"Lycanthropes? You mean werewolves?" He turns to look back at the group of boys before turning back "They look nothing like the werewolves I have seen before. Granted though I only saw them when they were changed. I should be alright with class well only one I am bit worried about is Advanced PE but that is for different reasons."

It'll be interesting to see what you're capable of in PE. If you need a place to unload no holds barred, theres probably a place like that too."

Enre thinks on this for a moment before answering "I did not know that thank you for telling me that. The Headmaster said he will allow me use of a practiced room and maybe a sparing partner. Anyway since you all seem to be the few people who have spoken to me well other than the rude growling boy and a dhampir named Asch. Could you tell me who else comes to this school or people that you think I should watch out for?"

"We have a Theology teacher, but not one for Philosophy. I don't doubt you'd have things to teach our PE classes either. and magic teachers are always welcome. There are different kinds of magic popping up all the time. So, really, it would be up to you what you teach."

Late afternoon. Still same day. Not sure where the wee hours of the night things came from...As far as I know right now Ephebe is inside the Clock training, Jiminy is finishing up a project he was working on to distract him from feeling too responsible, Fieri was finishing up her schoolwork in preparation for going and bugging Gaelvin for music lessons, Kitty and Michael are walking to town, Enre, Ryuzo, and Keme are all acclimating to their new school environment, Krays is in his room due to molting, Amada was on her way to the cafeteria, but didn't make it (I'm guessing Silver had to bring her some food), and Asch and Tam are having a difficult conversation, oh and Keaton is somewhere getting ready to surprise Ryo with his transformation back to human. I think that's it for now. Yes, I actually keep track of all of this in my head. Yes, I know that's kinda scary. :)

Edit: woops, forgot Vakkler who was preparing to leave on a short trip.

Fieri set down the textbooks...her homework was technically done. Not well, but at least she had something to turn in...She set off for the library to see if Gaelvin was there and not so tired.

Tamrin just looks at his wayward apprentice for a moment, then sighs.

"Alright. Those are all wise precautions to take, so we'll go with those. If there is any change at all, we need to know about it ASAP so it can be handled before we have another incident like this again. Deal?"

"Well, here we are, the city of Kuros. It's no Mentor or Anderail, but it's still a pretty good place." Michael explains as he indicates the city. "Come on, my place with a view isn't far from here at all."

Taking Kitty's hand, Michael leads her through the city. He goes slowly so she can look around and enjoy the city.

Of course, the fact I didn't know how to swim may have had something to do with that." He stops in front of a libray and opens the door for Kitty, letting her walk inside. The noise of the city is cut off as the heavy door swings closed behind the,. "Welcome to my little hideout." He says dramtically. The librarian seems to know Michael, and raises an eyebrow when he sees Kitty is with him. Michael smiles sheepishly and leads Kitty toward the back of the library. Once there, he slides a bookshelf aside to reveal a hidden door, which he then opens and leads her up. Soon, up in the tower, Kitty is treated to a birds-eye view of the city.

"Wow! This is awesome!" she said, eagerly looking around, clearly not the least bit afraid of heights. "I guess you don't bring a lot of people here, huh?" she asked happily. "Cause the librarian looked really surprised to see you bring someone else."

From their high vantage point, Michael and Kitty notice a slurk--tiny from up here--hopping down the streets. Riding it is a kobold of a familiar orange color. They see the kobold stop at an inn and enter.

Gaelvin sits in the library hidden by rows of tomes he had been reading. His blue shades atop his head as he rubs his temples. The fact that his senses were picking up a number of powerful minds was not helping, normally such power had control enough not to leave themselves open. He started humming and started feeling better, the tomes slowly rose moving in tune. He was aware he would get dirty looks by any staff in the library but he cared little at this point.

From their high vantage point, Michael and Kitty notice a slurk--tiny from up here--hopping down the streets. Riding it is a kobold of a familiar orange color. They see the kobold stop at an inn and enter.

Kitty grimaced. "Well, I guess we know where to avoid. I'd rather not run into Professor Relkav again anytime soon. And especially not outside of school. He'd probably go ballistic and give us detentions for the rest of our lives for being off school grounds without permission."

"I don't usually have anyone to bring up here. Hey, does that kobold look familiar to you?" Michael says as he points to the kobold on a slurk.

Shortly after Vakkler goes inside, they see a man in long white robes approach the slurk.
After a pause, the man follows Vakkler into the inn.

That's what I get for not making sure and previewing before I submit. Ignore that part.

The innkeeper, a ravid-like black snake with a single arm, slithers around the bar with a sour look on his face. "So..." he mutters to himself, "...the kobold's back." He speaks louder. "Hey, Vakkler! Where's that money you owe me, eh?"
Vakkler climbs up onto a barstool and drops a clinking pouch on the counter. "That's it, I believe. I'd like--"
The creature pays him no heed, rapidly counting the coins.
"Sytt?"
Sytt keeps counting.
Vakkler gets up with a sigh, and stalks over to the corner. There is a man already sitting there.
The man glares when Vakkler sits down opposite him. "Hey, Relkav, who said--"
The door opens, and a cloaked derro enters. He grins at Vakkler. "Ah, I saw your slurk outside."
The derro walks to "Vakkler's" table. The man who'd been there first hastily gives up his spot as he bolts out of the inn.
Indeed, the Abyssal Cockerel empties quite quickly. Soon only Sytt, Vakkler and the newcomer remain.
The derro grins. "Been too long. So, let's talk."

"Hey, Kitty... want to see what that scaled jerk is here for?" Michael asks as he watches the man in white robes follow Vakkler. Then he shakes his head. "Nah, don't want to ruin his day by making him issue two more detentions, do we?"

Sytt watches the pair warily, ready to call the guard if worst comes to worst. Or the emergency sending scroll given to him to contact that Headmaster, if things got really...actually, no, he couldn't imagine a situation that would get him to call the Cardcaster.
"Yervicc, we've discussed this before. The school--"
"Is exceedingly interesting, Vakkler." Yervicc toys with a knife while he talks. "You know it well. What kind of a school uses oozes for a sewer? Well, I found a couple of students playing hooky here--"
If kobolds could blanch, Vakkler would now. "I told you, the students are off-limits!"
"Wrong." Yervicc chuckles. "The school is off-limits. Besides, the students are alive."
Vakkler glares. "I know what a derro is, Yervicc. Somehow, I have some idea. Are they sane?"
"As sane as you or me." Yervicc smiles disarmingly. "Dear Vakkler, surely you didn't think me incapable of a bit of memory magic!"
"It's hardly your style."
"Anyway," Yervicc continues, "they told me some interesting things. Like what that school is. You've been dishonest."
"Look, I'll explain it later. I need your help."
Yervicc's eyes widen. "Mine? Well, I'm all flustered. What could you need my help with?"
Vakkler reaches into his pouch and procures a dark item the size of his hand: a dragon scale.
Sytt considers the scroll.

"Hey, Kitty... want to see what that scaled jerk is here for?" Michael asks as he watches the man in white robes follow Vakkler. Then he shakes his head. "Nah, don't want to ruin his day by making him issue two more detentions, do we?"

"And I don't want to ruin our day either. I'd much rather spend my time with you than getting yelled at by that guy again," she said, smiling shyly.

Vakkler leaves the inn and freezes.
He looks up slowly to the library. The small kobold shakes his fist.
Then he wonders why he's done so. He mounts his slurk and rides to the butcher's shop.

Michael slowly stands up and looks over the railing.

"I don't think he saw us, so we're in the clear." He tells Kitty. "I got a bit of a rush when he looked up here, kinda like when I'm dodging rocks in the gym."

"Have you any questions for me?"

"Only one. What powers has Keme exhibited up to now? It would be helpful to know what to expect so I can rearrange his classes accordingly."

Good question...Lyn, a little help here. Has he diplayed anything over and beyond the scope of a normal kitsune, or is it just that he's not the appropriate age for the number of tails/power he has?

For the second time today I discover that my email has lost something. :(

Michael slowly stands up and looks over the railing.

"I don't think he saw us, so we're in the clear." He tells Kitty. "I got a bit of a rush when he looked up here, kinda like when I'm dodging rocks in the gym."

She laughed. "Yeah, danger has a way of spicing things up. Eek," she shrieked, leaning dangerously far over the railing as she caught Saffire before he learned the hard way whether or not he could fly.
