This really all just makes perfect sense to him.
"People say I look like a girl, apparently I think like a girl, girls seem to have it better, I can have the ability to be a girl and still be a guy when it suits me, so why not?"
He can really have the best of both with the item.
Catfolk females don't even have the same human female drawbacks. Just heat for one or two weeks out of the year. And during that time he could just be male again. According to the BoEF Alter Self isn't a complete biological change, so no pregnancy.
Virtually no down side as far as he can see.

This one might be available if one of your characters happens to be in the library and Ice agrees to it. We're working on illustrating a book off screen in the library right now.

Yes Lim-Môr is finished completely, but I'm considering swapping a couple to get augmented summoning.
I didn't see a familiar fitting into him and if he had, I would've needed one for Gian too, because I'm funny like that.
:)
Plus I wanted to get as much of mystic Theurge as I could, so I actually managed to get the full 10 there.

My friends did this on our Facebook gaming page, figure I'd continue it here.
You know you game way too much when:
1) All the bookmarks on your cell phone are gaming sites.
I downloaded and use an entire extra browser for this on my phone.
I have 4 book marks.My PM box
My Campaigns
The d20pfsrd
The 3.5 wiki
My campaigns is my home screen on the new lappy....

While the bad imp-good imp thing would also work for this, it isn't in his levels.
If I went a different way with him, it would work, but it would be different than how he is.
A familiar just doesn't fit into Lim-Môr's character as he is.

Just because rules wise something works, doesn't mean you should actually do it, without some incredible story behind it.
Foul, you really gotta reign in your munchkin side.
first off, a celestial imp normally wouldn't be very powerful unless you also snagged leadership and gave it class levels, if he had one it would be a bit stronger as he has a higher BAB and HP than a standard caster
second a celestial imp would be great story opportunitythird, he said no, and I'm not going to push

General question for anybody that can help
keeping only to pathfinder (Paizo published books) is there a way for a sorcerer to have a famliar without multiclassing?
in particular I am trying to have this as a familiar: Azata Lyrakien

arcane bloodline or tattooed sorcerer

looking things over...
the orginal chaarcter is a gnome sorcerer with the fey bloodline specializing in enchanments and charms.
I could take the crossblooded archtype to pick up the arcane bloodline and the 1st level power is to have a famliar.
but I would loose some spells known and -2 on will saves. also would loose the fey ability of laughing touch (which would be quite fun)
but the end is there is no way to have that creature as a familiar right away (I would probably need improved familiar feat first)
EDIT: the Azata Lyrakien says it is available to a CG 7th level caster with the improved familiar feat.

take the tattooed familiar archetype

OK LF, I found the Archetype the only problem is that I am loosing nearly all of my Fey bloodline abilities which totally changes the entire concept of the character.
example I took the Fey bloodline becuase I liked the bloodline abilities and it fits the character concept.
the tattooed sorcerer bloodline pretty much means that any bloodline will do since most if not all are being replaced.
(replaces the 1st, and 9th level bloodline powers also loose a bonus feat).
give up:
Laughing Touch (Sp): At 1st level, you can cause a creature to burst out laughing for 1 round as a melee touch attack. A laughing creature can only take a move action but can defend itself normally. Once a creature has been affected by laughing touch, it is immune to its effects for 24 hours. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. This is a mind-affecting effect.
and
Fleeting Glance (Sp): At 9th level, you can turn invisible for a number of rounds per day equal to your sorcerer level. This ability functions as greater invisibility. These rounds need not be consecutive.
these are the two things I liked about the fey bloodline especially as an enchantment / charm specialist

hmm, yeah, those are your options,
if your DM accepts 3rd party or 3.5 you could take the "obtain familiar" feat at lvl 3
or if you're willing to spend 2-3 feats you could get an animal companion (this is not third party)
take nature soul
You are innately in tune with nature and venerate the power and mystery of the natural world.
Benefit: You get a +2 bonus on all Knowledge (nature) checks and Survival checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.
so you qualify for
Your respect for nature is so great that you can form a deep and lasting friendship with an animal.
Prerequisites: Nature Soul, character level 4th, must not have an animal companion or mount that advances as an animal companion.
Benefit: You gain an animal companion as if you were a druid of your character level –3 from the following list: badger, bird, camel, cat (small), dire rat, dog, horse, pony, snake (viper), or wolf. If you later gain an animal companion through another source (such as the Animal domain, divine bond, hunter's bond, mount, or nature bond class features), the effective druid level granted by this feat stacks with that granted by other sources.
volia essentially you're a ranger as far as animal companions go,

yeah but the creature is only available to a CG arcane caster with the improved familiar feat.
most of my feats are spoken for but as a cross blooded I could get:
level 1: Laughing Touch (can gain additional uses via favored class option)
level 3: Arcane bond (familiar)
level 7: feat improved familiar
level 9: Fleeting Glance

Ullo. I seem to be somewhat conscious and only mostly miserable. I am soooo looking forward to Wednesday. Spending two weeks eating everything that is bad for me has...not been as fun as it sounded when I started. I never want to see another cookie again ever.....at least until a couple days after I stop eating all this crap. Then I'll want it more than anything. :/
Anyhoo...catching up on the game. Ah, we have our goblin PE teacher back? Okay, so this has really gone down exactly how I was afraid it would. Jess, no problems with you needing to take long breaks. Real life first, of course. But the PE teacher is needed for more regular interactions. I think the goblin is getting busted down to elementary PE teacher. You still get to make the kids play dodge-bomb, but it's not as big a deal when you need to take breaks.
Unless someone else wants to play the high school PE teacher (with the understanding that it is a time commitment) I'm gonna put Nanami in that spot.
And I'll work on getting posts up in the game thread as soon as I can.
