Okay, cool; good to know. I'm working on the post describing why Nasima's been so absent during the previous [day's | days' | week's] shenanigans.
So today is my goof off day. I did the 'honey-do' list stuff the last three days and I'll go back to studying chemistry tomorrow, but for today I am goofing off. Specifically I am painting. It's slow going, but there is some color on these pictures now. :)
And it's times like these when photoshop would be so handy. Sigh. :)

Ghalen looks like he's wearing humble robes, it's actually glammered combat armor. He doesn't have any open badges or markings of rank as an imperial inquisitor, but dragonstar-style combat armor can't be too common.
Not common, no, but remember that the original inhabitants of this planet came from the dragon empire. And the current inhabitants are known for scavenging whatever working tech they can find. It would strike people as unusual, but not to the point of ringing any alarm bells.

Nope, it isn't.
About the only person on campus who has Imperial-tech style armor on is Tamrin. But Aananda would definitely recognize it, as would the kids and Ryo.

You know, considering all the things that go one in my school under the use of illusions(some of which turned out to be Jiminy's), yeah, I've a true seeing effect up.
Speaking of that, what kind of sensors does Ryo have up at all times, esp. in his office? I'm not totally clear on his mechanics, but he seems to have a lot of heavy duty arcana and tech going on simultaneously a lot of the time. I don't need like a super-detailed rundown or anything, I just want to make sure I don't miss giving you some info that your sensors or spells might pick up, if there is any.
Oh, and let me know if I'm overreaching with the whole "distant planet" silliness. I'll retcon as necessary. I'm just still pretty fuzzy on the whole multiversal situation in this game, but I needed him to be from Someplace Far Away, without taking undue liberties.
If Aananda can make it, and it's not weaponry, that is the tech he has in his office. He has magic to keep his mind from being read by all but the strongest of the known pyschics(High Seers stronger than him), true seeing, and a few protection magicks.
As for the "far-way planet", the current wards keep any non-ally of the Amethyst dragons from seeing the planet as anything but a barren rock with no use.
Gotcha. Just invented a connection, but perhaps there's a better one? Any other ways an ultra hi-tech and basically peaceful world might have come across y'all?

But if they were a legit source of tech that could take....let's just say various forms of payment besides Imperial bank account transfers....Tamrin could have conceivably used them as a supplier of hi-tech components and such.
Aight. Does that sound legit to you? It wouldn't be anything major, I mean, this can be the Agartha equivalent of a company that sells beakers and bunsen burners or something. I just imagine that some outside supplies have to come in eventually.

By the way, forgot to say this earlier; the whole arc of Vai being kidnapped and replaced with a doppleganger was very well done. I dunno if any of you guys dare venture back in the game to re-read things, but that whole bit was riveting and really exciting to read, as was the Lysander vs. Ryleh confrontation afterwards. Kudos to all involved with that.
