Likewise; on the one hand, it'd probably go more quickly the second time, but on the other hand I have some other APs I'd like to run more. Once I have time, that is.

Looks like we still have some die-hard 1e players here, and while I have dipped my toes into 2e, it just isn't clicking with me. I am also a big fan of CORE, so... perhaps against my better judgement... I am willing to run a mega-dungeon with Core rules!
If you are interested, come to this recruitment thread and let me know.

Aww yea. (Emerald Spire if it wasn't clear in his post.)
Thank you very much Fuzzfoot.

Hey everyone! I am currently running a set of 3 modules in adveture mode. Meaning slightly edited modules and some character creation changes. Good for doing something not PFS legal for the first 6 levels.
I am looking for two players. We dropped one, but I figured we could expand a bit. Currently the party is about to enter the Crypt of Everflame (eveegren module). Or are very close to doing so.
Let me know if you are interested
HERE.
One of the other players is currently traveling, so we have some time for the recruitment process. I'll stop accepting responses in 72 hrs from the time of this post, and then do a lottery.
Edit. Sorry, I should have specified. These would be fresh characters. As I mentioned, character creation will be different from PFS.

I had to double check.
Ruins of Bonekeep, Level One: The Silent Grave
Levels 3 - 7
Ruins of Bonekeep Level 2: Maze of the Mind Slave
Levels 3 - 7
Ruins of Bonekeep Level 3: The Wakening Tomb
Levels 5 - 9
My only level 7 core character is my Wizard and I can't find my folder for them so looks like no Bonekeep for me.

Alright everyone, I have decided to take 2 people into the module series. We currently have 3 players, and I am keeping a slot open for a potentially returning player.
1 - Noral or GM Nowruz
2 - AGamer70
3 - Ed Birnbryer
4 - Harry (Skorn)
Good luck!
2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
AGamer70, Harry (Skorn), I will drop you a PM with the thread.
Alright, it was a 50-50 chance. Thank you for participating, and good luck in the next one!

I had a great time running this one twice over VTT, so time for a PbP run methinks 😉
I am recruiting for Season 1: #32 Drow of the Darklands Pyramid (7-11) for NostalgiaCon 2022, which kicks off on January 10, 2022.
The game will be run in Conventional (non-core) mode on a First Come, First Served basis.
If you are interested, please provide the requested information on the Recruitment Page.

Reminder for you all - adventure mode series of 3 modules, currently running Crypt of Everflame
Character creation based on post HERE
Just as a note NotEspi, Crypt of the Everflame cannot be run in campaign mode, only those modules whose sanctioning documents specify that they can be are allowed for that and unfortunately the Crypt ones are just the chronicle sheets.

Tier 1-2 / Wounded Wisp - Recruitment link
This game is part of the upcoming PbP NostalgiaCon convention and will run January 10 - March 6, 2022.
Seats at this game will be filled with a preference for players that are new to play by post or who have not played/GMed this scenario before.
Thank you!

Alright, I'll bite. Can you point me to one AP or module that is sanctioned? Because I was looking for the specifications in multiple modules, but did not find Adventure or Campaign mode noted anywhere.
When looking for Adventure or Campaign mode on paizo site, I only find a PFS2 doc (that does not apply here, however - I intend to play 1st edition), and when looking at the latest PFS Guild Guide, it references URLs that seem to not exist anymore.
So what exactly am I looking for in the chronicle doc? Is there a list of modules sanctioned for adventure/campaign mode?
More than willing to move this into discussion, by the way. I feel like it may be a longer one.

Hi NotEspi
Here is the PFS1 additional resources document.
(I do wish that there was an easy to find link on the website - I saved this via a list a while ago).
The sanctioned modules are all listed, along with links to their chronicle sheets and special rules. This is where you find out which allow Campaign Mode - the special rules will say if they are.

As a "rule of thumb" it's the "newer/longer" after Dragon's Demand that are for campaign mode. At least that's my "take"

Each one is different so you need to read over its sanctioning document.
For example the Kingmaker sanctioning document states:
LEGAL PATHFINDER SOCIETY CHARACTERS
There are two ways to receive credit for the Kingmaker Adventure Path: Event Mode and Campaign mode.
In Event mode, all players must use an existing Pathfinder Society character (without modification) within the legal character levels range for the specific Kingmaker adventure being played.
Alternatively, if you are participating in the Kingmaker Adventure Path with an ongoing group undertaking the entire, six-chapter campaign, you are playing in Campaign mode.

Campaign mode is available for all sanctioned Adventure Paths and for Pathfinder Modules that specifically include this option in their sanctioning documents.
An example that specifically allows for non-PFS characters is Seers of the Drowned City:
All players must use an existing Pathfinder Society character (without modification) within the legal character levels range for the specific sanctioned portion of the adventure being played.
Alternatively, you may play the entirety of Seers of the Drowned City, afterward receiving credit for playing the sanctioned portions of the adventure as if you had played a pregenerated character. In this case, GMs running the module are not bound to the rules of the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild (such as 20-point buy, unavailability of hero points, etc.) when running the campaign or the sanctioned portion of the adventure. Pathfinder Society characters and characters playing through this alternative format may not play in the same adventure.

And here is the clarification about which ones have campaign mode.
Nohwear wrote:So, do ALL modules now have a campaign mode? Including The Emerald Spire and the smaller modules? The new guide seems to say so, but I would really appreciate an official answer. Or at least let me know if you are thinking on it.The guide is written so that we may include a campaign mode in either Adventure Paths or Modules as they are sanctioned. Each sanctioning document will list the particular modes for the sanctioned AP or module. So no, it is not universal, it depends on each individual piece.

Ire of the Storm also allows for campaign mode, starts at 1st level, and is a natural prelude to Seers. The two modules are both fun.
Seers has a sidebar called Ire of the Storm 2.

Sorry for the delay, I only just had time to log on and respond, but it looks like everyone else has covered pretty much all the info in the meantime! Just trying to make sure you get to run it right so that there's no issues with chronicles or such later on, hopefully the game is still a ton of fun for everyone :)

I still have one (or maybe two if Tere doesn't want in) spots for the CORE run of Bonekeep in NostalgiaCon.
IF you are interested, check in here
The thing we are really missing at the moment is divine.
We'll be playing higher tier (6-7) but I'd take a level 5.
I have a preference for real characters over pregens for this.

I'm recruiting for a CORE run of PFS 6-15, The Overflow Archives, for NostalgiaCon. Recruitment thread is HERE.
I'll take the first six characters in subtier; so far I have a 3rd level character, so it could go either way.
