At 5th level, when a tower shield specialist employs a tower shield in combat, he does not take the –2 penalty on attack rolls because of the shield’s encumbrance. does employing the tower shield in combat count for bashing?

I thought one of my feats allowed a bash with any shield
may have to swap back to standard fighter and use a heavy steel shield
though I don't understand how with my 24 str I can't swing a 50 lb shield including spikes

I thinks I have found a good second class and race to go with it. Aasimar muse-touched. Bard (street performer) I would also like to add (song healer) to it as well since they take different class abilities. I would also like to drop the gladhandling since getting payed more doesn't really help in this setting.

Changes that I would like to make.
Bard: I would like to drop glad handler since gaining more gold from performances has no baring in this game.
I would also like to add the alternative class to bard song healer this is not really important to the character I just don't think the frightful songs go really well with the character. Each alt replaces different class features so there is no over lapping.
Aasimar: I would like to use the alt ability invigorating kiss. I figure this will go well with his personality.

how are pyrkenetist and ice wyvern suposed to mix, answer they don't have to, the earthbending could be a thing taught to him by his family... wait no that doesn't work with the backstory I got going together... could be an airbender or water though...

Though with a small addition to one of there already in place abilities it would have an ability to deal with attacks such as fireball. Though the addition I'm thinking of works pretty much like the bard counter song. So not really needed for me.

i sent the class to lyorna, and the entire character. she already approved the class, now i'm just looking to see if everything else is sound.

Though I can't tell until I play it out if it would be more powerful that counter song or on par with. It would be on par it it would effect less of and area than counter song since it is an immediate action.
