As a clarification, make sure you get the green light on your character from either myself or DB3 (usually me) before entering the game. There is no max character limit, you will get a spot, but I really prefer to manage entry into the game since you'll need one of us on board to do the intro. Also I have a spot coming up in the near future that will be amenable to mass introductions with the start of a new term, so that would be the most ideal time to bring in new folks.

Why not just use bodyfeeder or mindfeeder? What's the difference there? I'm just curious.

Vampiric actually heals you of 1d6 while bodyfeeder gives temp HP. Mindfeeder does the same for PPs.
Bodyfeeder is finer, and one I have already suggested for him, I just thought allowing Vampiric, which is from MiC, fit really well with the weapon being made from his blood.

Apologies for my silence yesterday. I was having the day from hell. After the migraine that wouldn't end finally ended I planned to sleep in yesterday....that didn't work out on account of getting woken up early by the roofers working right above my head. My apartment complex is run by idiots who thought that over the holidays was a great time to replace the roof. And thanks to my menniere's I spent the first few hours of the day curled up in excruciating pain trying not to puke from the motion sickness caused by the noise. Thankfully they are working on a different part of the building today so I'm doing a fair bit better. Now to get things moving again.

Would it count as a +4 or a +3. I'm guessing +3 like bodyfeeder. I don't really have an issue with it. There are times when the temp hps from bodyfeeder are actually more beneficial. I just wanted to clarify what we were talking about.

The game will definitely be continuing. I have yet to play in any game that doesn't have lulls around the holidays. Folks have family commitments and whatnot, me included. Getting back to it now.
I'm attempting to get into it, as well; it's just that the character creation is going slow as a snail, and I really don't know how to do much by myself. :/

Once you feel you've gotten a handle on things with your first character you can definitely bring in a second. Just like there's no limit on number of players, there's no limit on number of characters you can run...it's an odd sort of game that way. Works in its own 'special' way. ;P

This sounds like a ton of fun. I use to play a lot of rules light pbp, but fell out of the habit and never got back into it. I kind of want to apply, but it seems a little crazy right now, so maybe I should wait until things are a little less hectic. ...Need to mull over what I'd want to play, anyway.
All entries are accepted, there is no limit to the number of players.
Sometimes that work is slow and methodical, but apparently the end result is decent enough, so that's why I'm sticking around until my character can whip his blood back and forth.

Yep, we're all crazy here. Also, this is very much not like a standard game. It's definitely sandbox, and in some ways more like a text-based MMO. :)
Anyways, messages re-found and re-sent. For future reference, if I haven't responded to a PM after about three to four days, it's appreciated to send a reminder. Especially in a case like this where technical difficulties on my end left me unaware that you guys hadn't gotten a response. And I do apologize for dropping the ball there.
