal on the roof until the walls started shaking!) Tis a good thing we've no active volcanoes down here else that would have been the trifecta for the week ;)
We got away quite lightly with just a few leaking windows, soggy carpet and a flooded garage. My neighbors weren't so fortunate, they had over two feet of water in their basement. One of my colleagues was awake at 3 in the morning digging a trench to try and divert the flood water from washing away the foundations of his house. One entire suburb (built on reclaimed land...) was several inches underwater! No casualties thankfully though, and things are slowly returning to normal :)

In our country we seldom have this issue since we build with bricks and cement and concrete.
Good luck. Hope not too much damage

Looking the the damage output of you people... i sometimes wonder why im doing more fluff than combat... but it makes things fun =^^=

That's ok Zartana, from next level onwards I will be completely disrupting both my BAB and spellcasting levels, all for the sake of fluff :p

my only "true combat" feat swill be at level 9 and 11. 7 and 13 are fluff feats... but oh the fluffyness :) ill be so close to a drow noble as i can get with feats and not the "race" :P
