These are the feats in order that I want to take them. Basically I just want the SLA's. We can play the fluff however you want. Perhaps I was once from a noble house that fell a long time ago. Alternately, since I am playing a ChA based caster perhaps I am just gifted thusly. Frankly, I think if we just change the name of the feats it'll fall in line with your view of Drow males. Your call though.

** spoiler omitted **...

I don't mind uf yiu take those.

Sweet! Do you have a preference on how to change the Fluff or is the reason essentially unknown to me? Bel's charismatic, but not overly bright. He may never connect the fact that his SLA's are much like that of the noble. He, however, can also summon stuff. ;-)

I am going to have to withdraw. I am spending too much time in the other PbP's I am in. I really wanted a chance to be evil too. :(

Grand Lodge

Oooh. Bye Mr. Swagger. We'll miss you.

My character sheet of Quizzle the Quickling Rogue is available for GM perusal. (I previously posted as Apocalypso.)

Background is here for other players' consideration of how we might come to work together. Essentially Quizzle's talents at sneaking and spying are available for hire.

Spoiler:
Description Quizzle is a slight, blue-skinned, 2 1/2' blue fey creature. Even when still, she's always in motion. And when speaking, she often has to be reminded to slow down. When excited her speech can reach a high-pitched buzz.

She wears little but a rag dress and boots, with an odd collection of sparkling stones and feathers and items attached with twine.

Background Amongst her cruel and anti-social people, Quizzle is considered strange. She has a fascination with travel, adventure, and other races. Like all quicklings, she adores treasure, especially in the form of sparkling gems and magical items. But she is often more interested in the devious games used to obtain them, then the treasure itself. This caused deep disappointment in her parents, who wondered why she couldn't simply kill for plunder like everyone else. Each parent blamed the other for some brownie or pixie heritage that distorted young Quizzle's mind.

Undeterred, Quizzle continued to follow other strange and unusual races and observe them. Often she played elaborate pranks to get them to abandon or surrender their treasure.

All of her wildest fantasies came to life, when she spied a dark-skinned elf for the first time (Jarlaxle?) She watched with delight as he wove the most intricate plots she had ever seen. Fascinated, she followed him to his underdark home, where she observed his dealings with the duergar (boring) the svirfneblin (delightful!) the illithid (ick!) and most exciting of all --the drow.

An ecstatic Quizzle had finally decided what to be when she grew up; a devious overlord of her own group of rogues, outcasts, and miscreants. But first, she had to learn more of the twisted races of the underdark, especially the drow. But where to start?

The Drow mother matriarch Zalazra Qlinzra coughs a moment into a fine cloth, Then looking down with utter disdain a the Drow male before her, says
"Luaediin Or'danel, you know your full weath to me, do what you say well and our house shall prevail crushing all others, Fail and I will feed your still living hart to my Demon, wile you look on"

She coughs again and her Armor sniffs the air at the words, food is close.

She's coughing again. She thinks she is sooo powerful yet she can't even fix a simple cough. Makes me wonder if it isn't the armor using her instead of the other way around. Note to self, don't wear armor if I don't know exactly who made it.

Naal'suul continues to read her book as though nothing around could possibly threaten her.

We are suppossed to get a new mission soon. I wonder what it is. Perhaps another slave raid.

Does anyone even recognize the name? If not, you should read Drowtales, A Moonless Age. Not forgotten realms drow but definitely more people-like and interesting.

Belgraen lounges in a nearby inn. It's quite early (relatively speaking), but yet he's drinking. His centuarian lizard creature lounges around his chair, but it's eyes are ever alert. He moves to pour himself another, but the bottle is empty. He lol's his head to the right and eyes the bottles behind the bar. After a moment he waves his hand and the target bottle of his desire flies into his hand. He concentrates on the bottle a moment (detect poison) then pops the cork and pours himself another glass. He puts his feet on the table and takes a sip. *fade to black*

Forgot traits. I took two world magic so I could have the Prestidigitatin feat. I didnt realize that it wasnt on the summoner list and it's one of my favorites. Also too reactionary. Kind of makes sense for a drow. Also changed a little gear so he could afford an unslotted earring of detect poison. ;-)

Belgraen was born a slave. His mother used to brag that he was of a noble lineage, but Belgraen never paid it much mind. She was clearly a bit mad in the head. She ended up being sacrificed when he was barely 5 years of age. Belgraen was considered a prize slave for his appearance and his minor arcane gifts. Most of his toil was indoors and he learned much about the house that owned him. Around puberty Bel began to have very vivid dreams. They were the same night after night. Over time he came to realize that the dreams were a ritual of some kind and he would always see a reptilian face hovering in the darkness of his mind. One day he decided to try it and see. Sure enough out of the shadows Owen emerged. A centuarian lizard creature. Owen told Bel of his hidden potential and how to bring it out. Through use of his abilities an guile Bel became aware of a plot to bring down his owners house. Belgraen quietly facilitated as much as he could, mostly through feeding the rival house information anonymously. When the time came Belgraen used his abilties to escape as he knew slaves of conquered houses were rarely treated well if they were even allowed to live. He's lived ever since as a mercenary and a petty thief, though he uses his minions to do the heavy lifting.

Able to use drows SLA's at will, unlimited times per day... a bit OP don't ya think? Guess its your game DM, but if thats the case I may change my feats up a bit as well..

Terakeer is crouched above his training field, knelt on one kneed some 40ft above his talentless pupils... All failures, every last one of them... The weapons master expects me to teach these maggots how to use sword play and magic without getting themselves killed.. He expects a miracle from Lloth herself;

The arcane swordsman leaps down to surprise a group of 5 pupils. Landing in the middle of them with his sword drawn and banded hand raised. Grinning he lets loose a burning hands spell while slashing across two of his adversary's midsection. Leaving gashes across their stomachs which ignite in flames miliseconds later. Watching them double over in pain attempting to roll out their wounds fires, he grins. Turning his head to stare down the two remaining maggots,

Who's next?

Unlimited SLA's are only Noble drow. Not the one's we're playing.

But didn't you take those feats? Even though he's not allowing you to be a noble? I'm not fully up to date on all the new feats or most anything aside from the CRB; but thats how I understood it... That he is allowing you to use those feats even though your not 'noble'... If I'm wrong, plz explain... Thanks

The Drow mother matriarch Zalazra Qlinzra Sits in her war tent, looking at a pile of papers, she slammed down her fist on to them, the house slave in front of her looked up shocked it had stopped cleaning her shield. She waves a hand to show she not showing displeasure with it.

Way was it was always the same, she had been waiting for days, soon they will send for her and another impossible, near suicide mission would be dropped in her lap, O she know who was behind this and one day they would pay, but for now it was her task to do the impossible yet again.

The list of reports where of members of the army and others who she could call on to make up her next team. The last one being so decimated to two who had lived where of no use any more. She picked up a sheet, Some in this pile of names, she had work with before. Brutal, cruel and professional, she may have to call them in if this one was a bad one.

She placed the paper back on the pile and got up, looked around her tent, its opulence meant nothing to her. Objects like Drow where tools to be used, nothing more nothing less, the house must prevail. Even if some with in its higher ranks felt that using her in this way would help that. Fools if she did not do some thing soon they would bring it all crashing down, shot sighted fools. But she had not survived this long with out knowing how the game was played, she had seen other come and go but she was till here. Now what she needed to do was forge this next team into some thing she could trust, some thing she could use, yes. then who knows.

She sat back down.

1st how ever they had to survive the next impossible mission what ever that may be.

I took two feats so my SLA's are presently two times per day. If I take another they'll be at will. For a three feat investment I don't think a few at will SLA's are going to be game breaking. ;-) What you'll need to watch out for are my summoned beheamoths. ;-)

Wat feats? Got you them twice a day? I want them, can
i find them on the pfsrd?

Lantern Lodge

The race guide has feats so you can play a race then take feats to upgrade your innate abilities.

If you are still looking for players, I am interested.... I have been playing since the very last days of AD&D 1E...

Liberty's Edge

Hello, I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware  that we are starting tomorrow. I have a few expectations as a GM, and in turn, I will try to keep them.
First off, if you have problems with any people, or anything I say, bring it up in discussion. I don't want people dropping because so and so did this. So basically, be mature.
Second off, I need a clean, and strong RP feel. I love to RP, and will have long posts. I understand if you don't have time, just try. Also, watch your language. Drop to many Cuss words, and I will drop you.
Third, please, use some kind of spell-check, and make sure to read over what you say.
Fourth, make sure to use spoken text in bold, thoughts in italics, and info you only want me or someone else to read something, use a spoiler. I don't care if you want to put all of the dice rolls in spoilers.
Fifth, come on, lets all collaborate, and have fun. I am excited, personally, and I hope you are to. I wanted to leave you with a little update on the adventure, so, for your information, you will be raiding the above world. Enough said, see you all tomorrow!

I saw someone wanted to join, sorry to say, but we are filled to the limit, and maybe above. Maybe next time.

Grand Lodge

Hail DM Tanis... Just double-checking if you've had a chance to look over Quizzles character sheet, and if there are any adjustments you'd like, and, you know, if she's really accepted.

Ooh, ooh, ooh! Quizzle's gonna be master sneak-thief. Bestest ever! Sneakings and peepings. Now I just gotta find the right evil drow for plottings and schemings. Quizzle will help them lots. Be indispensible. Then drow will be really grateful. Reward Quizzle with lots of treasures. Hope they not try to make slave of Quizzle. That make Quizzle sad.

How I meet drowses? Walk up, shake hand? Humanses likes that. Not sure Quizzle wants to shake drow hand. Maybe steal something from drow? Show Quizzle good sneak-thief. The best even. Might just make drowses mad, tho. So what should Quizzle do? Quizzle needs thinking some more.

Liberty's Edge

Oh yes, Quizzle is fine. Quizzle will have to prove herself to the drow. I will message you.

O ill have use for you, yes in deed,

HP: #/# | AC # | T # | FF #| CMD #| F +#| R +#| W +#| Init +#| Per +#

HP: HealthPoints
AC: ArmorClass
T: TouchAC
FF: Flat-FootedAC
CMD: Combat modifier defense
F: Fortitude
R: Reflex
W: Will
Init: Initiative
Per: Perception

Please include the '|'

Is my 'header' correct? I changed out two feats, Dark Adept (which is almost the same thing as "drow nobility"; and Arcane Vendetta; To take up Drow Nobility and Improved Drow Nobility... Thanks for helping me figure that out Bel. For this post I'm using Variouls for the Weaponsmaster's name for our house... Feel free to use it if you don't have one yet yourself :)

After showing Varioul's pupils how swordplay is mixed with magic; Terakeer makes his way back to his quarters.

I've been with this house for decades now; and she still won't give me the weapons master title... Guess I'll have to make it happen myself eh?

He pulls his cloak to and clasps it in front, pulling his cowl over his head as well, letting only his face barely be seen with normal vision. But even with the 'drow' darkvision, only his face can be seen. The special cloaks are abundant in the underdark; so this is no surprise.

Snapping at the guards, who tried to play a prank on him, as he walks into the house.

I wonder what Matron has for us... I've not talked with her in a few days, surly she'll have some demand soon enough... One day... My day shall come...

No problem.

I was planning on playing Bel as a mercanary, but if DM/anyone has a better idea as to how to bring him in i'm open to suggestions.

me an you could be friends. Finding each other while we were exploring the underdark, helping each other survive. A summoner an magus would make a great duo team, Teakeers parents were killed and he was takin into this house because of his skill in mixing arcane and swordplay. He would have explored on his own alot, just to get away from people. Thoughts?

Works for me. We've found mutual benefit working together. Feel free to include that in gameplay and I'll play along. Shall we say we've been traveling together for about a year?

She waits; that's what she does.
And I tell you what: tick followed tock followed tick followed tock followed tick...
Ahab says, 'I don't care who you are, here's to your dream.'
'Here's to you, Ahab'.
And the fat drummer hit the beat with all his heart.
Here's to waiting.

Rather working together. Maybe looking for a way out of this wretched place, maybe looking for something thats rumored to be in the underdark somewhere, something we don't want the 'jaraxle' character (Hulli I believe) getting ahold of. Were starting today right?

We've Started!!! YAYAY BUDDY!

As change of GM to me and the lost of one player means we could use 2 more Drow, so whos up for a game of spiders and Darkness.

Dark Archive

Volunteer here!!!

Have a read of what GM Tanis put down as the build, no noble Drow sorry, the only one is an MPC now and may not live that much longer.

GM The Drow wrote:

Reminder: Although the DM did OK the "Noble feats" from the ARG. So can't be RP noble though.

Dark Archive

I think we need a rogue type. Everyone ok with the NINJA? Or a Lawful Evil Monk perhaps....

BTW will Zalazra be leaving the party to its own devices?

yes im taking that back, Noble is now ok to play, feats and all.

@Redavel
yes Zalazra is doing just that for now, things will change a but shortly
as she a NPC now. keep an I on game play.

Can I edit my character a bit and be a noble drow? That was my original idea, but I had to edit.

Thing is Belgraen is male, so that kind of puts a limmit on you being a full Nobel as they are Female and clerics.

So what do you have in mind?

GM The Drow wrote:

In the books they weren't all female or clerics, but those in power primarily were. Drizzt himself for example. Noble males weren't looked upon as much more than breeding stock and useful tools. However, it's your world to build as you see fit.

No specific non-mechanical change. I had just originally made this character as a noble Drow who is particularly adept at summoning demons and what not. It would be nice to play up that personality trait. I can still do so, it'll just be a bit harder. As it stands he has "noble blood" and is from a fallen house. It's just reflected in feats instead of the Noble "template."

No worries either way.

Ill PM you Belgraen

Alrighty.

An i wanted Tera as a weapons master, but honestly id rather keep him as the weapons master rival now, aspiring to.... steal the position :)

How very Drow

Dear players out there The Drow game is

Looking for two Evil Dwarfs
any class from Pathfinder books
Level 5 and gold for that level
Gunslings ok and Guns abound in Dwarf lands

Please read the game thread to get an Idea of the game and setting.

Making your PC

Any kind of Dwarf deep etc
15 point buy.
Any class thats on the srd, and no third party.
We will start at level 6.
For health, roll on this thread, at first level take full, and then take roll + CON after that.
Take 6th level money + 5000gp
Two traits, that tie into backround well.
I need a short backround, 2 or so paragraphs.
Recruitment will end when I have two fully built Pcs I like
so its a bit 1st come 1st served etc.

Good luck

NOTE this game was set up by another GM who left, so Im kind of stuck with how he set it up. :)
