Natalya rolls off her horse with practiced grace, but has some trouble bringing her sword into play.
Raven calls forth the power of the Raven Queen to heal Natalya's wounds. Let's say the prompt application of divine energy cuts that str damage down to 2, instead of three.
There are a few boars behind the first ones and they crash on through, one heading directly for Natalya, another aiming a Raven's mount.
The one coming at Natalya trips and actually rolls over, landing next to Natalya, prone. Raven's boar plows directly in to her horse. Make a a DC 12 Ref save.
It's you again.

Jenya P. |

Guess I'll jump in going west. Kinda appropriate. 5 boars though! Need more!
Grah! Boars. Have bad memories of boars
Jenya manoeuvers Murkey around to get within twenty feet of the one Raven is engaged with and shoots.

Natalya Artemisa |

Natalya feels something... Wonderful wash across her as Raven's dark energy blankets the area. With renewed vigor she stabs down hard at the boar before her.

Oh dice...really!? Lol

Natalya Artemisa |

I honestly don't know, never coup'd anything I don't think! Mardavig, I forgot to subtract str damage so -1 to both hit and damage sorry :s

Raven of Bonespire |

Reflex DC 12: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Really dice?
Raven grunted as she hit the ground hard, the weight of her armor adding to the impact. Not letting frustration get the better of her, she stands up, fending off the boars with Ravenclaw, that she had to reach out for and command the spirits near her to give back.

glad to have you Zartana, feel free to shoot a bolt at a boar if you like.
Natalya deeply wounds the boar before her, it squeals bloody murder.
@Jenya coup de grace requires the victim be helpless, not merely prone. So unconscious or restrained in some way.
Raven takes 4 damage before righting herself and setting herself to complete defense.
Two of the boars have run past you and are not coming back, one is dead, and one is heavily injured, leaving only one more.
The injured boar attacks Natalya, blood in it's eyes and ferocity fueling an attack that is as ferocious as it is pointless.
The Other boar squares off with Raven, but is unable to slip past her defenses.
Your turns again.

Raven of Bonespire |

Raven stares down the boar in front of her, Queen's Rage building inside of her. A heavy breath later, she reaches out with Ravenclaw and draws the edge of the blade towards its hide, a dark energy surrounding it.

Though sure her comrade's assaults have sorely wounded the beast, Natalya has heard stories of these boars fighting on like berserkers though mortally wounded. Taking no chances she plunged her blade back in to the animal.

The boar facing Raven begins to bleed out it's ears, eyes and mouth.
Zartana bloodies one of the fleeing boars with a shot from her crossbow.
Etienne chases down one of the fleeing boars (on his WYVERN, I feel like no one has really acknowledged that) and splits is in two with his lance.
Natalya beheads the facing her.
The only one left is the unlucky creature facing off against Raven. Blinded by blood and enraged it tries to gore her with it's tusks. Though it grazes her armour, she suffers no wound.
It's your turn again.

Jenya P. |

Jenya reloads with powder and shot and fires at the last one.

Jenya slaughters the last boar. There's meat on the menu tonight. After a day of exploring you enter the Narthropple camp with your boars in tow and a feast is quickly declared.
The gnomes prove exceptional hosts, sharing their fruity brandy and bawdy tales well into the night. The next morning you crawl out of your bedrolls and gather to decide where next to go.
West, along the Skunk river, is the grove of the Nixie, south west is the lair of the mad hermit, south east along the shore of the Tuskwater is the home of the witch.

Raven of Bonespire |

"Thanks for the assist little sister. ", Raven says as she pats Jenya on the shoulder.
Later, as they awaken from slumber, Raven prays to her Queen for Guidance and blessings. "You have seen us through yet another battle and we are much thankful for that. We seek to explore our environs that would further our cause in bringing life to this place. Bless us as we decide how best to proceed. "
When she returns to the breakfast discussion, "Do we know if that witch is a threat or simply someone for our people to avoid? Better yet, the hermit or the nixie? I've only met the witch once and it wasn't a most pleasant experience. "

Jenya P. |

Haven't heard of any problems from the witch. I think she just wants to be left alone to be honest. Maybe Miyuki could charm her some but she didn't seem happy about being bothered last time.

Natalya Artemisa |

Well, they are likely to have moved around at least a little since last seen, but some months ago I saw both a shambling mound and a troll to the north-west.
ventures Natalya
We might however be better served by 'starting afresh' and going back to basics, anyone handy with tracking?
she grins
I should say 'handier than me', I've found my own small woodcraft skills easily dwarfed by others in our company, and I defer to their expertise!

Raven of Bonespire |

"Thank you my Queen. ", Raven says smiling and bowing towards the raven. "Maybe we should head northwest, see if those threats are still there. These others appear to be harmless, but I'd rather not have such as trolls wandering around."

Jenya P. |

North West sounds fine to me. I'll take on the tracking Jenya says as she nods to Natalya.

Of course the gnomish brandy seems to have done a number on her mental acuity at the moment.

Raven of Bonespire |

Raven can barely contain her excitement as the thought of a worthy legendary enemy brims on the horizon. "I presume we are prepared to fight such a beast?"
-Posted with Wayfinder

Natalya Artemisa |

Well done Jenya, good tracking!
Natalya ponders the party's options
Yes, let's go west. And Raven, that's a remarkably good point, who here can summon or produce acid or fire?

The next day you head west, into the area where Tiressia the dryad is known to make her home.
As you travel through the woods you all hear a sound coming from the brush. There is a roar and then a a large beast leaps from the cover of the forest onto your path. This is a 10 foot long, 1000 lbs. predator, with the face of a human, the body of a lion, it has bat wings and a long tail bristling with spikes.
Despite it's unsubtle approach the creature actually gains top initiative. It's bat wings flap and it leaps into the air and then sails towards Etienne in a swooping glide.
It's human mouth is filled with sharp fans and it catches Etienne in its jaws. He takes 9 damage from the attack. It then flies past him and ends it's move behind your party. It turns to face and roars again, blood dripping from it's maw.
Everyone is on the same initiative, so feel free to act as you prefer.

Jenya P. |

What the hells is that thing?
Jenya manoevers to get to a 20 foot distance from the beast and fires.

"Hope you like idea of being a wall ornament!"
She begins to take aim at the monstrosity

You have slain a manticore.
That night you meet the dryad Tiressi in her grove and she complements you on riding the forest of that beast. She also confirms that a troll has passed nearby of late, going northwest.
That night she shares with you a wine made from maple sap, another delicious and potent concoction. Her satyr lover plays the pipes for you.
