I'm pretty sure we eventually decided that Ardiente didn't have a roommate as of yet (which works because of the current state of Ardiente's room ;P).
Maybe one of the new firebirds will be assigned to be Ardiente's roomie.

I don't believe boys n girls are officially allowed to be roommates Mel...
Siblings are allowed to share a room regardless of gender. Yes, Ephebe and Jiminy were roommates for a while. So were Ursula and Bradley. And I do believe that Tyrrin and Ehos currently share a room. And sometimes couples are allowed to share a room. Nobody frowns on occasional overnight visits (or more than occasional in Tami and Dom's case). Heck, I wouldn't be shocked at this point if the school decided that Kitty and Michael spend so much time in each other's rooms that it just merges the two rooms together (since neither of them has a roommate). :P
What doesn't happen is boys and girls being randomly assigned to share a room. It has to be something that the people involved actually requested.

I went and reread some discussion and unless I'm misreading it, or one of us changed our minds we did eventually decide to be room mates, with the room kept around 130 degrees Fahrenheit (I have resist fire 10, which raises to resist fire 12+endure elements in the suit)

A quick search for me revealed nothing, but I'm obviously not getting the same part you are (only thing I found was Ice and I discussing the Marcell/Ardiente situation.) Linky to your section?
It may be better to simply handwave it away, but if we did actually agree to it, we should go through with it (which will mean that last post of mine will need to be ret conned.)

I think it would be kinda awesome,
I'm going to have to look back at it, and given that class is about to start I'm going to have to wait a bit on that, but most of te discussion was whether or not his fire resist would be enough, I tweeked it a bit and he has more fire resistance now anyway

I just feel bad for whoever gets assigned to Dom's room. I don't think he would ever get any sleep. Unless he was deaf. Deaf my work. :p

I don't have a roommate yet. Maybe that's why I sleep in the alchemy lab so much. XD

Or you could just not need much sleep at all in the first place.

What are Firebirds relation, if any, to Phoenixes? or do we use a different version here?

Indeed. Virtually none of us know those exist.
lynora |
I thought they were common knowledge?
I had an NPC that helped relocate them.
As stated upthread, those phoenix are pets. Not the same as the phoenix that MG linked to. The phoenix that exist on Agartha are not particularly intelligent, more like fiery peacocks.

You know, in Mel's room you don't need to wear your armor, she says biteing her lower lip and a naughty grin

*takes note of lip biting*
ah1, resist fire 10 is enough for just about any environmental heat, and those that would get through probably wouldn't be deterred by two more points and an endure elements tier ability, so he wouldn't need the suit in ardente's room, unless he keeps the room at hotter than 750 or so, (Farienhite 740 if I remember right is when the human body spontaneously ignites, being on (non magical) fire does 1d6 damage. even max damage roll, I'd still have resist 4 to spare,)
1b I produce heat when I get emotional (passionate emotions like rage, not like depression, this is one of the signs of his powers about to develop further, he's producing more energy and it has nowhere to go) or use his powers. at his hottest he currently does 1 point of fire damage when punching or grappling.
2 so far as Arthur knows, you're still in a relationship... so definitly not now
though... if that were to change... just because he has his room, doesn't mean that's where he's required to spend the nights...
Arthur Barren |
I. I'm pretty sure you have at least resist 5,
2. your armor grants, among other things, endure elements
3. I don't think you require "comfort"
3b you could wear the armor at all times in the room if you chose
4 I was giving extreme examples, the flash point of paper is 451, and most clothes ignite around 570, so it'll be lower than that,
5 you can heal yourself (and any other construct) at will as a standard action.

Alright by the looks of it we never actually solidly decided anything concretely, but it was close enough (I found the section you mentioned).
In order to make with the fix (since Arthur/Hermes never mentioned how messy their roommate was or anything of the sort, and I'd like that preserved because I think it'll be super awkward when they go into the room that Raelle messed up looking for Ardi).... here we go:
Is that agreeable?
