Cool - I could use the cash! ;)
I won't wait on this one, but one final thought for Tony: if you took 'longsword' as your swashbuckler bonus Martial Weapon Proficiency, you could still own and use a dueling sword (since it counts as a longsword if you don't have the Exotic Weapon Proficiency), and have a good reason to pick up the Exotic Weapon Proficiency later on. Not instead of the rapier, but as well as it. Just an idea.

Now taking bets on first character death? (doh on not putting dagger on char sheet)
One good thing about being a rogue.. you always remember to have one.. or two..
At least the dicebot smiled for me on the opening scene.. still, not betting on first char death.. y'all've seen my die roll abilities.. heh.
But then again.. if I *were* to bet.. I'd bet it'd be that pesky gnome.. he's probably criticizing our sleeping habits..

That's okay - we'll just have Bandy wake up a bit after the others. (In the actual AP it's meant to be one person wakes per round, but at an average 24 hours per round of combat, that'd be a frustrating week or so for the lowest roller to wait to get to post anything...).
Actually, I've noticed a design-ethic with these Adventure Paths that they really like to screw PCs over for the first fight; I mean: prone, sickened, sans-equipment, and the other guys have already got an attack in... it's not a nice way to start a campaign (and potentially lethal for poor level 1 characters). But heh, it's more fun if it's a (lethal) challenge, right? :)
Technically they also give these lobster-things a 10ft reach with their tails, but since they're meant to be about 3 feet long, I can't picture them with 10 foot long tails (not to mention it'd make the fight incredibly tough - level 1 PCs aren't know for shrugging off multiple attacks of opportunity...), so I've gone and skipped that particular little gem in the stat block. When you meet their big brothers... now that'll be another story entirely!
oops! forgot Color Spray was mind affecting as well, just thought it was Illusion. Soryy, Ishirou.
That's okay, you only have to bribe Shisa and you'll have plausable deniability... 'Colour spray? What colour spray?'
By the way, Aerodus can keep his nice rolls for his round two action (posted a bit early there, but no probs). Everyone else can feel free to post their next round of actions as well.

Shisa's too busy fumbling to notice anything.. well.. for 10 silver she'll use that as an excuse anyways.. ;)
*mutter* Any benies for rolling the first nat 1 when it's least needed?? :)

I'll try to keep the double turn posts down; (was going to be a long weekend, didnt know how long it would take me to respond, nor how fast the combat would go)
Wow.. Paladin without armor/shield, going to be a fun trip!
Did I mention I have favored enemy (anything with a shell/exoskeleton)? New paladin class feature...

1st, I want it to be know, I blame the paladin for our predicament. It is clear he was not that thorough about his patrols as he would like us to believe. 2nd it is now evident that the kraken and it's spawn have a personal vendetta against sir holy knight for some past grievance. 3rd I propose throwing the paladin (whom i believe is hiding his flaming skull under that helmet) into the sea as a sacrifice. All in favor? Aye

Hmmm... I'm furiously scribbling down notes here... 'Kraken mind tricks'... hmmm... :)
By the way, there's normally no penalties to rolling a '1' apart from not hitting - I'm not a big fan of 'fumble' rules (the implication that even veteran warriors do something stupid in combat about 1 in 20 swings of their weapon seems weird to me). Besides, PCs do plenty to shoot themselves in the foot, they don't need game mechanics to help 'em! ;)

*Kraken waves it's claw dismissively.* "These are not the kraken you are looking for."
Somehow sir dwarf, I blame the gnome. After all, he's always whining about somethings, scribbling in his book (probably a summons spell) and.. he's annoying. Besides, he didn't like the great story I told him.. he's obviously possessed by the kraken.

So let me get the round in place. We have tony (the krit machine), and myself actions for this round. Nothing for the fruit (don't hunk he has even acted) and missing this round is... shisa and mundin?
I'm good.. my 2d round was a glorious nat 1.. Still dodging and weaving waiting to see if I get hit (hopefully not as I'm semi-squishy)
This is a game of firsts for me.. 1st PbP, 1st Pathfinder game, and now 1st using HeroLabs. The in game tab makes it easy to track my damage / status. Just clicked the box for sickness and all stats self-adjusted :) Easier than using paper to track how many hps I have left.

She throws him a wink before dashing off to lend a hand to Marik, leaving the young man temporarily speechless.
Just a quick note: generally you shouldn't post anything except what your character is trying to do - don't assume results if they could be in question, and certainly don't post other people's reactions (be they PCs or NPCs). Shisa may hope to leave people speechless, but it's up to the players (or DM for NPCs) concerned as to what their reactions actually are.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled randomness... ;)

Have a little tally marker going for the whole campaign?
I will apologize OOC if I seem to be bossing anyone around; but not In game; (Oh the joys of being a paladin!)
Opinion on whether or not you believe that mount bond would be 'useful' or even plausible in this Adv? The PG says its tricky, but I know the overall arc is up to the DM.. if not I am perfectly fine with weapon bond.
Also possibility of taking Iomedean Sword oath?

LOL - it'll probably be a year real time before you guys are even near level five, the pace these PbPs go... I wouldn't worry about it yet!
Also possibility of taking Iomedean Sword oath?
The what now? Despite my carefully cultivated appearance of omniscience, it's probably best to quote where something's from when you ask me stuff like this, so I at least have a fighting chance of looking it up! :)

Sorry was looking at paladin variants. some looked interesting.. the replacement of the divine bond part was some of my question as it would replace it all.. but definitily jumping the gun.
And.. on the sword oath.. wow.. nevermind I get to blow a feat to qualify for any longsword weapon feats as if I was a 4thlvl fighter ie: weapon specialization; but if I use ANY weapon other than a longsword I lose the benefits until atonement.
Definetly seems alot lack luster than I originally thought
and since its a lvl 4 prereq.. guessing not an immediate worry
My apologies.

Drat! They are onto my antipaladin tactics.
Aha! I knew you just wanted to keep the prisoner chained for your nefarious machinations! I bet it's some spawn sacrifice or something.
now that my avatar's fixed and not showing all that sub stuff.. I bet that was the Paladin's doing too.. ;)

For grappling hook chucking purposes, please note that such an implement is treated as a thrown weapon with a range increment of 10ft... meaning you can chuck it a maximum of 50ft - plus you need a protrusion of some sort to actually try to grapple (the side of a cliff generally won't do, unless there happens to be a suspiciously convenient branch growing out of it or something... which there isn't). So, once you're withing 50ft of the wreck then be my guests, but until then it's climbing the hard way!

Methinks the Paladin is out to drown me.. probably because I'm on to his kraken spawn ways. Mundin better be careful or he'll be next.
No, first i am going to get the other rogue killed by having him" fall" down the cliff.
Then the weighted rope trick for the remaining rogue. And then the kraken cult shall rise from the depths... or we are giving the dm some fun ideas...

** looking around for a suitable replacement to being the second sacrifice..**
Of course, you realize, the kraken may require a virgin.. that'd leave Marik as everyone knows bookworms never have fun ;)

Oh Mama Kraken Im playing both sides
As the long arm of the law....
The jig is up, with the apg out, the party found out about me..
This Antipaladin who had it made, on a ship to Mwangi
One by one they'll pay, till the Kraken's Day!
Dear mama Kraken, I can feel their fear
they are scared and all alone...
Kraken spawn rising from the depths
and it wont be very long...
Obviously I need more free time
